Terra was still sitting by the fireplace at the tavern waiting for her sister to join her, wondering where everyone went.
eventually she has some food.
Jin finds a place near his blind acquaintance and tries to pass the time with small talk. "Is it always this lively around here?"
"He left shortly after you. Let's head back and see what we can gather as a proper crew. maybe we can at least agree what island to maroon him on..."
With that, Tikkle puts his arm around Gashka and stows the dagger in his coat. He entertains her with anecdotes from the sea as they walk back to the bar.
Terra does not look up at Jin but knew of his presence.
not usually, only when I am here at the same time as a particular bald elf. that is when things get interesting
Terra reaches to her arm and touches it meet back at the tavern I believe we have things to discuss. she whispers to her sisters.
With time to calm down Anyka walk over towards the fireplace, sitting next to Terra b]"Gashka should be back in a few minutes, Tikkle went to get her, he can always make her laugh. Sorry things got out of hand. "[/b]
Nodding to a voice that only she can hear, Gashka walks back into the Tavern with Tikkle. Relief at not having to deal with Mr. Psycho, her features seem to relax a little as she goes with Tikkle to join the others.
She looks at her sisters somewhat sheepishly, "Sorry for the leaving...I just needed a minute....away." Producing the note she hands it to Anyka. Nodding toward the piece of paper she addresses the rest of them, "That was sent into a tree next to me while I was outside. Couldn't see anyone around, so I don't know who sent it....but, we know what it's about." Gashka then tells Terra what was in the note since she can't read it with the others.
Flynt finishes his food and goes over to the others. "How'd you get the note?"
She lets the others pass the note around and points out the strange marking on it that looks like a coat of arms and describes it out loud.
"I have no idea what that is....never have seen it before."
She smirks a little, "It ended up in the tree next to my face attached to a dagger. Tickle show them the dagger."
"A dagger? Whoever gave this to you wanted to be close to see you get it. Daggers have a short range. Which means they're probably still here."
She shrugs a little, "I...I don't know. It just sort of came flying through the air and landed in the tree next to me. I didn't see anyone, I tried to see where it came from...I just couldn't, there was just no one." She kind of rolls her eyes a little, "If there had been someone there, I would have seen them. Whoever it was, obviously did't want to be seen, and if they didn't want to be seen, they probably won't want to be found either. The note isn't telling us anything that we don't already know though." She looks down at her hands, "We know we're not safe...but, maybe if we could get a look around Mary's house we could..I don't know...find some clues or something." She looks helplessly around at her friends and sisters. The need for answers weighing heavily in her voice.
"I realize that. You want to go take a look? A little B and E never hurt. I need to grab a few things but we could do it tonight." Flynt shrugs.
Terra was listening to the possible plans.
She looks toward Flynt are you sure you want to do it tonigjt? I mean i'm not really sure if i am ready for that yet
"I'm gonna go get my gear before I say something that'll get me punched in the nads." Flynt sighs and leaves for his house.
Gashka stares open mouthed at Terra for a minute, "Terra!! Good grief girl...you are soooo bad." Gashka finally lightens up a bit and actually laughs at her sisters remark.
She looks back at Flynt while trying to stifle her laughter, "Ummm okay, sure...we'll be here." As he leaves she bursts into fits of giggles again.
Terra just looks off with an innocent smile, what?, im not sure if i'm ready to go back to that house.
Nodding she rolls her eyes, "Yeah...riiight. You just kill me Terra...it's okay though cuz I still loves ya." She wraps an arm around her sister in a light squeeze.
"Focus Flynt. This piper thing has me messed up. I mean she walked right into it and we didn't just go for it. What the hell is wrong with you?" Flynt silently chastises himself as he makes his way towards his home.
Anyka shakes her head grinning at her little sister's dirty mind. This was why she liked being around her sisters and her friends at times like this, they had a way of making even the worse situation not as bad. Sharing a look with Gashka she shrugs. "Honestly, taking a look around her house is probably a good idea, although that message was loud and clear, I don't think any of us should be completely alone for any extended amount of time from here on out. Regularly check in with each other increasing the odds that nobody gets to face any one of us alone."
She glances over at Jin, while quiet, the silent mage was often a remarkable source of information. "Any ideas ninja boy?"
"We need to have a real good look around town, not just her house. Something happened here and figuring it out is our first step." Jin replies.
Thinking for a minute Gashka sighs, "Flynt just went off by himself to his house....do you think he'll be alright...or should Tikkle and I go after him?" She tries not to sound too worried, but always has a hard time hiding her true feelings from her sisters. If what Anyka said was right, then they shouldn't take any chances right? Not knowing quite what to do, she looked to her sisters and friends for guidance.

