The cramped quarters prevent Sorin from getting into position to attack. He'll double-move to .
The red-faced man dodges the point of Almar's rapier as he pulls the heavy oaken door open. He steps into the fog that spills in from the outside, and with a pained grunt, sprouts two ravenlike wings. His strange features become more grotesque: his already prodigious nose grows larger, and his pointed teeth extend. With what seems like one fluid motion, Almar drops his rapier, draws his pistol, and fires. The BOOM echoes through the large hall.
The shot grazes your foe's neck. His hand goes to the wound. "That weapon...you're the one that he said would come."
Raziel steps over to see the shapechanger, and releases another bolt of Sarenrae's fire.
I'll let my glaive clatter to the floor. I'll then move to drawing my hammer as I do so and attack.
Raziel's firebolt strikes the creature squarely in the chest.
"No! Oni do not fall to apes!" he screams, flapping his wings furiously, lifting off the ground towards the open sky. Sorin's hammer catches him in the shoulder and pulls him back to earth with a sickening crunch. He lies motionless, in a twisted heap. His red skin begins to blister, and the feathers of his wings begin to singe. It is as if the heat of Sarenrae's holy fire has washed over him.
"Oni," Sorin says trying to recall the Tien word. "Some type of demon if I recall. I wonder what mad game it was playing at here? Regrettable that it did not honor its surrender."
"Oni are foul demons, and tricksters...never to be trusted. This one has the look of a tengu, however. Very strange..."
With that Setomi walks to where the remains of the creature lay, and remove its head from its body is one quick strike. She throws the head into the room the creature just attempted to leave, then searches the body.

Setomi lies out the items she found on the creatures body for all the others to see.
"I don't doubt the key is useful though I would be loathe to use any of the items this foul creature wore; these particular weapons aren't well suited to me anyways."
Setomi eyes the Kusarigama as the others look over the spoils. She waits to see if anyone wishes the weapon before moving take it. She had studied several pages in her book about the weapon, and wishes to see what it is like.
"Ummm...if no one objects, I would like to take this item. I do not think it is tainted with the Oni's evil, but if you are fearful of such, perhaps you can discern if it is evil, or otherwise tainted?"
The oni's body begins to smolder. Smoke rises from its mangled tunic.
Sorin steps away from the body, uncertain of what magic is at work. He'll use Detect Evil on the items as he does so.
The body and the head, though separated by Setomi's blade, both catch fire. Acrid smoke rises from the oni's remains.
Raziel will use his Detect Magic to see if any of the items are magical.
"Well, if no one else wants it, I supose I can make use of the bow. It isn't really my style but it may prove useful."
"I would like the Kusarigama. Is there any way for you to tell what its abilities might be?
"I could, but it would take time," Raziel replies. "Ameiko is still missing, and we do not what other creatures still lie in wait for us."
This large room rather sparse. Excepting the rotting banners which hang from the ceiling and the ornately carved wooden throne, everything within is hewn stone.
There is a door right in front of you, through which Kikonu was apparently trying to flee. You spot another door along the northern wall, a third door on the western wall, a huge pair of double doors on the south side of the room, and another pair of large doors near where you came in through the secret passage.
"Which way shall we proceed? Through the portal that the 'oni'was trying to flee, or another path?"
"I'm not sure," Sorin says with a bit of frustration as he looks at all the doors. "I don't believe the oni was master of this place. The layout of this place is a complete mystery to me; Ameiko could be anywhere."
Sorin continues to look around as if to glean some magical insight into which way to go. "I have this uncomfortable feeling that I've forgotten something but, if I have, it continues to elude me."
Setomi looks around the room, checking each door for locks before coming back to the group.
I hope everyone's doing okay. The area I live in has been hit pretty hard by severe flu this year.
I am not sure about that either. The game I am running I just place a link to the picture in my google drive and give the players access to it. I wish there was a simpler way!
I think you can do that. I usually extract the map or whatever, and copy it to paint. Then make any changes and save it. Finally I drag and drop it into my google docs and then post the link on the board for the players to see (remember to allow access to those with the link...it is a toggle that you just need to check off when moving the item into google docs) I will send you an example so you can see what it is like.

The door creaks open, revealing a short hallway, which seems to lead into a larger chamber. There is a feeling of strange serenity that seems to permeate the air.
"Did you hear that?? That voice....did anyone else hear it?"
"Yes, a faint whisper...'blessed be the liberators'?"
Raziel takes a half step back, and holds his holy symbol ready. "Knowing that tragedy befell this place, there may be a haunt here."
The whispers fade and all is silent.
Raizel cautiously steps forward into the room.
