Ashe is not feeling very diplomatic with these thugs ... his patience is wearing very thin. Especially, when women are sexually harassed.. THAT INFURIATES Ashe!!!

Men who take advantage of women or hurt them merely for their own sick pleasure are worse than demons to Ashe. Such ignoble/unmanly actions puts him in a killing rage... which he realizes is unjustified in itself... but its how he feels none-the-less.

Just a tip Ebon, but from now on i would suggest you fill up your spell slots at the beginning of each day and not leave blanks.. It takes an hour for you to get new spells and we are often not gonna have the time to do that..

Also, just to make sure you all saw it and write it down i gave out 3 wands to the new comers when we started adventuring together..

I think it only takes an hour if I do them all, doesn't it? Minimum is 15 minutes? Also, I think I can use one of those slots for a summon if worst comes to worst.
Too many times I have ended up with the wrong spell load out, so I started leaving blanks until I knew what I faced.

Im not sure about a minimum.. In the Arcane Discovery, Fast Study, text it says "Or proportionately less if he only prepares some spells, with a minimum of 15 minutes of preparation", but i can find no where it says how many "some" spells are.. Perhaps its a GM Call.. Regardless its better to have the wrong spell loadout than none at all.. At least that way you can swap em for Summon Nature spells, which you can't with just blank spell slots..

When I play higher level memorized casters, especially pfs, i too will occasionally leave a spell slot open, but only ever 1 per level max.. Not 2, 3, or even 4 slots open..

I hadn't realised about open slots need being swappable for SNA though! That makes a big difference. SNA is so flexible I wasn't too worried about having open slots, as I could always swap them for an SNA.

I'll try to memorise up at the next opportunity.

But the wand in the chest had 30 charges. Are you sure they are the same wand? #5399 the plan was for EW to be the backup healer - I don't remember using the wand at all.
Bit worried there are two wands that are being conflated.

I might have just wrote the charges down wrong.. The cure mod and cure serious wands were both found treasure so.. I dont remember finding 2 cure mod wands..

Megan, what do you wish us to do about 3.5 items, such as the cloak of charisma +2 and gauntlets of ogre power? keep them as such or convert them to pathfinder, which would be Headband of Charisma +2 and Belt of Str +2, unless the guantlets were +4..

Good question. I don't mind, really.

To my mind it doesn't really matter if it's a cloak or a headband, it is the power embued in them that is significant. I doubt every magical crafter who wants to make a charisma-enhancing item reaches for a headband. Some must use something else... consider if you were making one for a noble lady, she probably wouldn't want a headband, she'd prefer a necklace or a brooch.

The gauntlets of ogre power are +2, so directly equivalent to the belt of strength. Again, if you'd rather have a belt than gauntlets we can change it.

Just keep an eye on your slots.

Sacred Bonuses [which is what the Vindicator's shield grants] add to CMD and effectively every other level as my channel positive energy goes up... so does my AC / CMD! I don't need to heal myself.. I rarely get hit.. and almost NEVER critted!

The Aura of Resolve you give up as the Sacred Servant... turns a paladin's mind into a fortress.. unshakable even by the most powerful of mind effecting effects. The paladin is simply immune.

Ashe is built around being... basically just plain invulnerable to harm.. but too dangerous to think one can ignore him! His smite evil is quite devastating.. and he's only 7th level right now.

Imagine what his AC and damage will be once he has combined a Phalytery of Positive Channeling {for an additional +50% cost only} with his upgraded Headband of Alluring Charisma +4 at level 13? That's a +8 Sacred Bonus to AC and CMD!

Not that I'm exactly sure how far this AP will go.. but I DO intend to make levels of Holy Vindictor... but only after Ashe has gotten a total of 12 levels in paladin.

Paladin advances channel energy at the same rate as HV, so 1 level is actually all you need if you just want the Sacred Bonuses.

as for Aura of Resolve. Great Power. but barring 1's unlikely to be needed.
Ashe's and Daniel's saves are in auto pass territory.
and there is a wayfinder+Ioun stone combo that grants almost as much protection.

