Greyston's a drunk now, so that kind of mix up makes sense =)
Real talk though: I don't see Shatha on the map any longer. Shatha's still alive, yeah?
After reeling from a devastating blow to his chest, Corrleon borrows some of Apsu's grace for himself before skirting out of reach of the glaive-wielding dragonkin beside him. As he darts around the field, he looks for the safest route to get to Shatha's side.

Sapphire! We have to help her now Elleross shouts out urgently as he sees her bloodied body drifting down to the ground, hurrying to her side he preys she still lives.

Greyston Fenris |

Greyston ducks just in time to dodge the dragons ferocious attack but turns as he hears her screams, Sapphire cut down her body slowly drifts to the ground and his heart sinks.
Not her... Not her! He screams in rage as he dashes towards her in the snow, his muscles burning and lungs on fire all forgotten as he skids on his knees down to her bloodied body.
"Don't you leave me! You were the strongest you couldn't be hurt!" He pulls at her fur coat examining her wounds as he throws off his satchel and mixes up a potion.

Sapphire sits up and takes ina a massive breath of air, eyes fluttering. She seems to snap back to realising where she is, spares a tired smile for Greyston and mouths 'thanks', before shoving herself upright and scanning the battlefield ready to leap back in to the fray.

He then looks up and seeing that Greyston and Lucrezzia are able to attend to Sapphire, he pulls his bow and calls out, "Daxionnen Apsulanti!" A bolt of white flashes down from the sky above, limning him in a soft, white glow. Empowered once more by his faith in Apsu, he draws a pair of arrows and lets fly at the dragonkin that had cut Sapphire down a moment before.

In a final effort to repel the Drakelands attackers, the Dragon Legion commander takes to the air astride his gold dragonkin. Commander Pharamol and Amerenth attempt to rally the scattered and exhausted Dragon Legion aerial troops, exhorting them to reform and sweep through the equally tired Drakelanders.
The defenders respond and even Shatha, already so severely wounded, pulls herself back into the air and can be seen among the Drakelands blasting with her breath weapon and slashing with her glaive.
Another siege tower rumbles up, a last desperate attempt to gain a foothold on Spurhorn's walls and with the defenders wounded and tired, it has every chance to succeed. Slowly, almost inevitably, it wheels to the wall and the ramp even begins to descend. That is, until Zusk and Herjan come hurtling out of the clouds like a black comet falling to ground. Drenched from head to toe and from horn to tail in blood, arrows, cuts, spear holes and any number of other wounds crisscrossing their bodies, the pair roar in unison.
Thy smash into the side of the tower in a suicidal collision course, sending it rocking and reeling - even am small amount as the weight shifts and an axle breaks and suddenly the whole thing is coming toppling down atop the hydra that pushed it there.
With a roar of approval the men and women on the walls surge forward for a last time.
Pharamol swoops down screaming;
For Spurhorn! For the Accord!
As one the wall defenders press forward against the attackers who had scaled the towers and cut and blast their way through them in a bloody ballet.
After long, long hours of brutal warfare, the siege of Spurhorn is broken and the remaining defenders flee back to their camp, others simply fly into the distance and more still try to scale the canyon walls, escaping a place and a battle destined to go down in legend.
Congratulations, you have made a significant contribution to the defence of Spurhorn and won a Resounding Victory.

Corrleon Daxio |

As the dragonkin falls to the combined efforts of Greyston and Sapphire, Corrleon exhales deeply and lets the foot of his bow drop to the stone. Leaning on his weapon briefly as a staff, he looks up at Shatha cutting through the sky and smiles softly despite his obvious exhaustion. At Pharamol's shout, Corrleon lifts his voice in echoed support, "For Spurhorn! For the Accord!"
Once the group is clustered together and far enough away from any downed foes, Corrleon releases the last vestiges of grace granted to him. White light limns him once more, like long drops of water falling upward off his body before it vanishes in two distinct blooms of pearlescent warmth.

Elleross Oronar |

Grey and exhausted, Elleross feels little elation at their victory, he is just glad it is over.
He cannot recall ever feeling so drained, so tired and so sore.
I can't believe it is finally over he says wearily , numb from all the fighting he looks out at the piles of the dead and dying and he cannot help but feel a great sadness at the futility of war you did your people proud Corrleon. he says softly as he limps heavily away from the battlements.
now I suggest we seek out the commander, we have an eagle to see he says, despite his pain and fatigue he could feel the curse pulling at him.

![]() |

At that moment Pharamol lands beside you and dismounts.
Good work. he says quickly in draconic. Damned good work. We've had our losses but theirs are far greater.
Their will is bent but I mean to see it broken! he says fiercely. General Malisinder is still out there trying to stop a full scale desertion. While she is camped out there the siege holds, even tenuously.
He clenches a mailed fist and says;
Help me finish her. You will have the eagle and anything else I can provide.

Corum Mac Roth |

With their skirmish in the courtyard brought to a bloody conclusion Corum rushes to the wall to bolster the defences. He guys and thrustsbwith wild abandon; leaving a line of dead and maimed soldiers in his wake. At one point the press of bodies is too tight for swords to be swung and he chokes the man before him to death.
He roars in triumph as the attack breaks and the defenders finally clear the walls.
Bleeding from a dozen cuts he finds the others and claps them all on the back. "bloody good fight that!"
He can see Elleross is tired and moves to help him sit as the Commander lands.
He waits for his words to be translated and smiles.
"What I said at the start. Cut off the head of the snake. I'm in. You have my sword Commander."

Greyston Fenris |

Sapphire I think you missed my heal on you for 32 also.
Greyston just slumps to the floor and then lays facing up looking up into the sky. Cry and shouts of battle still going off in the distance but he just needs to rest, his head still spinning from the alcohol and exhaustion.
He lays there and listens as the commander asks them to help him yet again, closing his eyes he doesn't put up a fight whatever the other decides he will go but he doesn't have it in him to even speak.

Elleross Oronar |

Elleross looks at the commander with flat tired eyes and shakes his head
if you mean to strike at her today then I wish you the best of luck, I have exhausted my powers and will not be accompanying you he says wearily if you can wait until tomorrow then I will be able to help you

![]() |

By tomorrow she may have mustered whatever forces she has left and maintain a hold on the siege. In days to follow she could call for reinforcements. the Commander shakes his head.
We are all injured, exhausted and low on resources. But still, we fly within the hour. I hope to use what I have left of the Dragon Legion to harry her troops as they flee and give you the diversion you need to head straight for her camp and finish her. he adds as he lays out his plan.

Corum Mac Roth |

Corum looks at Elleross with sympathy. The elderly man is all but spent. He says "It's ok Ellri. War is a young man's game. You've done more than your share. You all hsve but I'll take the burden for you. I am still fresh and ready to take the fight to them."
He turns to the Commander. "Strike while the iron is hot. I need healing potions just in case and someone to carry me though. I can't fly like them." He nods toward the dragonkin.

Corrleon Daxio |

Corrleon nods to Elleross in understanding, "My power too is spent. But if you wish to accompany your brash and bloodthirsty companion, I will stay near you. If you can, take this time to ready any scrolls or other tools you might have or be able to acquire." His next words are offered to the group as a whole, and are heavy with weight and warning. "Malisinder is not to be trifled with though. She is a fearsome warrior and earned well her position within Yrax's horde. Take her lightly at your peril."
You have any juice left for heals and such, Lucrezzia? If we wind up needing any in this upcoming kerfluffle, I'm plumb out.
