Klarg retreats, ducking and dodging as Arvhil and Iago attack.
15 just misses I'm afraid.
The bugbear seems to gather his wits a little. Dropping his morning star, he readied and hurls a javelin at Arvhil but the projectile hits the cave wall and clatters to the floor.

Everyone can have advantage against the wolf until the beginning of it's next turn.
The goblin runs around to the front of the fire and pulls back on its bow string letting another arrow fly at Arvhil. The arrow finds a weak spot in the paladins chainmail armour and sinks in to his shoulder. Arvhil drops to the floor blood spreading slowly from the wound.

Arvhil drops to 0 HP and needs to make a death saving throw on his turn.

Iago swings his mace one more time at the wolf, there's a sickening, satisfying crunch as it's skull gives way, gore flicks from the mace, hitting the cave wall as the wolf crumples to the floor.

He then moves to stand over and protect Roth, assuming a low defensive stance, raising his mace ready to strike and looking straight into the eyes of the Bugbear

GM Kip |

Felicia is correct. For a death saving throw you roll 1d20 with no modifier (you can spend inspiration if you wish.) On a 10 or better you succeed, 2-9 is a fail. Nat 1 counts as two fails. If your lucky enough to roll a Nat 20, you regain consciousness and 1 Hp.
It takes 3 successful throws to become stable, and 3 failures to die.
A DC10 medicine check can also stabilise an unconscious character.
Felicia sends a blast of Eldritch power slamming into Klargs chest, he reels and howls in pain, but then grits his teeth and refocuses.
Ràghnall fires another arrow that flashes past the bugbear on his right.
Iago chants, golden light baths Arvhil's wounds sealing them, before new energy courses through the half elf's body. His eyes flit open as consciousness returns.

He makes a mental note to look at the rest of the contents when things settle down.

GM Kip |

Rolling two to catch up!
I think you only needed to roll one... sorry if my updates are confusing. Nevertheless Arvhil manages to stabilise you in time.
Arvhil tends to the fallen, repositioning Rothwillian off his injured side seems to ease his breathing, and removing the clerics cracked helmet and steming the blood flow from a cut to his head.
While Ràghnall grabs some healing potions from the chest.
Assuming you administer the potions:
Iago regains 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (3, 2) + 2 = 7 Hp
Rothwillian regains 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 3) + 2 = 7 Hp

Most of the sacks and crates piled up here have a trademark on them. A design of a lion standing on its back paws surrounded by a shield.
In the chest, along with the two potions, are 110 Silver Pieces, 600 Copper Pieces and a jade statuette of a frog (worth 40gp)

Iago of Amaunator |

I'm more than happy to use the potions now
Aah treasure division. Iago, recovered a bit now and with some of his spark restored speaks, In Turami, the land of traders and merchants where everything is haggled, we sort everything out equally. That means we would each get 22 silver coins and 120 copper coins each. To decide who gets the Jade Frog, we play a game at home called 'Rock, Parchment, Shears' in the common tongue. Let us play this to decide who gets the statuette
DM can you please roll 1d10 where alphabetically 1-2 Arvhil 3-4 Felicia 5-6 Iago 7-8 Ràghnall 9-10 Roth

Felicia Erkana |

Felicia grins coolly as the bugbear thumps to the ground. After seeing that the two fallen comrades are brought back to their senses, she pulls a long, thin-bladed dagger from the folds of her still-damp skirt. Walking over to the dead Klarg, she picks up one knobbly hand and sets to work removing his largest finger, tucking it into a small pouch on her belt. Then she draws the thin blade along his neck. When the blood wells out, she will unwrap one of the scarves from around her waist and will dip it in the sanguine outpouring. I told you I would grind your bones, singe your flesh, and dye my scarves with your blood you foul creature. she thinks quietly.
Finished with her grisly task, she stands and slaps her hands on her skirts. Seems fair Iago. I've not had a play at that game in many years. Though we usually played to see who had to scrub the scriptorium. she says lightly. The beasty did say that these were his goblins. Do we think there are others running about the cave? Our man isn't up here in this room, possibly elsewhere? We should carefully move forward, lest we find another vile creature like Klarg over there.
Something I promised this devil in the darkest recesses of his mind. I told him I would see to it that his soul will suffer the abyss and that I would burn his flesh, grind his bones to meal, and dye my scarves with his foul blood. I DON'T break promises. Period. Felicia says, much more serene now than she seemed mere moments ago.

GM Kip |

Ok then, Iagol and Rothwillian are conscious and have 7hp each.
@Iago While I like the flavour of playing Rock, Parchment, Shears to split difficult loot, I'm not sure about using it here. If everyone agrees to it, (in character and out) I'll go ahead.
I think it would be a good way to decide who gets a magic item that two characters want, or maybe in the case of small trinkets. In this case though the statuette is worth more than double all the coins put together and I feel it would make more sense (in character) to sell it later and split the gold...
I'll wait for the others to chime in on the issue of treasure splitting and what to do next before continuing.

Roth struggles to his feet, shaking his head. He brushes himself off, checks his clothing for embarrassing holes, then smiles. "I live! Much obliged, my friends." After a short discussion about splitting loot. Felicia points out that you're yet to find any sign of your Dwarven patron, Gundren or his bodyguard Sildar...
The party heads out across the suspension bridge and down the last unexplored tunnel. As Arvhil rounds a corner he sees goblins waiting, weapons ready in the chamber at the end of the tunnel.
This large cave is divided in half by a ten-foot-high escarpment. A steep natural staircase leads from the lower portion to the upper ledge. The air is hazy with the smoke of a cooking fire, and pungent from the smell of poorly cured hides and unwashed goblins.
A goblin stands at the ledge, holding a beaten and bloody human you recognise to be Sildar.
" Halt! " the goblin screams puffing out his chest. " Yeemik is leader now! Makes deal with you! Leave my caves now and I release human, fight and I throw him over ledge to die! "
Sildar groans...

Iago of Amaunator |

Iago speaks quietly to his companions,"We must keep poor Sildar alive. Although the greenskins deserve to die for their crimes we cannot fight and risk his life. What say you?"

Felicia Erkana |

I agree Iago. I am intrigued though, why does this Yeemik now declare himself the leader of the goblins? Do we know anything about how their leaders ascend? Could we convince him that, in fact, Ràghnall is the new leader of the goblins because he launched the bolt that slew Klarg? Counter his offer with our own offer. They give us Sildar unharmed and we may consider what should be done with our goblin clan? Felicia says quickly, her mind racing for a way to save Sildar.

GM Kip |

They won't follow an outsider just because the person slew the old leader.

Ràghnall MacGuaire |

"Goblins will follow one of their own when their leader falls. Yeemik was probably next in line" Ràghnall whispers.
"He probably heard the battle and deduced that Klarg is dead. Especially since we're all still alive."
He looks around for a decent vantage point to see if maybe he can take a shot at their new leader.

Arvhil |

Arvhil wants to attack the smug goblin, but his concern for Sildar holds him back.
"What of the dwarf. Where is he? We cannot retreat until we know he is safe from harm!"
The paladin seems to be stalling, for what...who knows..maybe a miracle!

Iago of Amaunator |

Iago again hurriedly quizzes his companions
”Charge if you will Arvhil, I’ll follow you to battle
If not someone had better barter for Sildar’s release and persuade these greenskins to tell us more about Gundren’s whereabouts. There are more charismatic members of our party than me who can seek terms with these villians
