I apologize for my complete lack of communication. These last few weeks I have been struggling creatively. I haven't been "hearing" my character's voice. I keep thinking "tomorrow" will be different, and so I talk myself out of posting even a comment in discussion.
I intend to get back into the mix and be regular. Sorry for the delay...

All right, folks. This is really embarrassing, it's been almost three weeks since I last updated. I finally got around to fixing the next map last night... the fact that it barely took an hour is even more embarrassing. I figure that it's a motivational thing, but it should not have taken me so long to get around to. And so I apologize for that.
I understand some of you lead very busy lives, but if I still have your attention, I am very much willing and able to move us forward.
Since I've taken my sweet time updating, don't be afraid to ask for any information you need to get back up to speed.

Good luck, you'll need it!

When you say, "checking in", it leads me to think you're unaware the game has been ongoing, and we have been posting. If your notifications aren't showing new posts, that could lead you to think nothing is happening!
Anyway, enjoy your nuptials and any accompanying honeymoon! We'll just keep botting you. ;-D

Congratulations Anapa, and best of luck. :)
As Julius insinuates, once the craziness of the married life settles down a bit, I very much hope that you can join us here more frequently. Not that I am one to talk, as of late. As we approach the holiday season, I'm afraid I've gotten a bit busy lazy - I blame it on the turkey.
It's kind of sad, but I should note that one of my resolutions for 2016 is to get us through the rest of Howl of the Carrion King; believe it or not, once this little side trek is over, the end of the book is actually close in sight for you guys, and I'm very interested in seeing how it all plays out.

Thanks all. Yes. Will join in again. I want to make sure you stay alive for the end :P

Congratulations, Mr Married Man :D

You know, when I first decided to create a Nethys-worshiping vanilla Arcanist, I never expected there to be a Nethys based temple in this AP! I actually looked up the name of the temple on the pathfinder wikia just to know if this was actually in Howl of the Carrion King or is some kind of extra Mahorfeus added. Kind of crazy the chances!
I hope Julius' inane arcano-talk doesn't turn you guys off. I can't really imagine him not acting and talking this way here in the belly of what you could say is his pride and joy dream come true all at once.
Anyway, enjoy your trip, Thurrios!

I believe as far as buffs, Anapa still has Ruika's Warding +2 to AC & Saves until he fails/is hit. And she's used her healing Hex on a couple of you guys.... so try not to get bashed by whatever's through the doorway.
;)

So, it's been two weeks since the GM has posted in here, although he has been pretty active in his other games.
Any thoughts on declaring this thing dead and getting him to mark it inactive?
Mahorfeus |
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to give the impression that I was gonna just disappear from this game or anything.
I was talking a big game back in December when I said I wanted to get us through Book 1, but to be honest, I have had trouble motivating myself to get even small updates on here for quite a while now. This game's always been slow (less so during combat), but never this slow, and never for such petty reasons. It is enough to make me wonder whether I am even cut out for GMing.
Perhaps against my better judgment, I really don't want to pull the plug on this, if only because I am hoping that I can bounce back... but I understand that not everybody might have the patience to stick around.

I am worse than you with GMíng online, so i am still here :)
Narkû |
I am still around. When I GM, I limit myself to just a couple of games. I would rather the pace stays at a higher level then to slow up my games because I did not prepare them properly.
While I would like to see this game continue, I would understand if you needed to end a couple.
Thurrios the Forgiving |
I certainly prefer playing, to not playing.
I asked the question to start the dialog, and hopefully to stimulate the game. I certainly didn't ask it to call anyone to task, either players or GMs.
My druther would be to keep on, the roleplaying in this game has been awesome.
I especially loved some of the discussions regarding the Pathfinder Society!

We (the good citizens of Virgina and several other mid-Atlantic states) are expecting a monstrous storm, the likes of which we haven't seen since 1922. We're not Buffalo, NY or Denver, CO who get this stuff all the time. This is not the norm for us.
I give it decent odds that we'll lose power, and thus internet, so it may be a few days before I can post.
Fear not, I have stacks of firewood, and the ability to cook over the fire, so we're not going to freeze or starve in my family.
