Damn, Terra, the dice gods are just not being kind to you.
Terra sensed it as the assailent ducked under the boulder. Almost immidiately after Anyka, Gashka followed suit and lept from the roof. Unlike her sister-in-arms though, she didn't land as softly.
Gashka Non-Lethal: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Gashka Lethal: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Refles vs Burning Disarm: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Soon after Jin tumbled away, she felt the weapon begining to get hot and quickly dropped the weapon.
Tikkle ran to the edge of the roof and leaped off. While in the air, he spun several time before landing in a crouch next to Anyka. Standing up, he readied his blade.
Tikkle Non-Lethal: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Having lost her blade, the archer pulled her bow and with a spin, dropped to one knee and fired an arrow in the direction the stone came from.
Ranged vs Terra: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
<50: 1d100 ⇒ 98
With uncanny accuracy, the arrow hit Terra's shoulder, but it did not hurt at all.
Round 4:
Ninja (E), Flynt, Anyka, Terra, Gashka, Jin, Tikkle

Gashka |

Gashka rubs her aching backside while standing up and runs towards where she last saw Terra.
Full move action to get to L9
Once there, Gashka puts out a hand and whispers, "You still there Terra? Can you tell where they are?"

Lo'Laan Jin |

Forgot to specify which square to tumble to so (P9)
Bow: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 v. Flat-Footed AC.
Damage: 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + (1) = 2 T.T
Jin draws his bow and aim's at their final assailant, his unique eyes allowing him to pierce the magic of the mist.

GM Scary Ceiling Voice |

Whoops, sorry about that Gashka. Corrected.
Jin, I forgot about that feat. With you and Terra working together, you have a very distinct advantage.
Now if only there was a way to launch the bugger into the air so Flynt could get a shot....
Round 4:
Ninja (E), Flynt (Readied Action), Anyka, Terra, Gashka (Actions Declared), Jin (Actions Declared), Tikkle

Gashka |

Putting her hand on Terra's shoulder she leans in closely to whisper, "Is there a way that you can launch them into the air above the mist so Flynt can get a shot at them?"

Gashka |

Gashka shakes her head, "Sorry, I keep forgetting....I don't really see you as any different than the rest of us, so I forget that you don't see like the rest of us."

Tikkle |

I however am outside the mist, how will it work for me to charge this enemy should it be sent airborne? chance of hit or find and pluses or minuses on attacks?
also, remember Tikkle's scent ability, I only have to be within five feet of a creature to pinpoint its location unless they don't smell.

Gashka |

Don't have much time to do anything now cuz I gotta get ready for work. Will check once we get home. The next few days are gonna be kinda hectic because since Brandi had the baby my parents are coming out tomorrow....so....yeah....pretty stressful.

Anyka Talia |

Hmm....Darkvision, Tremorsense, Seeing through clouds and smoke..awesome array of talents there...definitely taking blind fighting
As the third ninja is tossed into the air Anyka takes a step forward, tossing a dagger from the edge of the cloud. While not even close to hitting she hope her movement draws the airborne opponent to Flynt's attention.
1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 6 - 4 = 10
1d4 ⇒ 1

GM Scary Ceiling Voice |

I'm going to rule that as a ready action. Just for simplicity sake.
Anyka waited for a hint at the ninja's location. Gashka called out and suggested Terra launch the assailant into the air.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Terra thrust the ground upwards, but the nimble ninja managed to not get thrown. While Gashka moved into the mist to check on Terra, Jin pulled his bow and fired a grazing shot at the dark figure.
Tikkle headed into the mist and followed his nose to the ninja.
Tikkle Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
<20: 1d100 ⇒ 75
Tikkle Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Reaching the dark figure, the pirate stabbed her in the side with his rapier.
Quickly, the ninja stepped back and fired and arrow at Tikkle...
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
...but it missed, if just barely.
Round 5:
Ninja (E), Flynt, Anyka, Terra, Gashka, Jin, Tikkle

Tikkle |

sorry, but I have a precise strike ability that adds my level to damage :o) so plus four plz!

Tikkle |

WOO! Captain Tikkle FTW!

Tikkle |

"If she is, her heart is on the wrong side of 'er chest. Don't leave the other one alone up there, blondie!"
Tikkle walks out of the mist, tripping over a root and falling on his face.

Gashka |

"Yeah....I want that one for questioning. One way or another we are going to have some answers. Jin, get rid of this infernal cloud so I can see again." She laughs slightly while calling out to the others.
Does the cloud dissipate as combat is over, or does he have to dispel it?

Gashka |

Climb back up? I didn't see where you had climbed down....I thought you were firing from the roof. All I know is we gotta lotta major kick ass people in our little group. Gashka's just good for the intimidation factor, just call me "The Enforcer". LOL

Lo'Laan Jin |

With the treat threat taken care of Jin flicks the wand around the mist causing it to dissipate.
"This infernal cloud happens to quite handy in combat so if we continue to find people who wan't to kill us then you'd better get used to it." Jin replies.

Gashka |

Gashka just smiles and sticks her tongue out at Jin...."Okay okay....sheesh aren't you the touchy one? Yes sir, I'll do better next time sir. I know the situation isn't really funny....it's just how I deal, you know that. I was just being my usual b*~$$y self....I didn't mean anything by it."
Gashka just shakes her head at herself, not realizing that such a flippant remark could have such an effect on her friend. She did that alot, just spout off at the mouth without thinking. It's usually what had been getting her in the most trouble lately....especially at home. With the nightmares becoming more frequent, and the feeling of imminent danger getting stronger....she just didn't know how else to deal with everything. She didn't mean to upset people, it just seemed to happen. I should just learn to keep my mouth shut, she chastises herself.
Walking over to the body she bends down to examine it.
Checking to see if they are truly expired, checking for obvious signs...breathing, heart beat, ect.

Lo'Laan Jin |

The Mage chuckles at Gashka as he peers around the home searching for more would be assassins before checking their bodies for magical remnants. "All I meant was that I use that strategy often so your likely to see it again, and learning how to handle the fog would be beneficial. I find it to be effective against archers especially." Jin says.
Detect Magic

Gashka |

Gashka puts up her hands in surrender, "Gods! NO one is arguing okay? It's very tense and this is how I deal with it. I'll just shut up and not say anything anymore okay? Except that I was right and a normal question and answer session won't work here. They can't speak, their vocal chords have been severed." She gets up and walks back towards the house, "Flynt, toss that other one down here...I plan on waking him up."

Gashka |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

"We can still ask him questions, they just have to be yes and no questions. Just because his vocal chords were cut, don't mean his head don't work. He can nod and shake his head....if...he's willing to cooperate. We'll search the bodies for clues as well....I'll take this one inside for questioning. It may require some....privacy." She picks up the dwarf and hauls him into the house, shutting the door with an audible "click" behind her.
