Elbennon Morosi |

Elbennon follows Aldon and Damien out. "Perhaps we should simply start at the northern end of the docks and work our way south in a systematic fashion, canvassing the common folk as we go. Damien's silver tongue is sure to turn up something."
Each Gather Information check takes 1d4 hours. We keep making them until it's 10 PM or we stop discovering new information. Sound good?

DM Irthos |

The two groups ask questions and make inquires. The halfling and half orc duo get little results, people dont know or dont want to get involved. As for the other three they do get some information, all the victims were taken out of sight, they walked down a dark shortcut or found themselves in an empty room only to disappear. Another common theme is their was never a sign of struggle. Finally the last common theme is only a single victim is claimed a day or night.
You notice a group of people following you around, they are good at blending in. They are professionals at stalking.
Your inquires have not gone unnoticed. You are being followed by a group of people know blend in and out of the crowds with ease. As quickly as you notice them they are aware of your attention and move down the closest alley away from the main streets.

Aldon Longstrider |

Perception 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (15) + 19 = 34
Aldon leans in to his two fellow travellers and tries to look like he's making casual conversation. "We were being followed, but they disappeared down the alleyway back there." He geastures slightly with his head towards the alley

Elbennon Morosi |

Knowledge (Religion) 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27 Are there any churches that fit the profile of one per day, one per night? What about cults?
"The way Genedair was hinting it's unsurprising. Perhaps attempting to confront them would be our best chance at determining their identities? Several hour's work has gotten us nothing but more questions." Elbennon mutters back, keeping his posture relaxed and his gaze away from the alley.

Damien Miles |

perception check:1d20 + 30 ⇒ (19) + 30 = 49
"I see them. The people following us ducked down an alley. The victims were also taken out of sight. It seems like a trap to me. Elbennon can you look down the alley without us actually having to go into the ally? I can toss a sunrod in there to provide some light."

Kal the Giant |

Kal just assists Bungo if possible, pointing ou anything he sees as well. Kal only has crush information from the enemy...so no help to Bungo there :)
perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
perception 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 that's 3 assists, too bad I wasted all of those good rolls...

Kal the Giant |

Kal shakes his head...you know the man to be a little dense but has seemed to have a lot of street smarts in the past, We should find the others and coordinate finding why someone is following us.
You also know that if you throw a lot of details at the brute he has a tendency to agree...
Just an FYI, I am trying to add a little depth to an 8 INT fighter...so I will probably throw up some of this stuff periodically since we are supposed to know each other.

Bungo Brockhouse |

Or, and this is just an idea, or we can go around the corner, I can disappear and you can go around the next corner. Then when they hurry to catch up, I can get a good look them, and maybe grab one. If they are to close I will not do anything except look. You just stand right behind the second corner so you can hear me. I will join you if I do not yell for you. How does that sound.

Bungo Brockhouse |

[b]Ok, let's go[b]
I want us to duck down an alley or around a corner and then Bungo will turn invisable, while Kal keeps going and rounds the next corner.
Spend a ki to turn invisable once around the corner and out of site of the tails. Ducking into an out of the way corner where I will not be stepped on.
Stealth 1d20 + 24 + 40 ⇒ (16) + 24 + 40 = 80 + 4 per round after the first from No Trace
@Irthos, if can discribe where we are, that would be great

DM Irthos |

The stalkers notice the change in you. They retreat down a side street and out of sight. They dont seem to move with the same disinterest they appeared to have earlier.
Edit-
You notice one of the stalkers speaking to another before they retreat down the side street. The speaker is less armored then the others.

Elbennon Morosi |

Elbennon takes Damien and Aldon each by the arm and mutters a few short arcane phrases, before nodding his head down in a cutting like motion. The air in front of them splits open and on the other side is a rooftop, Elbennon pulls them swiftly through. They are now on a roof overlooking the alley below where their tail turned and hid.
Cast Dimension Door. I have an 800 ft. range, I'll aim us for a rooftop further down the alley in the direction the guy was going.

Aldon Longstrider |

Aldon begins dashing after them on top of the rooftop. He grabs out his bow and pulls out an arrow, knocks it in a blur, and fires it, aiming for the leg on one of the individuals.
Called Shot to Leg 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (14) + 23 = 37 Apply any negatives for range and for the called shot

DM Irthos |

@Bungo
You were trying to lure them and they retreated instead, unless you have superior speed your not going to close any distance. Also your invisibility only last a round so your visible now.
@Aldon
Making a called shot takes a full round action, you cant chase them and do it. Be aware that penalties are doubled for called shots, just a reminder ;)

Bungo Brockhouse |

My invisibility last 12 rounds