I like the different builds though.
Ashe is a Pure Tank. Heaps of AC and a Big Gun
Daniel is a Self Propelled Artillary Gun, Lower AC and All Firepower. (The Movanic Deva spamming Holy Smite and acting as a heal battery for the party is also sweet.)

Lol! Yeah I know about that Ioun stone Wayfinder combo... its on my list to acquire. Its 'why', besides the fact Ashe is a Pathfinder ... that is why I'm carrying a wayfinder at all. I just didn't have the cash to get the Clear Spindle Ioun Stone with my last purchsaes. I'd also like to get my hands on a Nacreous grey sphere Ioun stone.. but that is really a luxury.

If Ashe EVER earns even just a single Mythic level .. I'll not need the Nacreous stone as Ashe will already then be unaging.. and no longer constrained by time so he can continue hunting evil ...literally forever; until something kills him that is!

I think the standard ending level for this campaign is ard 14th.. Now Megan might choose to take it higher or whatev's..

I also use Gargoyle form for the gore and bite attack on my 9th level pfs magus.. Remember you gain flight and darkvision as well with it up.. And the stat bumps/NA bump..

Megan I got a question...

Can an existing weapon that is already magical ...be reforged/enchanted made of a different material..with say a +50% increase cost for the effective 'adding an additional enchantment' as mentioned on the CORE rule PF p. 553 "Adding New Abilities"?

Speciafically could Ashe have Dauntless Heart refogred/enchanted made of Cold Iron... without loosing all he's already invested int he enchantment in the weapon already? [ie. Not have to buy the whole sword all over again?]

With what I'm proposing it would cost {if you would allow it}, +2,000gp [additional cost to enchant Cold Iron weapons - one time cost] + Longsword-Cold Iron [30gp {cold Iron weapons cot 2x their normal versions}] + 50%

Total = 2,000gp + 30 gp + 50% = 3,045gp additional Cost to Dauntless Heart's current cost of 8,465gp. Grand total Value of weapon 11,510gp

..of course Ashe could NOT do that right now... but later.

Much latter on..possibly after we have split up any loot from the Arkona palace as I expect we will have to fight to make them release Vencarlo and Kadapopolis to us... I want to Add Holy to Ashe's Dauntless Heart.. the last enchantment.

If I can get it reforged in a new material...might as do that at the same time.

The 'Adding New Abilities' section (Pathfinder RPG Core Rules p.553) talks about adding extra capabilities to an existing magic item, NOT re-making it completely in a different substance. What is Dauntless Heart made of at the moment? And how do you propose to keep it as the same sword if you want a sword made of cold iron instead of its current construction? That's what is puzzling me.

Adding 'Holy' to what's already on it, fine.

Dauntless Heart is currently made of typical mundane Steel.
I am proposing having a Cold Iron Longsword forged and ten have the Enchantments upon Dauntless Heart ritually transferred to the new Cold Iron Longsword... expending the old current physical form of Dauntless Heart as a material component to be expended in the enchantment transferal process. The "enchantment" on the current Dauntless Heart is not destroyed... just transferred to a new vessel.

It would sort of be like a paladin with the Weapon Bond re-enchanting his 'chosen weapon' with his Celestial Spirit bond... something else Ashe would have to do as well for he would be effectively destroying his old sword to enchant his 'replacement' weapon.

I'm merely asking if YOU Megan, would allow such a enchantment transferal process using the "adding new abilities" cost increase as a reasonable price for such a magical enchantment transferal process.

If you don't think its possible.. I'm cool with it and I'll just leave Ashe's sword made of mundane steel, adding holy when I can afford it.

If your looking for DR Bypassing the best way is to just up the enchancement.. Holy works for most higher outsiders.. I see it as very far fetched to "transfer" the essence of the weapon into a new one, i mean its not sentient is it?
