Original Appearance:
This dark man's outfit is the cleanest, whitest ensemble you have ever seen. His breeches and tunic and turban are spotlessly white. His necklace of rune-marked capsules? White on a chain of tiny white pearls. His collection of leather-bound, travel-ready religious texts? White. The scrollcase hanging on his hip? White. His teeth? Every one you can see? White; perfectly white.
Everything is even more obviously white given how dark his complexion and hair are. Here and there are accents of gold (earrings, turban pin, belt clasp, a bracelet on his right wrist), but these serve mainly to draw the eye back to the white turban, the white belt-sash, and the white gloves. And when this man (beamingly, gleamingly) smiles widely and laughs, his left upper canine is exposed and revealed to also be golden, which only makes more evident how shockingly white all the other teeth in that smile are. Blindingly, flawlessly white, and polished to a liquid glow. Nothing natural, other than sunlight, is as white as this man's radiant smile. As you draw nearer, you catch the tiniest hint of mint scent, and are aware of the briefest, astringent note of some kind of cologne. The evidence slowly comes together: the golden metal length alongside his scrollcase is a sunrod, the capsules at his neck are vials, and the endless scented white whiteness is evidence not of prestidigitation but of exotic soaps and dry cleansers. This clean, unblemished man before you is living better through alchemy. Stat Block:

Destined Item: Cheliax:
A thick, encyclopedic volume of history, bound in rich black leather, bearing gold corner-frames and a centered gold symbol of Cheliax That Was in the upper portion of the tome's cover. The books title is simply printed in the lower half of the front cover. Looks like this, but black instead of brown, gold Cheliax symbol instead of Auryn. The book is protected by a superior lock (DC 40), which is opened by a key with a Cheliax-symbol head. The pages of the work are extremely thin, yet very strong, the ink either printed with a machine press of astounding quality, or infused directly into the pages with magic. The tome was written just before the Death of Aroden, and is likely the single most thorough source of the history of Cheliax during the Age of Enthronement. Every single illustration, portrait, illuminated first letter in a chapter, and marginal decoration in this book contributes to one of more alchemical formulae. Each formula is scattered across dozens of pages in tiny fragments, referring to one another via esoteric lore references, coded symbology, and mathematical correspondences. Flipping through the pages, the entire text is likely the most densely packed formulary ever seen, being, in one single volume, a variant on the normally four-tome Formulae of Master Gebr. Hidden within the illustrations are also fragments of designs and schematics for various alchemical engines and mechanical works, many far more advanced than would be expected from a book published so long ago. Cheliax contains the following Formulae:
Preparation Ritual (Spontaneous Bomb): If at least three formulae are prepared from the formulae in Cheliax, the preparer has a trick up their sleeve in relation to their bombs. Once per day, as a swift action, they can apply a bomb discovery they qualify for (but do not yet know) to a bomb. This does not allow multiple non-stacking discoveries to be used on a single bomb.
