Yay! Me likes it!

Can we make a knowledge or perception check to get to know what that dire wolf is Wolf?

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Merry Christmas everyone! Holidays are still running strong for me, as my girls now need the time to play through all of their gifts ;) I'll update as soon as possible.

You may make one knowledge check per round as a free action. You all know or are pretty sure it was a statue and looks to still be one.

Dm?

Are the updates not showing up?

Updates? What updates?

I have been getting your posts, just have not had time to sit down and finish off round 5.

I will be traveling tomorrow light posting

Lawyer 8/MBA 7/RPGist 5

Have a nice trip. I'll be traveling on January 2nd.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Wanted to drop a line to wish you all a Happy New Year!! Today and tomorrow posting will not come easy, and next weekend the family is going on a snow trip, but I'm still around. Posting will be sparse though, until next Sunday.

Enjoy the holiday everyone!

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

if anyone is interested to join a game that just started in wich i am playing :

Can I use withdrawl to crawl to I-2, and then stand up?

Also does my initiative order change now to be after Locke's?

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

unfortunately you can't, crawling does provoke an AOO

--

You can crawl 5 feet as a move action. Crawling incurs attacks of opportunity from any attackers who threaten you at any point of your crawl. A crawling character is considered prone and must take a move action to stand up, provoking an attack of opportunity.

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

Attack from the ground.

Something that I have recently done with my IRL game, we allow them to roll away, now it takes a Acrobatics DC 20 to do it without provoking and a move action. It just seems odd they don't have something like that in place but alas it is an exception rather than an overarching rule, so it makes sense they don't have it in the core books.

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

It's a DC 20 to get up as a free action, If I'm not mistaken. But it still draws an AoO.

To stand as a free action, to not draw an AoO, is a DC 35. :)

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

A good option ^_^

dm were you still working on that map for me?

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Glad to hear you are feeling better DM...

Thanks Arsil. :)

Xmas gifts, you get to choose one first, Mirage:
Ring of Sustenance.
or
bracers of armor +1.

David:
Ebon goggles - that allow the wearer to see 30 feet of darkvision unless underground then 60 feet.

Vuvu:
Boro Beads (pearls of power for alchemist) , 1st level.

Arsil and Hagrin: Your gifts were not easy to find, not in your character sheet. Feel free to select an item from Extras. Hagrin would you like to keep your elixir?

Extras:
a potion of mirror image.
Ring of jump, +5.
blunted longsword of training. Nothing is revealed for this item.
scroll of Barkskin and Lesser Restoration.
and likely the bracers of armor +1.

The book is for everyone for each of you to get your trait and a magical talent

a book of learning:
it allows you to learn about the speicific trait within its pages. It takes at least a week to read the book while reading for at least 4 hours a day. Once one of the traits is learned, the words are still there but the magic is no longer there.

Traits: Pragmatic Activator, Armor Expert, Extra Arcana*, Sure Thing, Magical Talent(x6), Charming, Extra Channel*. *feats I believe.

Vital Stats:
Fighter 3 HP: 11/31, AC: 18/T: 12/FF: 16, Perception +7, Sense Motive +1, Initiative: +2, F: +5/ R: +3/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear), CMB: +7, CMD: 19, Speed: 30
Skills:
Climb +8, Diplomacy +9, Handle Animal +7, Intimidate +7, Linguistics +3, Perception +7, Profession (soldier) +5, Ride +5, Survival +5 (+7 to avoid becoming lost when using compass), Swim +6

Ebon googles, nice, and the sure thing trait is good too but what is a magical talent?

Vital Stats:
1d8+7, 2d8+9, HP: 34/34, AC: 20 _ T: 11 _ FF: 19, Perception +7, Sense Motive +7, Initiative: +1, F: +9 _ R: +4 _ W: +12, CMB: +4, CMD: 15, Speed: 20
Skills:
Acrobatics -2, Bluff +4, Climb -7, Diplomacy +8, Heal +17, Escape Artist -7, Handle Animal +4, K(A, H, P, N, R) +6, Linguistics +6, Ride +0, Stealth -7, Survival +7, Spellcraft +8, Swim -7

Magical Talent allows you to cast an Orison, once per day.

Now it will take one of you a week to read and have the magic work, before another can do it. So roll off to see who goes first?

In game Locke would suggest 'rock, scissors, paper' or in D&D terms... 'shield, sword, wand'. :) LOL!

