GM Scary Ceiling Voice |

waiting on the DM to reveal what is around the corner...
As you move down the 10 ft wide corridor and make the turn, you see more hallway. After a couple more turns, you come to another oak door.

GM Scary Ceiling Voice |

The room seemingly starts to spin, as you see a dark shadowy figure immerge from one wall, grab a hold of and toss you against one of the cells, further disorienting you. You blurily see the thing quickly disarm and grab Narima, dragging her through the wall. The stone grinds once more and there comes a resounding thud. Your vision soon clears and all there is left is the dagger Narima had a moment ago.

Tikkle |

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
At the first sound, Adrenaline surges through Tikkle and he Tears off through the hallway toward the sound.

Pharnox |

Perception1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Pharnox at first does not react not to the sound but when he sees the others preparing to bolt he speaks, the awful realization coming to him that none of them could recognize what this for what it was, a trap.
Quod cautio non et socii, et cautione; Haec dicta sint, et in captionem is succurro vobis non occidit, aut debilitatum.
Caution comrades, caution! This may be a trap, getting yourselves killed or disabled helps no one.

Asho Gohara |

Ash picks himself up, and dusts himself off. He is crestfallen, and ashamed to have fsiled so perfectly. He picks up Narima's dagger, spins it by point and handle longitudinally in his hands, staring at it, as if deep consideration of it's movemdmt would bring back Narima, or wipe away his shame. He sighs heavily.
"Damn. It was some sort of shadowy thing. It threw me into the cell bars, flicked Narima's dagger away, and took her through the wall. I think part of the wall moved? Before it all happened, there was music....and scraping of stone."

Tikkle |

Tikkle is the first back into the room, sword held high. After hearing what Ash said, he responded "Well where did he go!? what part of the wall moved!?"
Wise decision DC10: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (4) - 3 = 1
He runs to a bare wall and slams the hilt of his sword against the wall in his fury.

Vallterra |

Terra, who runs slow being the first to respond yet almost last to arrive returns.
Hearing the story, Terra goes to the wall she places her hand on the wall and closes her eyes like in deep concentration
come on stone, talk to me... i know you can hear me she whispers
this will prove she is either crazy, or has a talent

Pharnox |

Pharnox seeing what the furred one had done with his sword speaks his voice weary and tired like an elder trying to control children...
Proxima disrumpam
Quiet the lot of you, I need silence to examine this wall for any switches or so forth... If you want to know what is going on give me some peace and quiet, if not then go on shouting and alerting every single thing in this place... I am nearly past the point of caring about any of your lives, do not snap my last nerve...
Pharnox will if possible take twenty on his perception check with the wall...

Gashka |

Gashka don't have any perception, DAMN!
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 2 LOL, Nope.
Gashka has no idea what's going on, but she follows the others back to the room with the cells.
She goes to Ash, "What happened?"

Pharnox |

Pharnox grimaces at his inability to find anything... He charges (well as fast as he can using stealth) forward back to the oak door they found previously (the one where Terra peeked) and will attempt to unlock it...quietly.
Suadere etiam ad me omnes, manentibus praesto nobis mobile pauca ... Ad praesidium debilitatur reliqui neque quo illi aut relicturum detrahunt nobis ...
I would advise all of you to follow me, staying mobile may be one of the few defenses available to us... As for the debilitated who remain, either leave them where they lay or drag them with us...
stealth 10 for 19
disable device 10 for 19

Tikkle |

At the strange occurrence, Tikkle snaps out of his rage (he's a little Schizo, no?)and becomes very curious. He inspects the wall, poking at it carefully.
perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 (plus scent)
He makes an initial check, then takes as long as is available to him, (take 20 or as close as I'm allowed)

Asho Gohara |

Ash repeats what he said earlier.
He becomes even more withdrawn when Anyka storms in looking for Narima.
"I'm s-sorry. I...let her be taken."

Pharnox |

Pharnox calmly studies the lock, his hands probe for intricacies and hidden mechanisms... His eyes meanwhile narrow on the door itself, his hands then probe for clockwork mechanisms which the Drow use in the making of locked doors... The clockwork makes the doors far harder to pick then normal.
Disable device taking 20

Gashka |

Gashka puts a comforting hand on Ash's arm, "It could have happened to any one of us...don't be too hard on yourself. We will get her back and make that jerk face pay." While she means to sound comforting her voice is thick with anger.

Tikkle |

Tikkle gives up and runs after Pharnox. To everyone (at one time or another) he explains "there are other Panyas here, I can smell 'em"
hey GM, could I smell anything at the false wall?

Vallterra |

Terra remains at the wall for a few moments. Damn, why won't you answer. she walks away in frustration.
going over to Ash, she kneels down beside him. I know, but the stone won't tell me where they went. Terra stays with them a bit until Ash starts to feel a little better.
Looking to Gashka, I better go find baldy before he does something stupid.
he is right about one thing, Ash, you need to come with us now.
Terra gets up and offers her hand to Ash.

Asho Gohara |

Ash looks around, listening to Terra's suggestion.
"You're right. Rizzle presents no threat. Narima is gone. These children are already in enough danger. Let's go..."
Taking Terra's proffered hand he follows after...

Gashka |

Gashka is quiet as she approaches the others at the next door, but her face gives away what she's feeling. This is the closest that Gashka has come to hating someone in a very long time, and to make it worse...she's not even sure who the true enemy is. All she knows is that she really really hates whoever is responsible for all of this and she wants to put a stop to it.

Pharnox |

Pharnox steps away from the door and whispers in Anyka's ear...
Three voices beyond this door, translate to the others and keep them quiet... We can keep some modicum of the advantage of surprise if the rest of this lot can keep quiet...

Asho Gohara |

At the rear of the group, Ash tries to remain calm. This place gives him the spooks. He looks around to ensure their safety from strange grabbing arms...
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Tikkle |

I'm here, just waiting to see what's next

Anyka |

Nodding to the dark elf Anyka turns to the others.
"There's three people at the other side of the door. They're talking right now so they don't know we're here. I don't agree with a lot of what he's been saying, but he's right about this. We need to be quiet, and we need to be fast. Surprise will only give us one chance. Understand?"

Gashka |

Gashka nods her head and makes a motion like locking her lips and throwing away the key. Then she smiles at Anyka and puts one fist quietly into her other hand, signaling that she's ready to kick some butt.

Lo'Laan Jin |

Jin knew that the only way they were getting Narima back now was to kick in some skulls. And as much as he hated the bald jerk, with the option of sneaking out without being noticed no long viable, Jin had little choice but to work with him.
He remained silent as the group prepared to breach the door.

Pharnox |

Pharnox's voice is a whisper and he speaks to Anyka...
Tell the furred one, the one with green skin and pointed teeth and the one who was guarding the debilitated are to take point... They will serve as as suitable distraction, you, Jin and I will sneak behind the enemy in the confusion or failing that flank them. The rest are to act as both rearguard and replacements, if one of us falls they will take our place in the fight. Once we are positioned do not hesitate to strike, aim for the eyes, genitals and if you have a bladed weapon try to cut open the tendons on the back of their legs... That will cripple most targets...
