Vallterra
Terra is patient listening for the slightest sound from the other ninja. she can sense his location. as she moves toward him.
ranged attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Terra hurls a boulder in his direction hoping to flush him into the open.
also known as cover up for a miss
EDIT attacking, and missing, E
Gashka
Walking carefully across the roof, Gashka comes to a stop in front of the other dwarf, then immediately jabs at him with a fist.
unarmed strike: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Boot to da Head!: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
GM Scary Ceiling Voice
Like a spider, Anyka scrambled up the wall and onto the roof. Tossing a rock in the direction the arrow came from, Terra could hear the rusling of leaves and branches as it flew. Stunned from seeing his companion from go so quickly, the remaining Dwarf didn't see Gashka's punch, until it hit him in the gut. Quickly recovering with rage in his eyes, the dark clothed figure drew his weapons and slashed at the Half-Orc almost faster than anyone could see.
Melee 1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Melee 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
His aim was off however, and he missed.
Round 1:
Ninja (E), Flynt, Anyka, Terra, Gashka, Jin, Ninja (D), Tikkle
Gashka
Hey Tikkle...this guy just tried to cut me...it's about time for some of that buckling of swash huh?....hehe. I just love how that sounds, it's funny. I am in such a fantastic mood! Aren't babies just the greatest? Just think, he's only about a year and a half. He was going around carrying one of my 3lb weights in each hand. He was so proud of himself. Hehe
Tikkle
Hoping I can get this in since I wasn't on to respond to the initial Perception
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Ok so when Gashka told me about the roofies, Context! I followed her up onto the roof.
A gymnastic approach: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Tikkle places his blade in his teeth and uses a tree limb to swing up onto the roof, landing in a run to kill the intruders.
Charge!: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 9 + 2 = 28
Confirm: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 9 + 2 = 21
Damage: 2d6 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (3, 2) + 1 + 4 = 10 (precise strike)
btw GM, did you know that I get an additional +2 to initiative so long as I have some panache?
GM Scary Ceiling Voice
@ Tikkle - I did not. *Makes a note*
Tikkle strikes true with his blade as he moves up to Gashka. Piercing the Dwarf's gut, the black clothed figure fell clutching his gut. Between Terra's rock, Gashka's punch, and Tikkle's stab, he was in no condition to fight. Down, but not dead. There you go Gashka, someone to question.
Seeing the two on the roof fall, the one in the tree took aim and fired at Anyka.
Ranged vs Anyka: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
The arrow sails by not even coming close.
Round 2:
Ninja (E), Flynt, Anyka, Terra, Gashka, Jin, Tikkle
Flynt
Flynt fires two shots back at the archer.
Focus, rapid: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 10 - 2 = 9
Focus, rapid: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 10 - 2 = 27
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Speaking of which, I totally forgot my favored terrain bonus here..Oh well.
GM Scary Ceiling Voice
While one arrow stuck in the tree above the archers head, the other embedded itself in her side. While Anyka's dagger was on course, it fell just short of hitting the mark. Thrown Weapons only have a max range of five range increments. You also forgot to include the -2 range penalty per range increment beyond the first.
Round 2:
Ninja (E), Flynt, Anyka, Terra, Gashka, Jin, Tikkle
Tikkle
How far away is the tree?
looks like fifty feet from the house, so sixty from you.
And GM, no worries, I myself only just became aware of that, so I'll try to do better about keeping you apprised of such things. There's now a link to the ACG that I'm using in my headline.pew pew!: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
hurt: 1d8 ⇒ 5
Tikkle sticks Sawa's tip in the roof and pulls up his crossbow, firing a shot at the archer.
Gashka
Hardly able to contain herself, Gashka picks up the dwarf by the front of his clothing and starts to shake him.
"What are you doing here? What did you do to Rose?! Call off your friend in the tree and start talkin or I'll finish you off and go after him next. One of you is bound to talk." A low growl emanates from the back of her throat as she stares into his eyes.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Im hoping this works
Gashka
Sighing, Gashka brings the dwarf close to her so she can whisper to him.
