I think you're probably right Corrleon. I didn't realise the speed you could travel at.
The wisps of mist slip without resistance through the half inch gap between the gate and the outer wall of Ivoryglass.
The gate opens into a large chamber.
Slender ice pillars support the tall roof of this sweeping gallery. Thick blocks of translucent crystal set in the roof allow some outside light to illuminate the area.
Ornamental rock gardens line both sides of a wide flagstone path running through the center of the chamber. A dozen alabaster statues, all depicting the same draconic figure, flank the pillars on either side of the path.
A large white dragon, sweeping through the room and clearly practicing it's fighting skills slips easily between the pillars despite the fact it appears somewhat misshapen and clearly blind.

Elleross Oronar |

Elleross breathes a sigh of relief as they pass through the gate without incident and as they find themselves faced with this new threat he leads the others up toward the ceiling and then following the wall he leads then around the room toward the exit opposite.
gonna fly up to the ceiling and move around the rooms outer edge to the exit and attempt to slip past this dragon

Corum Mac Roth |

The sensation of being transformed into a gaseous state is deeply disconcerting for the burly warrior. He fights for self control as his rage instinctively begins to rise in response to the magical stimuli.
He manages to maintain his composure then Elthey begin to move toward the fortress. At first slowly then with increasing speed. At one point he thinks the guards may have spotted them but the moment passes as their speed increases again. Corum begins to smile as they hurtle across the ice at incredible speed. He had never imagined moving so fast and his blood begins to sing.
They enter the fortress through a crack between the gates and then he sees the Dragon. His warrior's instinct kicks in and he grips the spear in readiness. Then Elleross moves up and across the roof. The Dragon continues its writhing so Corum moves after him but he watches the beast closely.

Elleross Oronar |

They had ridden their luck so far, passing the gate and some of the fortresses denizens and Elleross saw no reason not to continue.
As the corridor before them splits he keeps to the centre way, leading them deeper into ivory glass.

Massive stone plinths line both sides of this long, arched hallway. Over half the plinths are in use, displaying the skeletal remnants of draconic creatures.
Sheets of ice sheathe some of the skeletons, holding their ossified remains arranged as if in life, while others are merely jumbled piles of bones.
The corridor continues west from this location deeper into the base.
I checked the spell and you aren't as cloaked as I assumed. You are basically just wispy versions of yourselves. That might change things

Corrleon Daxio |

Corrleon, growing uneasy at the increasing prospect of the group being pinched between enemies on both sides, advances toward the westward leading corridor. Once within the narrower hall, the triaxian begins to shed his misty form.

Corum Mac Roth |

Growing tired and bored of drifting through the citadel, Corum watches with interest as Corrleon seems to begin to solidify. Realizing the Triaxan would be isolated should they encounter any foes, the warrior also begins to resist the spell to return to his solid form.

Greyston Fenris |

Oh... I assumed the spell turn us in too little clouds.
Greyston curses to himself when he see's Corrleon and Corum turn back into their sold form. He floats over to them and does the same. "Whats the matter? I thought we were following Elleross?" He turns as he speaks to look around again. "This isn't a good place to stand we needed to find a safer place." He takes out a potion and drink it.

Elleross Oronar |

Rematerialising with the others Elleross looks around at them.
we have breached the lions den but now what? We are surrounded by enemies. he says as he becomes himself again