Terra perks up at the thought of going to Flynt's house

Putting a hand up, "Whoa there chief...not by yourself....that's what we were just saying. It's not a good idea for any of us to be caught out alone right now. Why don't I go with you?" She smirks and there's a tad bit of humor in her voice, "This way I can keep my ever watchful eye on you and make sure....nothing comes up." Putting a hand over her mouth she tries to stifle the giggle that's trying desperately to escape.
Anyka snickers.
Well, if something does arise, do you know how to handle it?
Gashka blushes, "Ummmm yeah? Pick you up and carry you back? Besides, that's not exactly the "something" I'm interested in handling right now."
She blushes slightly brighter as she notices everyone's eyes on her, "I just...I meant with everything else going on right now. Houses to search, villians to find, monsters to slay....we're simply swamped." She glances around casually, making sure that none of her papa's friends were around to overhear their earlier remarks.

"We're gonna check out that girl Rose's place." Flynt replies, finding his lockpicks and pocketing them. "Her death was no accident and I intend to prove it. If you wanna come with, you're welcome to, little brother." He then straps his bow to his back before looking at Nate.
Flynt's mouth drops open. "My little brother, alright!" He raises his hand for a high five. "You realize you have a high chance of being shot right? So how long? And does mom know?" He says laughingly.
"Way to leave me hanging. But anyways, I'm glad you found someone. I really am. But I think you should let mom and dad know, they were a little worried about you. But I knew you had it in you. Though I should get going so you could uh, have it in her. Heh." Flynt says playfully punching his little brother in the shoulder. He finishes packing and makes his way downstairs. "Have fun you two. Unless you need something, we'll talk more in the morning, bro."
Terra and Gashka head to Flynt's house since he really shouldn't be alone with all that is going on.
Arriving at the house. Terra bangs at the door.
Hey, Flynt, ya home? you better not have gone ahead without me! she yells out.
Gashka shaking her head whispers, "Way to be discreet sis." She then laughs a little while calling out a little less loudly, "It's Gashka and Terra, we've come to escort you back to the tavern."
Terra adds with a smirk. I'm here to escort you, Gashka is here to make sure we behave
Lightly bumping Terra's arm with her shoulder, Gashka looks at her with a mock scowl while trying not to laugh, "Oh you....stop being soooo bad. You're gonna give the poor boy a heart attack one of these days."
Pharnox will find a street urchin and pay him/her one gold to run a message to Jin...
After this he will go to check upon his "ghost salt" (ooc]ghost salt weapon blanch[/ooc]) which is still in the "prototype" phase... Whether or not it will work is unknown.
Meet me at the Cart.
"Alright, alright." Flynt says as he opens the door. "Didn't realize I needed a babysitter. Not that I mind the company." He is fully geared and armored up. "Let's move quickly or it'll get really awkward.."
Gashka chuckles, "You just have no idea....Anyka just didn't think it would be a good idea for any of us to be wondering alone right now, what with everything that's gone on." She pauses for a moment as they leave his house and head back before continuing, "Maybe we should go back to my place so I can get my guns....oh wait, they're right here." She holds up her arms and laughs.
"Heh. Careful where you point those things. You might put someone's eye out." Flynt closes the door behind him and starts walking.
Gashka looks at herself with a puzzled expression on her face, "What things, my arms?"
"Your guns? I guess that one was over your head."
Gashka just looks at him again with another puzzled expression. Her nose crinkles and her forehead scrunches up in thought. After a few minutes she shrugs, "I guess so...." Sticking out her lower lip she pouts slightly and looks over at Terra, "Any idea what you're boyfriend is talking about?" She glances at Flynt and smirks.
"Wait, who said I was her.. What have you two been talking about while I was gone?"
