Emmanuel bids goodbye to the River Kingdoms and its lovely clientele. He grooms his hair, checks his armor, straps his lute and coils his whip at his hip.

He arrivess at the port of Anthusis and says hello and greetings to everyone he meets. It's a lot easier to read people's emotions, understand their thoughts and say the right words to get what he needs. Nice. Shylye's tips have helped him out. She still wears too much jewelry, even if it's a "negotiation aid."
Oh well, time to meet with Mirian Raas.

Just as a heads up, I expect my posts to be limited until next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US. Even with the anticipated delays or limited posts this week, I anticipate that we will wrap up the scenario around mid-December.

I started out submitting to open calls for contributors way back during the d20 Boom. I contributed a number of magic items and monsters to the Scarred Lands setting. One of my monster, the Unholy Chorus, even made it into the first (and only) volumes of Monte Cook Presents: The Year's Best d20 and can be seen on the lower righthand corner of the cover. I also wrote fairly regularly for Fantasy Flight games in the early 2000s.
Then, came a law career and three kids.
About few years back, I submitted to Paizo's open call for PFS scenarios. That eventually led to my first quest, "Collection".
That was followed last year by The Burden of Envy.
I joined Freelance Forge after my quest with Paizo was published. They are a great group of folks and have helped me get to know people in the industry and build friendships.

I also really recommend submitting to Wayfinder when they are accepting articles. It's another great way to get started.
Everyone in Freelance Forge is really great, and I'm sure would be able to offer lots of advice and support.
If you are interested in continuing, I'd also reach out to 3PP companies. They are often looking for new talent with a few publications under their belts.
