As always, she appreciates the spot of humor in the grim situation. Add +2 to your relationship with Ameiko.
Shalelu: While on hunting duty, Hrunndalf asks her to help him with his javelin technique. He'll try to make good use of her instructions and gift her with the first bunny or so he takes down with his improved accuracy.
She seems to appreciate both the gesture and your increased skills. Add +2 to your relationship with Shalelu.
Koya: I'm going out on a limb a bit here... Koya is an old person, and if there's anything old people often want most from the young whipper-snappers is respect and attention. I'll try to gift her with appreciation for her great wisdom and experience by asking her to teach me some of the healing craft (I'll spend a skill point on Heal). I'm happy to pay her in the form of medicine-related menial chores.
She is happy to teach you, but that in and of itself does not affect your relationship; she seems to have taken on that role with many people in the Caravan, making it hard for you to stand out in that way. The medicine-related menial chores, however, seem much appreciated indeed. Add +2 to your relationship with Koya.
Sandru: Since he doesn't have an ego about the caravan... how about women? Or a certain woman in particular. At night at the campfire, after a bit of ale or distillate and with not too many listeners around (Rhost is OK ;), "So, Sandru... you've traveled with Ameiko for such long years, yet you've never had a thing going... are you just not her type, or is it that you still live with your mother?"
Sandru, alas, simply smiles and comments, "Good one." The man seems damnably hard to rile. If anything, he is starting to seem slightly perplexed by your attempts at starting a rivalry with him.

Hrithik nods to Alaric. "Probably nothing will be able to come of it until after Brinewall, but I will be done with scouting by dinnertime, and available each evening, should you wish to discuss the possibilities."
Alaric nods, smiling. "That should provide dinner conversation with some sense of purpose."
Melinda Sorn
She lets that sink in, You? Because it is. Divorced of reason, of caution, and of control. And I honestly don't know why. She looks at him, half expecting to get her naked self dropped on the ground.
Kalimac Proudfoot
While working with Rhost, when the subject of Kalimac's commands to Attatoq in battle comes up. "Hmm. Well, Attatoq and I have been working together for so long that I stopped giving regular commands. It's all more conversational. The way I'd ask Hrunndalf to do something, really."
"So I might say something like 'valvur Liothanae' ('guard Liothanae'), or 'lähme tappa, et koletis' ('let's go kill that ogre')."

Day 13 - Supply Wagon
"Iva," Rhost says.
Mel helps in her own limited way with food preparation. She is as nonverbal as Rhost. When that is done, and the caravan is moving, she heads over to the women's wagon.

JOURNEY DAY THIRTEEN, PART TWO – ARRIVAL AT BRINEWALL
This will happen after the currently planned interactions some of you have for day 13, unless you for whatever reason decide you would prefer it to be otherwise.
In the mid-afternoon, you arrive – or at least get as close as you can. The track you’ve been following all this time passes about half a mile east of Brinewall before continuing north and crossing the Steam River into the Nolands over a weathered wood-and-stone bridge. An old signpost about a hundred yards south of this bridge reads “To Brinewall,” and points down an overgrown trail that winds through a forest. This trail quickly fades away entirely into the undergrowth, and further progress toward the ruined village must be made on foot.
It is at this point that Ameiko falls into a coma from which she cannot be awakened by any means.
In the uproar that ensues, it quickly becomes clear that moving Ameiko even an inch further away from Brinewall sends her into convulsions. It seems likely that the answer to whatever has happened to her waits there.
But it seems horrifically unwise to bring an unconscious woman into the unknown dangers of the ruined town, and considering the circumstances, bringing her any closer could prove as dangerous as taking her away. Koya volunteers to stay behind to give her what care she can, and Sandru flatly refuses to leave her side as long as she is in this condition. Shalelu, glancing across the river at the Nolands, notes that a small contingent should probably stay to guard the Caravan and those within it while Brinewall is explored. She volunteers to be that contingent; she believes she can handle the job on her own, and her doing so will maximize the array of talents heading into Brinewall; the exploration party, she notes, would still have the services of a capable ranger without her.
So it appears, unless argument is made otherwise, that the group will be split in two – one to stand guard over Ameiko and the Caravan, the rest to head towards Brinewall to see if they can unlock whatever mysteries await there.
Hrunndalf is still “too sick to move”, and will presumably join the exploration party whenever he recovers. Reta is willing to either stay with the Caravan or go to Brinewall, depending on what her father decides. Bevelek and Vankar will stay behind with the Caravan.

