Govannon is open to either, though he wants to make an excuse to visit Dolgrin in the late spring or early summer. One to three months from now basically.
Not sure what adventuring opportunities we have, so I think Kingdom turns might be best for a month or two. I have some recon notes that might lead to something, but I'm not sure I want to summon the barons for a hunt with so little information.

Quicker than intended post to explain my absence lately:
1. Kid: he’s okay, but been battling a virus for about a week and a half. Finally been symptom free for about two to three days.
2. Work: still working as much OT as I can grab.
3. Wife Aggro: anytime I so much as THINK I have free time to post, she uses her super-wife-mind-reading-powers to come up with something for me to not have free time. As is, I’m hiding in the bathroom to post this to all my games. Example 2, today was secretly planned to be a big day of relaxation and posting. She and the kid were supposed to be at school. Instead, she wanted me to keep the kid. Reason: just because.
4. Interviews: been to multiple interviews lately trying to get into a better job that will require less OT. No such luck so far, with one last major option within my hospital in process. Low odds of getting picked. May have to start looking outside of my facility.
I’m PLANNING on tomorrow being my 1 “me day” in the past few weeks and getting some posts caught up. We will see how that goes.

As a husband I understand part 3.... but I have a simple solution in form of a book. Men are from Mars and Women from venus.
Men do need their cave to recharge their batteries.
Wife doesn't understand that concept at all.
I know thats why you should gift her the book.
I have the same issue with anything medical and my wive. She is a nurse and she knows everything better. I have to carry her to a doctor and threaten to do publicly to get her to see one.

To clarify what just happened:
I generally run a house rule I refer to as “A Deity Call.”
When a PC dies, the DM (and only the DM) makes a 1d100 roll, and the goal is to roll UNDER your character level. If successful, a deity has taken personal interest in your fate for the moment, and intervenes on your behalf.
In such rare cases, the lucky (formerly unlucky) PC has a form of Boon attached to their character, but also often times gain some unspoken responsibilities too. Those may or may not come up in game, depending on RP, but the character indefinitely knows that a higher power is watching them closely with expectations...
Some classes get unwritten boosts to their Deity Call roll, like clerics, paladins, oracles, and such. Particularly pious individuals also get some boosts too.
Dropping this in all my games. I started a new work assignment today that leaves me with less posting time. How much less I'm not sure, but my teacher hours mean I can still post every day. I'm not quitting by any means, just letting you know my posting hours will be more limited.
Just checking in here, guys. Govannon seems to be the only one actively participating in the searching. Is everyone fine with that? Should I move on or keep waiting?

As someone familiar with kingmaker I would say for this part yes. It's not great for PBP. Getting all the info and being able to digest it and then formulate a plan could help move us along :)

It has been a week since I updated the gameplay thread with no response. Seeing as things have died down to this point here, I'm going to spare everyone the drag and throw the towel in on this game.
For my part, I had fun with the unique take on Kingmaker rules, and enjoyed the game throughout. Going to leave this open for another day or so before I close it down to Inactive.
Side Note: Dolgrin wasn't betraying you guys, it was totally a case of misunderstood border negotiations.

I was going to use it as a sort artifact. It would grow in powers as a custom designed item (by myself) that would have some nifty powers that revealed over time, but would also be used to keep individual wealth somewhat even in case you fell behind.
I didn't post as I went after the crows. This is why I wanted to be king in the first place. I'm on the boards pretty much every day and post many times a day. I would very much like to continue if your up to it GM. Govannon and I seem to post daily. Not sure what happened to Flaith, but Lucius had not posted either.
It was very fun having control of our own lands :)
