Sorry all, I haven't really had much time to post this weekend. I'm heavily involved in local politics and have been busy this past week in a final GOTV push. I'm also running for local office and have been busy campaigning as well. With election day today I'm going to be in and out all morning so probably won't be able to post until later this evening.

Thanks, James. I've come to realize that Schaumburg Township is socially liberal but fiscally conservative. That is why it votes Democratic in national and statewide contests but skews very heavily Republican in local and municipal elections.

That seems to be the case in a lot of places. Things might be easier if politics weren't so polarized.

Hey guys, I think we might be having a little confusion with combat.
Just to make sure it's clear, I've been trying to get it so that the antagonists go last each round, so that way you can all react to whatever they do instead of posting some of your actions without knowing what they're going to be doing.
However, that means we may be having a couple round 1s, basically. I'm having everyone who gets higher initiative than the antagonists go in round 1, then doing a full round 1 with everyone going (which means anyone who goes in Round 1 before the antagonists gets two Round 1s).
I'm not sure if I'm being clear about what I'm looking for, so please holler if there's any confusion...
The reason that I preposted my round 2 action is that it doesn't (or shouldn't...) have any impact on the rest, and because didn't know if an update would appear before I was unable to post again, thus holding up the round.
A belated congratulations, Jeff. Maybe I'll throw a scroll of Portal Jaunt in my RL campaign.

Guys, I'm a little frustrated, as I am serious about trying to get our posting frequency up here. I know it was the weekend, but only one person posted. If you're not going to be available, I understand, but please let me know. If you're losing interest or something else is going on, please let me know that too, though, and we'll see what we can do.
I've come to believe momentum is critical on PBPs (and honestly, probably RL gaming too, for that matter) so if we're losing it, I consider that a big problem.
Kereek's still here! Weekends tend to be slower for me, as I'm usually not near a computer and Sunday evenings are my Virtual Table Top/Real Life games, so I tend to devote some time to prepping for that. I'll try to be a little more peppy with my posting on the weekends, though! I definitely dig this game and want it to continue!
Weekends are generally family time with my wife and daughter. If I have anytime to post it's usually in the morning hours before either of them wake up. After that it's sporting events and girl scout outings and other family related stuff.
Also, to give everyone a heads up I'm going to be out of town until Thursday. My sister called me this morning too tell me that my Mother passed early this morning. I'm currently making arrangements to head down to Florida and won't be back until after the internment on Wednesday. So go ahead and 'bot me if you need to.
Of course, Orin, will do. My condolences on the loss of your mother, obviously. Take as much time as you need.

Re: the posting. I try to post at least once a day but sometimes inspiration wanes and I can't think of something for Treshiell to say (Silvio is easier. With him I just think of an the italian outrageous, do some dramatic hand gestures and then write down the first egoistic though that comes into my head). There are also days where I come home late and don't have the time to post.
I haven't been all that happy with how I've portrayed Treshiell as of late.

My apologies to your players. It's definitely one of the things I enjoy about running these mods -- I tend toward human bad guys in my encounters, but this, the gibbering mouther and basilisk I recently ran make me really appreciate what a fun monster can do.
That said, I really hope Orin makes the saves, as it's a pain in the ass to have him at lower level when we're not using XP.
And the negative levels affect his saves against the negative levels turning permanent?! That's deviously awesome.
I'll have to save this particular bullet for a little while though. I'm running my RL group through Shackled City, and they haven't realized it yet, but at the end of the last session, the oracle got bit by Tongueeater (a werebaboon, for those unfamiliar) and failed his fort save. They've gotten filth fever about a dozen times each throughout the campaign so far and it seems they just assumed the fort save was vs filth fever again. Come the next full moon, they will learn the unfortunate truth! AAAAAhahahahahaha!

I can get a bear's endurance prepared for you for the 'morrow. Also, edging into the cheesy, I can cast resistance on you every minute of the day until the time you have to make your saves.
The ward from Treshiell will add a +2, as well.
