Wererat of London |
Once more into the breach, dear friends, once more!
Iommi-Tyr Magnusson looks to a point where his bomb, after targeting one wererat, could splash as many possible adjacent wererats, magnificently standing in a cluster.
(If there is no way to get several, I attack a caster-type first and the biggest & baddest second.)
(If they all look similar and there is no cluster, I attack any who are in melee with the Lusty Fools.)Iommi-Tyr Magnusson takes a 5' step to a spot away from the front-line and hurls alchemical death at the vermin.
Tyr's bomb slays one in the second rank, and splashes five adjacent wererats clustered in the alleyway....

Round 2: Test your MIGHT!
========================
Nacht looks at the Rat-being in front of him, so tiny, so inviting, a delicious morsel. The beings informed him these beings were similar to the wolf-beings in their weakness to silver and he figured out ways to inflict as much pain as possible. As he stepped forward out of the ether, an unholy strength seemed to overcome Nacht, the cobbled ground buckling under his immense power and nefarious appearance. It was time to hunt.. to KILL!
Blades flashed upon the unsuspecting rat-being, the first strike meaning to dishevel and stagger so that each blow after would wound or maim. Blood, there needed to be blood. Enough to frighten the rest.. to strike fear in them, yes Nacht wished to see his preys whimpers of futility. The unsettling sound of bones and form twisting and slurping, either his form shifting or Nacht licking his mandibles.. it was hard to tell.
Multi Ant Lead Keenstar Slash: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 292d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 2) + 7 = 12

After the first hit every hit after adds 2 more damage to the rolls, Swift action change Wasp Focus to Worm Focus.

Add +2 if I'm flanking with Nacht.

In a red, misty, blur of death-dealing silvered steel, Nacht mows down the first rank of two wererats, shifts 5 feet into the pack and nearly eviscerates a third, which squeals pitifully but still stands with its guts spilling out....

"Your reckoning has come, rats."
Too tight in the alley with the wererats for flanking, sir....
Alphonse swings Foereaper in a wide arc that slashes the wounded wererat in the second rank down....
SQUEEEEE!!!! Mother....
It falls and curls up and dies, reverting to human teenaged boy form....
Wererat of London |
In a matter of seconds and a flurry of lethal movements, The Lusty Fools have reduced the wererat pack by half!
The other half squeals and gawks in dismay at the swift and brutal slaughter deployed against them by The Lusty Fools!
The remaining four revert to dire rat form, soiling the alley with their fear-induced pellets....
They scurry off in different directions, provoking AoOs from everyone....
Paddy |
Paddy signals towards the warehouse, indicating that the party should stay silent. well, as silent as we can get anyways...lol
He then heads that way, sneaking as he goes.
stealth: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
Michael Johnson 66 |
Paddy finds several ways inside this dilapidated warehouse: a pair of large dockside doors on the south side, a regular sized door on the east wall leading onto the alley the first pack of wererats were huddled in, and a regular door on the north side, facing a courtyard....
Alphonse Veritas |
Alphonse follows until Paddy gestures at him to stay quiet.
Stealth: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (10) - 4 = 6
Alphonse dampens his usual CLANK CLANK CLANK to a more subdued clank clank clank.
Iommi-Tyr Magnusson |
My vote is we enter through the regular sized door on the east wall leading onto the alley the first pack of wererats were huddled in -- and that we be wary of ambush and trap.
Hisao of the Yellow Reeds |
Hisao checks the east wall door for traps and if he doesnt' find anything opens the door and scouts inside.

Like a shadow or an invisible ghost, Hisao secures the door, determining that there is an alarm rigged to jingle bells on a wire when the door is opened....

Paddy follows Hisao, creeping along stealthily

Unseen and unheard even without a magic ring, Paddy creeps beside the stealthy Hisao (whom even Paddy loses trace of), concurrently perceiving the wire with bells alarm set on the door....

Hisao snips the wire and lowers the bells to the ground so silently and beautifully that the gods themselves weep to see it.
Indeed, Sun Wukong wipes away a tear of pride as Hisao masterfully disables the alarm and quietly opens the side door, revealing a spacious (40-ft-by-30-ft), high-ceilinged (20 ft) warehouse in which a great number of wooden crates have been stacked in rows to create several long aisles between walls of stacked crates, between 5 and 10 ft high....
The sounds of wererats talking, laughing, rolling dice, eating, or drinking are mingled together here, coming from over the nearest hedge of stacked crates....

[dice=Stealth]1d20+18
[dice=Perception]1d20+15
Joining Hisao and Paddy at the side door, Nacht blends in with the dark surroundings like a chameleon.... He perceives the sounds of nearby wererats as well.... It sounds like there are about 20 rat-beings in this warehouse....
Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht* |
Nacht becomes... overexcited and moves inside climbing over crates and what not to observe the rat-being inside. To deliver the maximum amount of fear.. the screaming, the scurrying the running would soon happen.
Michael Johnson 66 |
Do the boxes/ crates look like they have labels? Is it easy to view their contents without making noise?
Some crates have labels, mostly foodstuff: salted herring, salted beef, pickles, et cetera.... Others are either unlabeled or so old and worn or covered with mold as to be illegible....
Wererat of London |
A cluster of five wererats sitting on lower stacks of crates in the first aisle turn to behold the dark, ominous Nacht as he crawls over the first hedge of crates....
Eh!? Wazzat!? Eeeeek!!!
We got a strange visitor, mates!.... What is it!?
An intruder! To arms!
The twenty wererats within this warehouse are all alerted by the squeaky cries of their fellows who are now spotting Nacht....

Hisao of the Yellow Reeds |
Hisao sighs and tries to work from the outside in, picking off one of the wererats on the edge of the crowd.
AOO Invisible slash on Flatfooted I think: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 2 = 131d6 + 2 + 3d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 2 + (6, 1, 1) + (2) = 17
He misses the jittery wererat as it scrambles around though.
Blahhhhh
