I'm there. Happy to pick up the pace. In my experience though, all games slow after that initial frenetic excitement.

Oh I get it, I don't like doing combat on my phone let alone kingdom turns. The game is great so far it's because it has been fun that I want to post so much more :)

I'm around. A question ...do we have anyone who can speak lizardman? Would I substitute my cohort for Lucius or have her along just as translator, controlled by Thron? Or something else? Sure, one of them probably speaks common at least, but we need full understanding.
Cohorts will not be traveling/adventuring in any capacity.

Had planned to post this evening after work, but got bushwhacked with family drama immediately after work (literally hadn't even walked to my car yet). I'm too stressed to focus properly right now.
Ultimately, the lizardfolk try to run, via the river as fast as they can by swimming underwater for as far as they can. You can feel free to RP the end of the fight, 3 or so of them likely escape. The one Galendir has a blade at it's neck surrenders, and the leader is actively bleeding to death. Feel free to post as you wish within those parameters. Combat over for this scene.

I wanted to apologize for my recent slow in posting here. I have had a lot of things going down in life that has prevented me from being able to readily access rules material to put up my usually more prompt posts that are actually related to actions or game updates.
A) Applied for a job as a clinical manager in the hospital, and was doing multiple interviews and prep work to try and get that position. Didn't work out.
B) Baby, which some of you may have already knew about.
C) Family visits
D) Working overtime every week since March 29th.
E) Two new clinical manager jobs have opened up, and I have applications in for those and am hopeful for one in particular as it is for a floor I used to work on.
and the list goes on.
You may have noticed that I have still been active in other games, and less so here. That is not because I have lost interest. It's just that I am able to post easily when all I have to do is get in character mindset and throw up an RP post. But when I gotta start bouncing between tabs and such to get into the rules, it slows me down and my opportunities for doing so have become slim.
I have no plans of folding this game as long as you guys are understanding and with me on this. I'll post when I can, as detailed as I can.
I'm not going anywhere. I prefer faster games as I can post a lot during the day but I understand things come up and change, so do what you can when you can. Good luck on the job.

As do I. Which is why I get so perturbed with myself when I am held up from updating as often as I’d like.
Fortunately, this is at an opportune time that I wanted to give y’all a heads up about.
Get your role play muscles flexed, because next up is a major RP heavy segment in the game. Be prepared to RP your Characters, Cohorts, and maybe even some followers.
Also, for those of you with lots of ranks in Social skills, I wouldn’t be expecting a high roll to result in a permanent friend. But, it will sway the targets outlook on you perhaps for the scene.
Allies can be won, enemies can be made. But it will take more than just a lucky roll of the dice to do so (or prevent it).
I may at times yoink control of a cohort or follower from you guys momentarily to RP something particular, but for the most part, they will be yours to play out.
Just wanted to give you all a heads up.

I feel now a bit castrated!
A couple quick things to settle up:
1) What month you guys want to have this festival? Winter is 2 months away. Spring will be at least 5 months. Holding a party like this in the winter in this part of the world will be problematic, but possible. Waiting until spring...who knows what will likely happen.
2) Winter is hard in Brevoy and the northern River Kingdoms. As a general rule, expansion and development of territory will not be allowed during the 3 months of winter. Farms and such will still work, representing what they were able to produce as a stockpile prior to the season. You can still build buildings, but improving and claiming hexes are not going to be possible for those three months.
3) If anyone has a request from Dolgrin related to crafting anything, shoot it his way. He has likely made it clear to you all he is capable of making Wondrous Items, Magic (or mundane) Arms and Armor, and Rings. It will cost the normal price (basically he is selling it to you).
4) In preparation to the festival, you can spend from your kingdom to send materials to fund the tasks Flaith set before you. What benefits that will get each of you...who knows? But get creative. Look at the equipment lists, services, etc for pricing and detail out what you are purchasing for the party. It’s not going to be as effective as regular BP, essentially equivalent to 2,000 gp worth of goods/coin (same as if you remove it for personal use), with no penalty to Unrest since it isn’t for personal use and for a kingdom event.
Well I missed that with winter. Winter solstice would be an option, but I think spring would be better. For quite a few reasons.

Just a question. Did Lucian just loose a mundane crossbow, and we others our magic items? Sorry to ask, but that does not sound that fair.
No: he has the same gear list on both aliases. So, the dragon would have claimed his magical weapons. He was studying you all with Detect Magic, after all.
For future reference Lucius, if one of your identities is only carrying certain items, then the gear list needs to represent that in some way. For clarification and fairness. But for this situation, since I just looked and saw the gear lists are identical, I am going with you were carrying the rapier and machete, but we’re hiding them. However, the dragon saw and demanded them.
Fair enough. In the future, Lucius never carries those two. Just the crossbow and the daggers.
1) I say in the spring after the roads clear. That gives us some time to prepare as well. Well, more time than we need really, but better too much than not enough.
2) Got it. Hunkering down.
3) I’d love to, but I have no real cash, just a grand or so, and still need to replace my weapon. I’ll see Dolgrin once I have a few hundred more gold in my pocket - which sounds like it may be a while. With that damned dragon, we're all poorer now than when we started!
4) 2,000gp for our end of the party, each. Got it. I’ll note the reduction in my next kingdom turn. I’ll put something together for the tournament portion of the party.
Some quick clarifications to your response:
3) withdrawing BP for personal use is an option. If you are willing to chance the penalty.
4) you aren’t required to use any BP on the festival/feast. You can also use as much as you wish. Donating more/less May have an impact on things during or after the thing happens. Or even how people view each of you. Some may see you as interested in improving relations between nations, others may see you as wasteful, or some may think you are wise for being frugal. Who knows?
Anywho: you could donate one or more each month leading up to it, or none at all. It’s up to you! You can make it public knowledge and post your contributions and planning in thread, or private and PM it to me, or a combination of both!

I think for Govannon, he'll just do what he set out to do with the 1BP/2,000gp. Leaves room to improve when we make it an annual thing. And he's not going to take BP out of the kingdom for his own pocket. He'd think that unethical unless the need was dire. It may be dire, but he doesn't think so yet.
Galendir will spend 1BP each month for the winter months that now will not be spent expanding toward the party for food and libations as well as entertainment.
I think one BP each should pay for an extremely lavish fest. I hope.

Trying to figure out how to handle Lucius having been caught with his other ID's gear. Does he think the others took note? He might not be able to just ask Dolgrin to replace them. Hm. Being a vigilante is complicated.

Oh were we supposed to be rolling events for our Turns. Besides the plague I have had no event but haven't rolled for any. I will start this turn. Should I do any for the older turns?

I numbered my hexes on the map that I will be claiming. This will get me 4 farms at least, Lucius I won't go any further north so you can still expand that way. Is the black unexplored? Or is it a border of some kind?
GM can you mark my two resource hexes when you get a chance, you can use the same coin as the mines, just helps me track and remember. :) thanks.