Day 11: Oil of Endure Elements - Ameiko again
Day 12: Oil of Endure Elements - Koya
Day 13: Oil of Endure Elements - Shalelu
Handing the last potions to Koya and Shalelu, Hrithik will be somewhat grim. "If we don't return, or if an army boils up from Brinewall and breaks the Caravan, everyone here should be able to survive one day of even the worst exposure while fleeing, if it comes to that."
Alaric Graff
"Be happy to," she says.
"Thank you, Koya."
Alaric looks around for the foul enchantress. "Mel, could you translate for me, please?"
He kneels in front of Reta. "I'll be back as soon as I can. I need you to stay here with Koya. Listen to what she says, and do your best to be helpful. Keep yourself safe."
Melinda Sorn
Mel, still looking somewhat distractedly at the wagon where Ameiko lies insensate, repeats, Alaric qal: I ser tkun lura malajr kemm nista '. I-ħtieġa li tissospendi hawn ma 'Koya. Isma 'dak li tgħid, u nagħmlu l-almu tiegħek li tkun utli. Żomm ruħek bla periklu. A brief pause and she continues. Il-mara qodma huwa importanti li missierek. Jipproteġu tagħha kif inti nanna tiegħek.
The old woman is important to your father. Protect her as you would your grandmother.
Tollin Elere
Tollin gathers his gear and walks to the center of the caravan where Kalimac is standing and says, I've never done this adventuring thing before only bounty hunting, mostly in towns and cities, he looks at the wilderness around him with a combination of suspicion and nervousness, similar to how he looks at Attatoq. But if no one objects I would like to tag along, could be fun, or at least interesting.

Day 13 Women's Wagon
Mel helps in her own limited way with food preparation. She is as nonverbal as Rhost. When that is done, and the caravan is moving, she heads over to the women's wagon.
As Mel arrives at the women's wagon, Myri looks up momentarily, "Hi Mel". She seems to be in the middle of carving yet another project.

Day 13 Women's Wagon
As Mel arrives at the women's wagon, Myri looks up momentarily, "Hi Mel". She seems to be in the middle of carving yet another project.
Mel responds to the greeting with a smile that can't quite reach her eyes. She moves over to her bunk, sits cross-legged in a corner. A few moments later the small black cat arrives. Demands attention, and on receiving it purrs.
A long while later Mel looks over at Myri, I don't think I said it last night, but thank you. It's beautiful work.

Myri continues working until Mel speaks, she smiles "Thank you, really...I'm glad you like it. ... ...I don't really think it accomplished anything, though. I was hoping...well, I guess I'm not a very motivational speaker. I do appreciate it."
She looks over at Xander in Mel's lap(?) and smiles again. "He certainly does like to spend time with you."

Day 13 Women's Wagon
No, you did really well. If... if Aunt Ameiko wasn't... she would have told you that. The words were good and your poise and grace under pressure were superb. I'm sure that someone must have said something, after the... waves her hand, undoubtedly essential planning session.
At Myri's comment about Xander, she shrugs. And I him. He seems to understand me better than nearly any person I've met.

Day 13 Women's Wagon
"Um...not really," Myri's expression becomes decidedly guilty, "I...kind of snuck away as...as soon as I was done...and...um...hid."
As Mel speaks about Xander, Myri's eyes get a little glint in them. "So you're saying if I was to come over and curl up next to you and purr...you'd like that?" She continues to smile at her friend.
Melinda Sorn
Mel laughs, Myri's comment lifting her mood almost as much as Xander had. She responds to the joke in the same tone, No doubt it would. But you have carving and such. Although it would probably be smoother than the last time I tried to... She trails off at Rhost's words.

