Ghost of Hallow's Eve |

Welcome, gentlemen (and ladies? Any ladies?)... to the Last Stand.
But before we dive into an endless bloodbath of zombies I need to know a very specific thing:
What did you do in the last three hours, and how/why did you make it your area?
Area 1: The Fat Pony is a wonderful tavern on the east of town. Cheap beer and rooms all accounted for.
Area 3: The Lighthouse stands on the south end of town past the harbor. It's tall and made of stone... so good for you.
Area 4: The Wolfcap Estate stands on the Briar Hill to the north of town. It's owner is strangely missing.
Once I know what you did in the last 3 hours, I'll grant additional items and supplies.
From there, we'll fall to the 6 Block/Day routine and continue until no players are left.
Experience is earned throughout the game and is split between all players who participate in a fight.

Eric Duponte |

Eric had just finished up his hospice duties at some outlying farms when he made his way back to town.. "Man there sure is a weird sickness sweeping across the land.. 6 outa 7 families shown weird symptoms.. I'll have to get right to studying it on the marrow.." He tops the hill overlooking town and stops to enjoy the scenery.. As the sun fades he conitnues his path back to the church with the remaining medical supplies he carried with him..
Ok so we have 3 hours to prepare or is it just what have you been doing for 3 hours and then all the sudden zombie time? Because if its the first we prob need some sorta intro as to what happened etc etc..

Jaxson Cane |

Jaxson, would have got a buddy to cover his last hour of patroling/guard duty, while leaving early to hit the tavern. There he would have chosen a young lady to share some drinks. Hopefully she was impressed by his dull stories of his bravery, more so hopefully the mead did its job and she agrees to head to the lighthouse to watch the sun set. He would still have his gear, at least weapons snd armor well because "Chicks dig the uniform" :)
This is all if we are doing what we normally would be doing and we don't no the apocolypse is about to happen.

Ranax |

Jense returns from a hunting foray and heads over to the Fat Pony for a draught. He looses Flay to roost on the roof of the tavern as he walks into the room and leans Guisarme against the counter as he takes a seat and begins to enjoy a drink. After the first sip his perpetual scowl relaxes into a mild frown.
We don't know zombies are coming yet, right?

Zalar Oathsworn |

Assuming the town has no reason to fear a thread, Zalar would have just worked his normal day at his carpentry shop. He likely knows Clyde quiet well, and would have thanked him for bringing in some choice pieces of oak. Being a bit of a perfectionist he of course would have assisted in any repairs or maintenance of the town's defenses... because you never know... :)
After a hard days work, Zalar would have retired at the Fat Pony for a large mug of ale and a big bowl of stew.

Ghost of Hallow's Eve |

I may not have been as clear as possible :P This is the three hours before anything occurs and then the reason why you happen to be at the safe location.
In other words:
- How were your last three hours of normal life spent
- Why are you at the safe location? Were you visiting the noble? Catching a view? Getting a drink?
- The Zombie Apocalypse occurs right after while you are already at the safe location.
I apologize if my instructions were unclear

Stave Rogars |

Stave spent the last three hours travelling to the Nobles house, though the last hour he has spent waiting for his missing host. He came from the local church to receive his annual donation and take it back. The last hour has been spent patiently awaiting his return. chatting to the servants and wandering the part of the estate he was allowed access to.

Perfect, exactly what I;m looking for.

Eric Duponte |

Yea i thought thats what happened.. My last hours we're spent treating outlying houses for a "strange sickness" that i had yet to study in depth and my route back to the church has taken me past the lighthouse.. I also thought it wise to say i had medical/stuffs left over from the day as well :)

Tex "Arcana" Johansson |

Tex swings open the iron gate, which creaks with disuse. The estate matches the description in the letter he received, but shows more wear and tear than he expected; the garden looks to be poorly tended in recent days, and there's no sign of inhabitants.
"Hello? Anyone there?"
He'd never even heard of this branch of his family tree before, and the whole thing smelled of a set-up, but he had to check it out regardless.
Tex spent the last 3 hours poking around Wolfcap Estate, looking for the owner.

GMMichael |

My thoughts. Ill create a small hamlet provide a map. provide a list of citizens with combat stats for the group to 'marshal' for combat. Bad Guys. and a time table. At some point the powers that be will have stopped the zombie plague. so it will be possible to 'win' and survive. It wont be a last man standing, though it could turn like that.
I wouldn't want to run a huge party if it was longer than a one shot. so lets see where we are at the end of the time table and go from there. so start with one shot with possibilities of longer.

