With a little boiling, tree bark makes suitable eating to keep the hunger pangs away. Plus you get lots of fiber.
Looking at him though, hes good at getting the Zombies to kill each other :D...which is essentially the same thing...;)

Ace doesn't look good for eating, he's too old and gristly, just like his human partner (some even say they look a little alike). Besides, if food gets scarce, I'd be more worried about Grakka than the other humans...