Day 13 Women's Wagon
Mel smiles at Rhost. Hi again. And goodnight. With that, she sinks down into her bunk, pulls up a blanket and starts to settle down to sleep. The cat settles itself on her, his grey eyes no doubt evaluating the half-elf in terms of food possibilities and such. Her right hand, black cloth wrapped around the palm, comes to rest near her heart.

Day 13 Women's Wagon
Myri turns to Rhost, "Th..Thank me?", she seems a bit surprised and mildly embarrassed. However she actually gets a little less red. "I...uh, you're welcome...I guess...." She glances at Mel and Ameiko and lowers her voice. "Um...wh..why?

Witnessing Tollin's continued nervousness around Attatoq, even after all these days, Kalimac quips, "Did a wolf do something terrible to you as a child? Really, Attatoq is one of the most trustworthy people I know. Just ask Lio."
Looking a embarrassed Tollin motions towards Attatoq, [b ]A bad experience, no its just that well.....HE'S A WOLF. They're like wild animals...they are crazy dangerous and stuff. You know, WOLF LIKE.[/b]Realizing he may have just insulted Kalimac and 'Gulp' Attatoq, Tollin begins stumbling over his words in an attempt to make ammends, Of course, I ummmmm I'm not speaking of Attatoq....nononoNO. I'm certain that he's, uhhhhhhhhh, very well trained...probably even house broken. Yes good wolf. 'gulp' Finally realizing he is just making things far worse he sighs, his head and shoulders slump in defeat. To be honest I'm not really comfortable in the wilds. I spent time as part of a caravan when I was very young but it was always on well traveled routs. We never went anywhere like this. And that was a long time ago. I've spent most of my life in one large city or another. He looks up at the halfling with a somewhat desperate pleading expression, I understand cities, I know how things work. Out herehe waves and arm wide indicating the wilderness around the camp,I don't even know which leaves are safe to wipe with. I'm sorry about my reaction to Attatoq. Its just that everything I know or think I know about wolves tells me to fear him. I'm sure he's a fine mount and companion. Again I'm sorry for giving offense. After Tollin gets all this off his chest he does appear as if a weight has been lifted off him. Thinking back over the past few days Kalimac may realize that Tollin has never really left the caravan except for very brief periods of time.

Day 13 Women's Wagon
"Oh" Myri's smile grows a little larger, "of course. Thank you. I meant what I said you know, you are a really great cook. My Dad's both said I need to learn too, but I always resisted, I mean, I know enough to survive, but not..." she turns red (again) and looks out the back of the wagon. "Anyway, maybe someday I can learn to be maybe half as good as you." Her smile looking at him has something of a warmth to it.

Myri's smile lights up again, "Well I've been told I have plenty of that!" She catches herself again and immediately lowers her voice (again), "...of course, if I was to try something right now, without supervision, I think I'd just have people passionately mad at me."... ...Is there anything else you enjoy doing besides cooking?

Day 13 outside the Women's Wagon
As Myriana moves, she hears Mel's voice, "Oh Mel, you're so sweet. We should be the ones apologizing. I'm sorry to have kept you up...oh, and dear, it is morning. You have a good...uh..rest now."
Myriana shades her eyes from the sun as they exit the wagon.
She hops down from the moving wagon and adjusts to the ground with only the slightest stumble. "Really? I think that's kind of how I feel about dancing. When I can listen to the music and not worry about anything else in the world besides how it makes me feel and just let it flow threw my body into the movements. ... ...but I'm still not very good yet. I try to get up early and practice pretty much every morning, but I don't know....when I'm in the Shimmerglens, it seems like I can hear the music even when there isn't any, ...but outside of it...I don't know. I'm having trouble."....She walks alongside the wagon with Rhost for a while. "Ummm. So were you a cook or a rock crusher before? ... and" She blushes, "I'm sorry if I'm supposed to know this, but how did you end up coming to Sandpoint?"

Day 13, in the afternoon
"Umm, Aunty?", she approaches Koya as she (& Sandru?) looks after Ameiko before the exploration(or scouting) party heads out.
"I...I'm actually kind of proud of it...& I..I've prayed to Desna to watch over Aunty Ameiko and you and the others staying here. I know you'll be safe with Uncle Sandru and my sister here but...I figure every little bit helps." She produces an intricately carved "flying" Desnian
