Hey team! Sorry about the lack of updates - Paizo’s outage unfortunately was combined with some issues here at work and I’m having to put out some fires. I should go back to normal posting next week. Please feel free to bot me!

Doxania |

im here. sorry.
site was still down for me the last few times i checked. Thank you for botting me. :-)

My input:
How we do it now is rather slow and painful. We essentially get one action per day. By moving to block-style initiative, we can get close to 1 round per day.
Players do open themselves to some risk from the perspective that player 1 can post an action (at a lower initiative), then player 2 posts an action (which would be at a higher initiative) and invalidate the previous post player 1. In that situation, we need to either 1) trust GM to recognize the conflict and make minor changes to the posts on behalf of the player or 2) recognize the conflict and go back to asking the player for an updated action if the conflict exists.
In either case, we are no worse off and we get higher game throughput during combat rounds so I think it's a worthwhile improvement.

i agree with Omor, Combat can get slow and tedious in any game, so speeding it up is essential to making things flow nicely.
if they havent responded by now im thinking replace. the site blackout really slowed a lot of games down.
as for classes as long as we get a big melee guy and or someone who can handle traps i think it'll be fine

Jabari Gamal |

Greetings! This is your new warrior, Jabari. He is half-Osiriani, raised in Andoran, and intrigued by the chance to see the Osiriani side of his heritage. He is a powerful combatant and carries his father's khopesh - and along with it, a fragment of his family's guardian spirit.

Jabari Gamal |

Ok team, here's my suggestion.
* Acid is cheaper than alchemist's fire. We take a break from the dungeon to buy, say, 5 flasks of acid (total cost 50 gp, I believe).
* We come back to face the serpent.
* Everyone throws one flask of acid.
* Once the acid's thrown, I wade in and keep whangin' on the thing as hard as I can. You guys can try to hit it with acid splash spells or ranged attacks or whatnot. If someone can flank with me that would also be great.
Sounds good?

Aya_Daijaen |

Im game for that plan. Im not certain 4 flasks we have is enough and id rather be safe than sorry

I have updated the loot sheet so it has everything I think we found. If anybody discovers I'm missing something, please add it.
Omor *Really* wants to keep the onyx and silver holy symbol of Pharasma. He'll get bent out of shape if the party tries to sell that item but everything else is negotiable.
Outside that, Omor would use a bottle or two of Alchemist's fire, the potion of lesser restoration, and one of the bows. He'd also use the metal shield but recognizes that Jabari makes better use of it and won't stand in the way of a melee oriented person keeping the shield.
I do feel like we should keep the Akhentepi’s Armour but have no particular interest in actually wearing it.
For other items, take or sell the rest; Omor has little to no interest in anything not mentioned above. I can whip up a total once we agree on distribution.

Idichi Kaburi |

Can those sealed chests be unlocked with disable device because I can attempt to unlock those. I'll take Akhentepi's Armour if no one else wants it. If you don't mind Omor I'd like the short bow. The rest I'm ok with selling or someone else taking.

Omor Al'Jamous |

Totally cool with you keeping the shortbow, Idichi. It's noted as needing a string so there is probably some small cost in getting it functional. Jabari - Do you want the longbow? I'll take a backseat to you on that if you are going to use it.
Also good with you taking the Armor. I'm betting it will be important later in the story so keep it in your backpack if you upgrade..

Aya_Daijaen |

Perfectly fine with you guys having those, they're useless to me. It also came with 10 cold iron arrows, also likely useful for a future fight.
Also fine with omor having the pharasma symbol.
Ill total up the remaining gold today and we can distribute

Jabari Gamal |

The armor's really, really bad. Really bad. I would never wear it unless I had nothing else. Getting a marginally better initiative once per day is not worth the price of a terrible AC on a front-line fighter.
I can live without the longbow. Ranged combat isn't my strength and I have javelins for moderately ranged combat. The bow is better in the hands of someone with a good Dexterity.

Omor Al'Jamous |

OK, so here is what I have so far:
604 GP and 2 SP in loose coin
2957 GP in goods we need to sell (assuming we get half value?)
1 set of books with gold plated pages that needs appraised
Then in terms of people who get items to use
Aya:
- $$ only
Idichi:
- Composite Shortbow
- 5x cold iron arrows
- Akhentempi's Armor
Jabari:
- Alchemist's fire
Omor:
- Holy symbol of Pharasma
- MW Longbow
- 5x cold iron arrows
- Potion of Lesser Restoration
- Scarab shaped steel shield
Does everybody's math agree?

A couple of things here before we get too far into the next dungeon:
- I'm not sure if GM's mention of the auction is a subtle way of telling us to hold on to all the treasure and sell it later or not. Do we have a place to store things? In theory, we have rooms in the inn but we havn't really established if it is private, rooms, common room, how secure we think the area is, etc...
- Omor is going to use the metal shield but has no idea what it is about other than being magical. I need some insight into what to do about weight, ac, and the like (or tell me I need to use it in combat once or twice first).
- I would like to do a bit of shopping before we dive in. Omor just needs a few minor items like a blunt melee weapon, a quiver, exta arrows, and the like. Do we want to RP this or can I just buy/sell?
- Need to some of the items above decided on before we open the door to the house of penthru
