Aeronniell stays mostly near the back of the party, her eyes trained ahead for signs of more lizards. She grips her bow tightly and tries to hope for the best for Lavinia.

You can easily follow the fleeing lizardman's blood trail heading north, as you enter the ballroom. You know to the north lies a private dining hall and stairs leading to the second floor. As you about to head north, Baolo's keen eyes notice to the west, past another set of glass doors, in the courtyard human and lizardfolk bodies near the pond dotted with water lillies. It is clear this was the scene of a battle, perhaps between the manor's defenders and the lizardfolk invaders. Baolo also hears shouts and screams from upstairs and he swore he heard a female voice. He also hears male shouts from the west, though he can't make out the words.

Which way? North or west or some other way?

Sorry for long delay.

You follow the trail of blood into the dining room, where you see it goes up the stairs. As you are about to follow, Ialda hears movement outside from the courtyard and she moves to the open door in the room and she sees a black lizardfolk wielding a greatclub, who is obviously the leader of the tribe, and currently 15' tall! He is flanked by 2 more lizardfolk to the north and three lizardfolk to the south.

From up the stairs, you hear Lavinia's scream of help, followed by a rough voice saying "Keep that whore quiet and buff me. I'll take out herr rescuers, just like we killed the Ravens. Come up, come up, and ol' Devorax will cut yer heads off!" You hear divine casting from upstairs.

You heard the casting of Shield of Faith.

Party is up first. In the current room you are in, you can only see into the courtyard through the door. The room to the south has windows into the courtyard. The stairs are difficult terrain. Let me know what you do.

Non-blinded lizardman in G7 moves up and throws a handaxe at Ialda, but since she is not raging and in control of her senses, she dodges the weapon at the last second!

The lizardman in J7 moves up and also throws a handaxe at Ialda, which also misses!

Hoping she's helped Ialda enough, she withdraws deeper into the room to stand near Baolo (to his left at K,15) where she recognizes the name of the captain's first mate.

"Drevoraz! At last! Your captain sent us! Call off these lizardfolk before anyone else is harmed!"

Both of Baolo's arrows hit, the first piercing the lizardman's eye, killing him instantly, the second catching the half-orc pirate in the shoulder.

Devoraz cries out in pain, as the arrows digs in his skin! "Aaargh! Why you damn native?! You're going to pay for that!" He steps to K16, smiles wickedly, and swings his scimitar horizontally at Aero opting for accuracy rather than power, trying to kill 2 birds with one stone! His sword blow is too fast for Aero to dodge, and the blade cuts deep across her chest, as she falls! The blade continues its trajectory into Baolo's shoulder, delivering a solid cut to the Mwangi!
