With a good push, Bahir opens the door with ease. A layer of thick dust covers the otherwise modest furniture and adornments of this room. A few large lounge chairs lay flipped over and paintings have been torn from the wall as well. This room appears as though it was searched, though the dust would indicate that it was some time ago.

  • Pae: Pae seizes his chance to rush into the room as well, and is annoyed at not having a proper weapon to deal with skeletons. He deftly thrusts his rapier into the skeleton, hitting only the air between its bones. (miss)

  • Pae: Pae, meanwhile, circles around one of the other (blue) skeletons to get a flank with Bahir and attacks with his rapier. Pae manages to find a more critical spot this time as he hits the skeletons directly on its backbone. (AC28 on blue, hit for 24 dmg; some dmg negated by DR)
  • Efreat: The red skeleton crumbles to a pile of bone just as Efreat is about to zap it with his wand of magic missile. He instead targets the one directly in front of Mah’ysa. (17 dmg on green)
  • Mah’ysa: Mah’ysa calls upon Sarenrae again, "Behold the Gaze of the Dawnflower!", and unleashes another wave of holy, positive energy against the skeletons. While one of the skeletons manages to dodge the full effect of the positive energy wave, all three crumple to the ground in a pile of bones from the damage taken. (remaining skeletons destroyed)

Everyone except Bahir immediately becomes filled with a sense of danger as they become aware of an invisible creature suddenly making its way into their midst. Only Efreat can see it clearly. "Look out!" he shouts in warning as he points out its general location to the rest of the party.

In response, Pae rushes to take defensive cover behind one of the overturned large chairs. ”Gozreh’s teeth! Show yourself”, Haz’reem calls out, while Mah’ysa turns her head and warns, ”"Did anyone see that? I think... something's in here with us!". Mah’ysa then casts Sanctuary on herself.

With a calm, malevolent tone the creature call outs, ”A shame about my guard dogs. No bother, you will do nicely. Except for the pretty sheila over there”, he says pointing to Mah’ysa, ”You will do nicely as the first in my new Harem”. The room then suddenly explodes into storm of metal, wood, mineral, and other debris, painfully pummeling the group like a terrible hailstorm.

Everyone (except Iavesk) must make a Reflex save (DC 25). 43 damage on a failed save; 21 damage on a successful save. Pae and Efreat get a +2 bonus on the Reflex save.

After the rain of debris ends, the creature is visible in the room. This monstrous horned creature stands likely some 13 feet tall and wields a massive blade, likely a falchion. Multiple images dance about him, making it hard to figure out exactly which is the real creature.

Memrach is surely a Div of some sort, though you cannot recall which type of Div he would be. Divs are fairly rare creatures native to Abbadon and few mortals who have encountered them have lived to recall their findings.

Hazreem, you lost frostbite when you cast Lesser Restoration on Iavesk. Sorry, I just forgot to remove it from the conditions.
Also, to avoid any confusion in the future, let me know if you are going to purposefully not touch anything while holding a charge between encounters. The held charges would discharge whenever anything was touched normally, and even if you hadn't cast another spell you would have also had to not touch anything during the last hour and a half or so.

Sorry for the delay, missed that it was my turn.

The paladin's eyes get a dangerous glint in them, "You will not speak to my betrothed that way. The only thing you'll be enjoying is the sharp edge of Vardishal in your gut." He raises the scimitar menacingly to emphasize his point and unleashes a wave of healing energies as he approaches.

Swift action: Use last smite evil on the creature. Move action move up to just within the creatures reach (I am assuming 10' feet, but if only 5' he'll end up next to it). Standard action is to channel positive energy, healing himself, Hazreem, Pae, and Mah'ysa. Creature may get a AOO for channeling within it's reach but my AC is 36 to him if he is evil.

  • After dodging the ray of disintegration, Efreat unleashes a disintegration ray of his own at Memrach. The ray just misses Memrach, however. (RT AC 13 - miss; looks like you may have forgot both haste and prayer bonuses, but even on a hit the 21 doesn’t bypass SR).
  • Hazreem steps forward and continues his slam assault on Memrach. Despite his fury, focus, and spell enhancements, all 3 attacks are ineffective against Memrach(ACs 25, 30, 26 - all miss)
  • Bahir, offended at the creature’s threats against Mah’ysa, challenges Memrach and smites him with the divine fury of Sarenrae (smite evil active). Bahir then channels positive energy to heal himself, Hazreem, Pae, and Mah'ysa. (17 damage healed)

Memrach defensively casts a spell.(32 on concentration check, pass)
A 20 ft. wide by 40 ft. tall cylinder centered on Efreat’s position erupts into a blinding snowstorm. Great hailstones rain down upon Efreat and Iavesk, causing quite a bit of pain. (No Save; SR applies; 8 bludgeoning + 9 cold = 17 total damage, if take all). Once the initial hailstones fall, the entire area continues to be filled with a raging snowstorm hampering perception and movement. (-4 to Perception checks, ground is difficult terrain; area outlined in blue on the map) "Stay for a bit, won't you?", Memrach adds with a look of satisfaction about him.

Spellcraft DC 19:
Ice Storm; after initial damage, the entire area is affected with a heavy snowstorm with –4 penalty on Perception skill checks and the area is treated as difficult terrain. This will last a number of rounds equal to the creatures caster level. (No movement effect on flying creatures as best that I can tell from the rules, which is weird for a "heavy snowstorm".)

Hazreem lowers his fists as he realized Bahir is their best option of driving off Memrach. He slips a wand out of his belt and touches Bahir with it. As the paladin feels strength flow into his body, Hazreem adds, "Strike true, my friend. My blows have no effect on it."

Use Wand of Bull's Strength on Bahir. Bahir gets a +4 to STR. (3 charges remain).