I will let each of you learn Magical Talent and your trait at the same time...;)

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Arsil will read the Extra Arcana (it is indeed a Feat) And Magical Talent (Stabilization) and The blunt longsword of training

HP: 28/54, AC: 25/T: 13/FF: 22, Perc +7, SM +2, Init +6, F: +7(+8vs poison/drugs)/ R: +5/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear/Mind), CMB: +8, CMD: 23, Speed: 20

Mirage doesn't care about the Cantrip, for now, but he is in hurry to learn the Armor Expert.

Btw, Wolf, the Bracers of Armor do not stack with the armor worn (breastplate in that case), but if they do (for being special) I'll gladly take them instead of the ring.

shall we roll a d20 each for the order of reading

GM Wolf, where we supposed to have the Xmas list on our character sheet?

I guess Hagrin will go with the Ring of Jumping, Magical Talent and... Charming?

But most of all yeah, I'd want to keep the Elixir.

It looks like Mirage is taking the ring, leaving the bracers up for someone else to use/take.

Does anyone else not wear armor, other than Vuvu?

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

nope :)

Magical items:
3 glowing crystals worth 100 gp
Necromatic Staff
a broken lute
a leg of spoiled chicken - moderate conjuration
Morningstar +1
one of the small jewelry boxes - moderate conjuration
one light steel shield +1
halfplate +1

DM notes:

chicken leg of mage armor
box of storing - touch it to another chest and you can use it to place an item into the chest. Max holding of 300 lbs.
Morningstar of roasting, 2d6 fire, but it must first be used to make a fire that cooks your food. Intelligent... :)
Lute of fixing/buidling
Necromatic staff of undead calling.

Each bar of silver is likely 5 lbs, so 25 gp each

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24 crystal
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21 staff
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30 lute
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29 chicken leg
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27 jewelry box

Arsil:
The crystal... all three you think are control crystals, likely used in conjunction with commands to Thasselion constructs. 'However that group of people were called'.

Necrotic aura off the staff.

The lute is broken and needs to be repaired, but with the faint aura you can see it used to be a lute of repairing and building.

The chicken leg seems to confer sustenance... and mage armor once per day. CL 5.

The box is basically a bag of holding, though with something extra, if you place it next to another chest, like one of the larger ones around, and open that chest you can collect items from the larger one, and place things in it. It can hold up to 300 lbs.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Great i think we just have solved our loot transportation problems. Can you put all the weapons and armor into that chest over there please? once done she will activate the Jewelry box of holding and have everything in it.

She hands the Chicken leg to vuvu

This seems to confer sustenance, as the ring but more importantly for you it can also be used to cast mage armor once a day. You are going to need it since you have no armor

She will put the broken lute in the the rest. The necromantic staff rolled into a spare cloak will go into her bag and the will put the three crystals and the jewel box in their own separate pouch

She hands the magical 1/2 Plate to David Here you go, we should sell the magical shield as it is a light one she tells vuvu in order to put on the loot list.

David do you need a magical 1 handed weapon, if you don't i'll hand the Morningstar to locke

Vital Stats:
Fighter 3 HP: 11/31, AC: 18/T: 12/FF: 16, Perception +7, Sense Motive +1, Initiative: +2, F: +5/ R: +3/ W: +3(+4 vs. fear), CMB: +7, CMD: 19, Speed: 30
Skills:
Climb +8, Diplomacy +9, Handle Animal +7, Intimidate +7, Linguistics +3, Perception +7, Profession (soldier) +5, Ride +5, Survival +5 (+7 to avoid becoming lost when using compass), Swim +6

Let Locke have it.

Unless one of you fits pretty well into the suit it will need to be reworked some. On a 20 it fits well enough.

David:1d20 ⇒ 18
Locke:1d20 ⇒ 10
Hagrim:1d20 ⇒ 18
Arsil:1d20 ⇒ 10
Mirage: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Vuvu: 1d20 ⇒ 7

David or Hagrim could use it, but with a loss of 2 Dex and 2 armor rating.

Anyone could use it once it is reworked to fit them.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

the suit refer to the armor?

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

It is too heavy and cumbersome for Hagrin to wear ;)

Yes the suit of armor we have been discussing. The halfplate +1.

so is lock wearing the half plate?

and no one took the morning star?

just about got the current loot value done, and what it is worth if we are able to sell it at half price.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

lock isn't wearing it as the 1/2 plate is heavy armor...

and currently arsil is carrying the morning star until she can do some more identification on it

ok i will leave it on the list of stuff to be sold for now