In a voice that's almost pleading she asks him again, Please...if you know something, please tell me. If you're afraid we can help you, just tell me....something, anything....please." She pulls back from him a bit to give him some space, but doesn't let him go.
Yeah....I think I got confused. I was also probably thinking about my Aunt Mary who is on her way to the Hospital in MO that my cousin is in right now. So...my headspace aint real clear right now.
Gashka
Gashka just stands there quietly while she waits for some sign from the dwarf. Either an answer, or an affirmation that he is unable to speak. She watches him closely for any body language that might give her a clue as to what is really going on.
GM Scary Ceiling Voice
Losing sight of everyone as Jin's spell covered both ground target's and her. Despite this, Tikkle's bolt hits its mark. While Gashka gave the Dwarf some room, he collapsed back on the roof, unconscious.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Jin almost didn't see it coming until the last minute. Shifting his hips to one side, the Mage dodged the archers blade.
Round 3:
Ninja (E), Flynt, Anyka, Terra, Gashka, Jin, Tikkle
Gashka
Terra, if I get down next to you, can you use your tremor sense to give me the location of the badguy, or do I need to try and come up with a different plan? Sorry, I got absorbed into an Anime and wasn't paying attention to what was going on. I'm back now. My plan was to jump off the roof and have Anyka either climb down or use acrobatics (if she has that) to jump off as well and come to help you and Jin, while Flynt and Tikkle stay on the roof to guard the unconscious Dwarf and give long range back up.
Gashka
I know it sounds like a crazy plan...but I think with the three of us working as a unit we can do it. We know how each other fights and our capabilities. That's what made me come up with the plan. Let me know what you think, but I think it might work.
It's gonna look so Anime-ish. LOL
Lo'Laan Jin
Jin flips back into the fog and disappears from sight once again.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
A brief chant in the same airy language as before and he calls forth more of his magic.
Cast Burning Disarm + 1 use of Surprise Spells for 1d6 Sneak Attack. Save DC 15 to drop item and take no damage.
Damage: 4d4 + 1d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 1) + (6) = 15
Tikkle
If the fight is still going by the time Tikkle can react, he will jump down to space I6 in his Stylish fashion Translation, using a Derring-do with a Panache point.
Tuck and roll!: 1d20 + 9 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 9 + (6) + (2) = 22 Oh my gersh there was a reason I felt nervous I guess...
Tikkle will not attack, but Sawa is at the ready.
Parry: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 If that is higher than a melee atk against me:
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21 and if that hits normally:
It hurts: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Gashka
Okay...going to attempt the crazy move. I won't be able to get to Terra yet, but maybe I can manage getting off the roof without hurting myself too badly. LOL
Taking a step to the right, Gashka gets a running start and jumps off of the roof of the little house.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
She lands a bit roughly on the ground but tries to break her fall to avoid damage.
Acrobatics to see how much this hurts: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Trying to recover from having the wind knocked out of her from the fall, Gashka tries to stand back up.
Okay....so basically I took a five foot step and then a running start to jump off of the roof coming to a stop in H11. Not sure how much damage I took from that fall...but I'm sure it'll be okay. hehe I'm sure Anyka will be much more graceful than I am.
Gashka
Well....we've all got our particular....umm talents. Hehe Good grief, sometimes I think I'm almost as bad as one of the guys. Shame on me...for shame, for shame.
GM Scary Ceiling Voice
As Flynt readied a shot at the obscured archer, hoping she would appear again, Anyka flipped off the roof and managed to land on her feet before stepping towards the mist.
Anyka's Fall: 1d6 ⇒ 3 Non-Lethal
Round 3:
Ninja (E), Flynt, Anyka, Terra, Gashka (Actions Declared), Jin (Actions Declared), Tikkle (Actions Declared)
Still waiting on Terra's Action. I'll give her until I get home from work today, then I'll bot her.
