I actually recall a jackie chan film where he was a cook and some bad guys were after him. he was giving a cooking demo and was flipping shrimp into the mouth of the audience. when the bad guy came up he flipped him a hot pepper, while distracted with that he turned to run.
Central here, but I work flex shift at my job, and with a string of quits and a few people being fired (don't rob from your workplace, folks!) my schedule is a little... odd right now. That said, I also tend to stay up late and can play catch up and lead usually after 21:00 -6 GMT (9pm Central, for those who don't understand).

Sorry for lack of posts. Life blew up in my face and I had to jump the state border (which is two hours away) for a few days for a family medical emergency. It's calmed now, so I'll be able to start posting later today after I get some sleep.

Just slept like a log. Grandparent nearly passed, but should be released from hospital in the next day or two. Somehow, and we are still at a loss, both of their lungs collapsed at once.

Just to explain things a little out of character. Kaaji is a patient planner, that comes from his training as a ranger and family hunting. He tends to try to lead by his experience, but as is noticed doors not communicate effectively or at all sometimes. He just thinks it's not a necessity. I think you'll all come to understand him deeply as we go and his actions and quirks are more developed.
Just posting plenty of notice in all my games: I'm booked in for surgery on the 15th of April. Nothing major, just several tooth extractions in preparation for braces. But I'll probably be groggy as hell and feeling sorry for myself for a few days afterward, so if I don't post much for about the next week, just GMPC me.
Of course, I could be on all the time due to being stuck at home, so hey, who knows.
And for what it's worth, I like Kaaji's quirks.

To clarify, that's the week after the surgery. And yeah, it's going to suck. At least pulling teeth is nice and routine. I'll be under a general anaesthetic, because I hate dental work.