Kor - Orc Scrollkeeper |

Thanks Stave, that sounds like a great back-up plan.
I believe I have sourced out the cause of the delay. Here is a message the DM wrote yesterday to another group he is DM'ing. I think the same could be applied to this group:
"I'm sorry for the slow update friends. I'm having an exam week at college and I thought I'd be fine. Seems to not be the case. I'll have a ton of free time starting Friday.
Apologies to all."
Once the DM's life returns to normal and he has a chance to decompress after exams, hopefully we should receive a further status update on the weekend.

Ranax |

If you do decide to take over, and it turns into something longer running, I'm interested. Numbers might not be a problem since a few have said they're dropping out and not very many people are still posting.
Also, I'll work up a real background if this turns into something. Stave, mind if I change the falconer archetype in that case? I was basically building for the best 1st or 2nd level character I could, but I'd do something different for a longer lasting campaign.

Stave Rogars |

Lets see if our intrepid DM returns before I start detailing exacts. But no I wouldn't mind.
I have a possible complex plot bubbling in my brain for long term, so it could turn into that, something about resident evil meets Golarion...but its just in the bubbling phase and I don't want to put serious effort into in case in doesn't reach fruition.

Larma |

I can't seem to post in discussion for some reason.
Anyway, here's my intro post.
Spending a few of his last coppers at the Fat Pony, Larma couldn't help but overhear talk of an estate owner needing some help. Although the man speaking appeared to be extremely intoxicated, Larma had been out of work long enough that he couldn't afford to ignore any lead. Besides that, working on a private estate might allow him to avoid working with the public, more for their sake than for his, given the unsettling nature of his curse.
As he approached the gate, absentmindedly grumbling about the poor upkeep, Larma noticed some activity within. He also noticed at least one shadowy figure poking around outside, and he appeared to be carrying a rather large weapon of some exotic nature.

Ghost of Hallow's Eve |

It Begins
As you go about your final hours of peace... the sounds of disaster ring from the town square.
Soon, the dead walk the streets of Spinner's Well. Holed up in your current locations you soon realize that as the night continues... there may be no salvation.
However, morning brings a glimpse of hope. The undead seem to retreat to darkened areas during the day.
It is now Day 1 - Round 1/6.
As mentioned previously, you need only describe where you wish to go, and the general gist of what you want to do. I'm hoping Days won't take too long to go through.
I suggest you make appropriate skill checks as you move around so I don't need to ask for them.
Best of luck!
EDIT: Fixed map

ClydeMcClod |

Clyde got lots of wood stocked at the Fat Pony
Perception as needed: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Clyde jumps up at the scream. Well gollleeee! What be happening out there? Tis an awful ruckus! Clyde rushes to the window and looks out but forgets to pull aside the curtains.
If those orcs are raiden we gotta get a posse together and drive them out, Anyone with me?

Eric Duponte |

I think its Oni and Jaxson with me yes? Oh and Jaxson's female friend..
Rushing into the lighthouse for safety Eric quickly sees he's not alone..
"Hello guys.. Im Eric Duponte, Cleric of Iomedae.. Dark times have hit us.. I've never seen people turn that fast.. Zombies.. We should stick together and search this place.. Tomorrow we'll see what we can find out around here.."
Take 20 search in the lighthouse yields a 25 Perc.. Searching for anything that might seem useful..
The next day he'll ask his group put what they do to a vote, so that everyone's input is had on what they should do..
I assume the church is in the market square or around there?
If so he'll suggest they make their way there because the church might have some idea of what's happening.. Plus there would be supplies to help vs undead in stock there..

Ranax |

Got food. Need supplies and a better place to hole up.
Jense stands up and walks out into the gray dawn. He whistles and Flay flaps down to perch on his shoulder. Scowling around Jense looks for signs of the previous night's carnage. He turns his feet southward towards the slums.
Assuming I got food from hunting the night before Jense will want to ransack the slums for tools and wooden boards and nails.

ClydeMcClod |

Whoops, Thought the action was starting during the night.
Well that was pretty darn scary with seeing folks like ol granny Perkins walken around eaten people. I reckon we better get the Fat Pony all boarded up so our brains stay in our skulls.
Clyde will get the wood from out back. Fraid I don't know about fine carpentry for maken boards. How about we head into the town and find the carpenter's? He'll have plenty of hammers and nails.
Clyde will head out there if anyone wants to come along. If not, he will grumble and look for a wagon and uneaten horse or mule to head to the carpenter's(Or the lumbermill)

Larma |

Larma collects his things and prepares to head off. "Well fellows, it appears we have fallen upon grave misfortune, if you will pardon the pun." he says as he draws his sickle and considers the world outside. "We should investigate the market for survivors, since it is nearby. Being such a frequented area, it seems unlikely many would have been able to defend themselves there. However, at very least there should be valuable supplies."
