Prazil
Prazil nods, "Well, we am here now and you am not needing to be for worrying about skellington with shinies for eyes. We am for taking care of him!" Prazil puffs his chest out at this, his knightly bravery not the least bit subdued by his weakened condition. "Prazil am my name, by the way. This am Kereek, and Agnar, and Kat. You am for meeting Spike and Fang later. They am not good swimmers and am back at front."
Katerina the Maid
A bit exasperated, Kat says, "Looks like Kereek can use his spell to get Xamanthe out of here." She turns to the kobold and asks him, "Can you bring Fang back with you?" Even if he can't, at least Xamanthe will be safe - that much we can finish.
Katerina the Maid
Katerina smiles at Agnar and his wolf's friendship, How close are they that each matters so much? Then she turns her attention back to the day's work. "Was there a stairway that led away from where we found Xamanthe? or do we want to clear this level first?"
Prazil
Prazil shrugs. "Prazil am thinking we should be for finding scary skellington with shiny eye as quick as possible. Him am sounding like trouble. Prazil am not for knowing which way to go to find him though." The brave kobold's shoulders droop with this admission and he sighs as he leans forward on his shield. Though he won't admit it or complain, the little kobold still looks terribly drained from the previous day's struggles.

The doors don't appear to be locked or trapped, and you enter into a room with walls composed of burial alcoves.
Two creatures like the one that nearly killed Kereek on the trail through the mountains to the tomb -- elongated and deathly pallid arms protruding from their smoky bodies -- float near the central pillars. They quickly move to attack as you enter the room.

Earlier
Prazil shudders as Agnar's magics flow through him, lifting the coldness he'd felt since the lobster monster had struck him. "Whoaahaa! Agnar! Prazil am for feeling much better now!" With a bright grin, the kobold gives the gruff Erastilian priest a hug before tromping off to the front of the group with some noticable pep in his scaled steps.
Now
Prazil's steps stall as the nasty smoke creatures come into view. "Ack! We am seeing those things before! Be careful, Kereek!"

These things! Katerina gives quick shout, "Beware!" and bolts into action, her sword moving as one with her. That slashing steel cuts the vaporous creature and pulls smoke out and away from it, making it less substantial.

Katerina rushes forward, her swords flashing as it cuts through the creature's misty form. Despite stabbing through its center, there's little feel of resistance, and she thinks she might as well have cut its "tail" as anywhere else. It's immune to crits, though it did take regular damage from the attack.
Her blade continues to flash as she whirls it in a circle of protection, knocking aside the ashen creature's claws before either can scratch her. Her counter blows slash through it in whiplike fashion, and almost as quickly as it struck, it disappears in a burst of smoke. Wow.
The other closes in, and Katerina's guard finally fails, as first one claw and then the second lashes her. The scratches themselves are minor 7 hp, but she can feel a chill flow through her at their touch. DC 17 Fort save or take 4 Wisdom damage; then DC 17 Forst save or take 6 Wisdom damage

As Katerina slumps to the ground, Kereek blasts the creature with fire, though his second gout misses as it curls into itself. Agnar's spectral arrow skitters past it as Prazil rushes forward, his hammer splashing through it.
To the kobold's horror, the creature leans down, what passes for its head lingering near Katerina's mouth and pulling an ephemeral white substance from her. The blonde woman takes a last gasping breath and then falls still, her chest no longer rising as she suddenly ceases breathing. Prazil can take an AoO; need another DC 17 Fort save from Katerina. And the party is up.
