Elleross Oronar |

Looking up into the sky for a few moments as if seeking some kind of inspiration he sighs heavily and silently he curses .
Though he was almost out of spells and weary beyond words he knew he could not stay behind but he also knew that once his few spells were gone he was of little use to the party.
I do not wish to accompany him Corrleon but I will accompany him.
If Corum and the others are going then so must I.
Can someone find me a damn cross bow? At least I can give them some kind of help once my remaining spells are spent he says somewhat testily
I'm assuming I can get a light crossbow and some bolts from somewhere j

Greyston Fenris |

Greyston hauls himself up wiping off the snow clinging to his clothes. "Let's just get this done." He searches for his flask and takes a long sip the bitterness of it warming him up and dulling his senses as he again throws himself headlong into a fight.
I have 3 bombs left a load of alchemist fires and some spells but no healing

Lucrezzia Luzatto |

I have my healing spells, and many of my buffs, but no more channels and no more offensive spells. Fortunately, hexes last forever ;)
"Maybe we can bring a modicum of peace to Triax. That's worth something, right?"

Corum Mac Roth |

I got me a csw and cmw. Oh and a big chopper!

Corum Mac Roth |

Corum snaps his fingers as he suddenly has an idea "Ellie, go get the but. You can control it. Damned weird bloody magic thing it is but it can do some serious damage."

Elleross Oronar |

Elleross smiles kindly at Corum as he becomes animated, the sudden idea to use the hut Was a good one but unfortunately he had no idea how difficult it was.
a grand idea Corum but unfortunately I have no means to control the hut. It is quite beyond my understanding I am sorry to say.
We have no way to utilise the power of the hut, I am afraid we are on our own

Sapphire |

Sapphire can still fly
Tired, low on resources and plenty of enemy left, sounds like every longer-term conflict I've ever signed on for!
Sapphire laughs briefly
Not even a question Corum, my sword and your axe.
She nods at Corrleon
We swore we'd help end the conflict, nothing else left to talk about, lead on!

![]() |

Let's just assume those that can't fly get a ride anyway.
Bescaylie and Exfrixes, the pair who originally brought you to Spurhorn land beside the group. They are followed by another pair of Dragonkin hailed forth by Commander Pharamol.
We're going to do this fast! the Commander says, a gleaming broadsword held in one mailed fist. Malisender will regret coming here for the short time she still draws breath.
He kicks his companion into flight and, carried by the other Dragonkin you too are soon in the air, rising high above the bloody and smoking Spurhorn. You cling on, none of you particularly experienced riders, especially not of flying creatures but you get a sense that you would not be allowed to fall, even if you came under fire. Corrleon is more comfortable than the rest and is able to hold on with his knees while he restrings his bow.
Before long you are over the enemy camp but the tents are all but empty now, hundreds of troops are scattered, gathering up any equipment they can carry as they prepare to flee the battle.
In amongst them, a whiteish-gold dragonkin stands gesticulating with her arms, roaring at soldiers as they run past, doing her best to rally them. Some listen, especially as they see your squadron closing in and snatch up weapons in response.
Commander, we should hold them off! Bescaylie shouts above the wind.
Yes! he agrees. We'll keep her bodyguards at bay while you engage. Make her suffer, make her rue this day! he pulls up alongside Corum's mount and hands him something. Drive this into her black heart and tell her it is from the Mandate!
It is a single Dragon-bane arrow
The group pulls up and quickly drops you off in the clearing. Malisender spots you and pulls a wicked looking scimitar from a sheathe.
You companions take off again just as quickly, engaging the soldiers that have rallied around.

You are on the ground 50 feet away. Those that can fly can be in the air at the start of this fight if you like but will still be 50ft away
Map coming later

Corum Mac Roth |

As they fly toward their foe the Commander offers Corum the arrow. He nods. "Yeah. Just after I take her head with this." He brandished his sword.
They land and Corum immediately begins to close the distance between him and the General, letting his rage descend as he strides forward.

