Whenever anyone gets the chance, would you mind moving your tokens on the map to indicate where your character is? It just helps me out a bit since I don't have to make any assumptions about where your characters are, and it makes the transition into combat (totally not happening anytime soon <_<) a little bit smoother. Also gives me an idea of what areas to reveal, or where to push us toward when things slow down a bit.
Of course, I say this with the assumptions that there's nothing wrong with the map. Let me know!

Mahorf, is it possible to use the qinggong power Ki Arrow with shuriken rather than throwing arrows? I feel like that would be a better fit. I might end up going Ki Metabolism if not.

I have set my macros to always assume I am using Merciful, so I have 1d6 extra damage, and then a +1 on bladed weapons due to my merciful trait.
When we get to 5th level, I'll also get Flaming from my archetype, so I'll be doing Flaming and Merciful damage!

Thurrios the Forgiving |

GM, another issue for me for whenever we reach 5th will be the discussion I brought up previously about the lack of a Power Attack, Piranha Strike, or Deadly Aim type feat for someone who is using a scimitar Dervish style.

Anapa Scion of Anubis |

Just quickly letting you know. will be busy from today till later this weekend. We are getting a kitten(Siberian), which wasn't due to happen till almost the end of the year. Change of plans made it possible to get him sooner. So today and we are getting ready to receive him, and tomorrow we fetch him.
=^^= so very excited
Will post during the weekend when i can

Well, the idea is to have the 13 Strength to qualify for Power Attack to begin with. :P
That being said, I don't have any problems with Piranha Strike working with Dervish Dance.

Thurrios the Forgiving |

Bring it on...
Plenty of examples in Earth history of two individuals holding the same religious book (Bible, Torah, Koran, etc) and calling one another heretics.
To follow up on this:
Thurrios has exactly 1 skill point in Knowledge(religion). He is not intended, or expected, to be a great theologian. For that matter, to be a proper Inquisitor, I figure there are two ways to fulfill the job:
1) Know everything and everything there is to know about religions, yours and theirs, so that you can make cogent arguments, for and against specifics.
2) Know just enough to be dangerous.
Thurrios is taking the second path.

Mahorfeus |

Julius' argument is that Thurrios should at least know that healing is a part of his goddess' portfolio, even if it is not an area of his concern. The way Thurrios spoke in that particular moment made it sound like he was speaking for Sarenrae. Of course, it is quite possible that Thurrios is ignorant or dismissive of the Dawnflower's more benevolent aspects.
As an inquisitor, rooting out the enemies of the church and bathing them in holy fire is much higher on your priorities list anyway. :P

Thurrios' belief is that healing isn't Sarenrae's biggest interest. If it was, it would naturally be his own biggest interest. And since it isn't, clearly it's not.

Because you asked me, Mahorfeus, the NPC they presented stats and info for in the Song of Silver special article is....*drumroll*
Garavel!
I know, I was a little surprised as well. But it gives info for him and I assume more suggestions for how to use him as a recurring NPC, but I didn't read it in case of spoilers.

Here's a bit of a breakdown of some stuff you all may or may not remember - I know the game's been slow, so I can't really blame anyone for forgetting. I'll leave out the entire quest with Haidar, since that was more of a side trek.

Anapa Scion of Anubis |

Thanks for recap... and no updates.... sigh.

No updates?...what?
That's a very confusing comment. We're posting and have been talking about our plan now that we are inside and learning about how everything works in the Battle Market.
What update are you needing/waiting for before you join into the discussion?

Anapa Scion of Anubis |

There was no update on my side. No "15000 new messages" :P

Anapa Scion of Anubis |

Sorry if my game has been lacking. been working since last week, over a long weekend. and now it seems i may work till saturday. so im very tired. le sigh

Thurrios the Forgiving |

Ok, so the annual family get together is next week. We head out Saturday morning, and I may not have connectivity again until the following Sunday or Monday (24/25), at which time I'll be ready to kick some butt!

Mahorfeus |

Sorry, guys. It has been a long time coming, but I think that it is about time that I make this official - I am closing the curtain on this adventure.
To put it lightly, my posting in this game has always been spotty, not out of a lack of time or ability, but out of a total lack of enthusiasm. For quite a while now, I've only been updating this game out of some misguided sense of obligation toward everyone.
I wanted a really character- and story-driven game, but that's not an expectation I really set forth when I first recruited players. I did not make that clear to most of my replacement recruits, either. By forcing the game to go on, I feel like I am just disappointing myself.
I am sorry for leaving you all with such an anticlimax - I initially wanted to at least get through Book One. But I think it is for the best that I just end things here.

Anapa Scion of Anubis |

Thanks for letting us know =^^=
