With the caltrops cleared, Baldrek moves towards the bugbear, taking care to leave a clear path for the dwarf.

"Time to thank you for that arrow..."

Baldrek then attacks with a mighty over-head movement.

The bloodthirsty dwarf moves forward methodically. He doesn't charge in blind, but picks every step with careful thought. The quiet before the storm, he strides triumphantly up to the hobgoblin, shield readied, and axe ready to sever limbs.

Oops, was it my turn again?

Mary ascends the stairs. Seeing the bugbear, she declares the bugbear's demise today.

I think that puts Baldrek at -5 hp... do you prefer for him to roll stabilize checks at a round by round pace, or run a bunch to speed things up and determiner in which round he will stabilize without help?

Meurasod continues his bloodrage and swings his war axe right for the bugbear's midsection. Goblins were one thing, but the bigger goblinoids drove Meurasod to slaughter. There is a bloody, oversized, bugbear-stinking leather armor No real value, a strong looking bow, a morning star, a purse heavy with some gold 124 GP, 3 gems of indefinite value, and a strange looking ring on one of Grulk's fingers.

Zurka gathers up the gear from the dying bugbear. He hands the bow to Aralu. "This will suit you well I think."

He fingers the ring thoughtfully. "This may have magical properties. " He hands the ring to Mary. "Examine this ring...please."

Slides Innkeeper and storyteller.

Mary takes the handed ring from Zurka.

Mary:
It's magical! It's a ring of feather falling. It feels well lighter than it should. As for the gems, you're not sure.. maybe around 80 Gp each?

Slides Innkeeper and storyteller.

Mary studied the fine details on the ring, while observing the magical signatures carefully.
A small smile shows on her face.

"Nice, a ring that softens one's fall. While it's not an encouragement to deliberately do so, this ring makes sure you take little to no harm from a fall."

Holding up a pretty gem, you wonder what shines more, the gem itself or her eyes as she looks at them.
"I guess these could sell for, hmm, 80gp a piece?"

The long term care might work, since on the following day Mary would be able to use her power on him once more!