Corrleon Daxio |

Corrleon sighs inwardly at Pharamol's fiery words, the reasons for his departure so many years before clarified once more. There has been enough suffering for one day, hasn't there? How quickly the strong can turn cruel.
As Corrleon dismounts, his draw is lightning fast but he holds his shot, instead calling out to the opposing general. "Malisinder! Your siege is broken and your army scatters! Surrender, please! Or it will be your blood mingling with the rivers that have already been spilt this day!"

Greyston Fenris |

On the flight over Greyston holds on for his life, the flight not helping with his stomach. jumping off the mount he wobbles as he adjusts to solid ground. I'm not doing that again. He thinks to himself as he takes out a potion and drinks it while moving forward in the deep snow.

Elleross Oronar |

The flight was not a comfortable one as he fought to stay astride the dragon kin and as they descend on the enemy camp he is grateful to climb down onto the ground.
Imago , speculo, reflexionum
mirror image focused spell: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Drawing on what little magic he has left he splits his image into multiple duplicates of himself, should he be attacked it may buy him some time.
Grasping his crossbow he moves after the others

Corum Mac Roth |

As he moves forward Corum begins to circle to the right, as Sapphire circles to the left. Instinctively they both seek to catch the General between them like hammer and anvil.

Lucrezzia Luzatto |

Lucrezzia steps forward and hexes the Dragonkin. All while keeping covered by the tent and totem pole adjacent to the tent's entrance.
Misfortune; DC23 Will or roll twice on most d20s :)

Sapphire follows Corum's lead and begins moving to a flanking position on the other side of the camp, hoping to catch the general in a pincer movement.
Round 1 - Enemy
Surrender? So that I can spend the rest of my days rotting in those ice prisons beneath Spurhorn? I'd rather die... or better still, just kill you!

Sapphire |

Sapphire would have cast blur during the group's descent, and activated blade enhancement as she moved to flank
Having moved to a flanking position, Sapphire's blade erupts in to the familiar red-gold flame. Then and in the blink of an eye her magic carries her across the ground, her sword snaking out stabbing at the general's form again and again...

Lucrezzia Luzatto |

Lucrezzia follows Malesinder in and casts Fortune on Sapphire, hugging the closest tent for cover.
Sapphire, you may call upon this good luck once per round, allowing it to reroll any ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, taking the better result. I'd give it to Corum, but he'd save.

Greyston Fenris |

Grayston rushes around the tent and is in a perfect spot to bomb the Dragon. "I've had enough! You won't be leaving here alive." He shouts out as he lobs a bomb at the dragon's chest.

Elleross Oronar |

As the general surges into the air Elleross is none too surprised she decided not to surrender.
With only moments to react he sees the dragon kind intent and as the cone of freezing energy rushes toward him he barks out a word of power and holds his hands outward as if pushing against something.
Impetu sphaera!
Suddenly an invisible barrier springs up all around him and the freezing breath weapon slams into it and is harmlessly deflected.
casting emergency force sphere j as an immediate action.
Elleross is going to do nothing this round, going to stay within the barrier and see what happens next.

Corum Mac Roth |

is she flying?

Corum Mac Roth |

Even in the midst if his rage Corum realises he needs to change tactic. He can't reach the General while she flies so he sheath his sword and reaches behind him for his bow. He quickly strings it and nocks an arrow.

The General turns on Sapphire and slices her badly across the shoulder. The attack is followed by a flurry of claws, bites and further sword slashes but fortunately Lucrezzia's bewitching sends the attacks wide of the mark.
Sapphire, one hit got through. Greyston, you hit also.

Corrleon, face still drawn tight with the grave weight of the conflict, draws his bow yet again. "Yrax may have elevated you for your fury, Malesinder, but you are a fool, in the end. You, and your siege, are broken." He punctuates this last with a carefully drawn arrow and a sad shake of his head.

Elleross Oronar |

. Not much I can do here really, I am out of offensive spells :(
Elleross watches the fight rage in the air above and knows he can do very little to help.
Glancing down at the crossbow in his hand he draws a bolt and fits it into place.
I wish you were here firing bolts at this thing Dell, I don't think I will match up to your skills he says to himself as he raises the bow and with a curt gesture and a word of power he dismisses the protective force field around him.

Lucrezzia Luzatto |

Lucrezzia concentrates first on Corum, giving him a bit of luck, too. Then she chants to reinforce the hex on Sapphire.
