All of a sudden Corum feels a slight burn as the ice around him is melted by greyston's fusilade. He roars "Yes!" and charges across the courtyard at the spell caster. His sword held high over his head, he closes quickly and delivers a massive overhead cut at the Mage.

Moving back along the wall he hustles through the snow as fast as he can, he cannot see the barbarians from where he is, nor can he see the doorway.
At last he can see what is going on and he has to try and stop the barbarians from breaching the door.
Focusing his mind he weaves a spell
Dimensionum, spatium,altiorum, spicati !
Suddenly a pit opens up before the doorway.
I'm hoping if I move along the wall I can see enough of the building to cast spiked pit in front of the door. I can cast it up to 200 feet .

Combat Over
Your stout defence has proven again that it was a good decision to trust you. But the fortress is still swarming with attackers.
For close to an hour that battle rages. The courtyard is filled with broken and bloodied bodies. As attackers advance, defenders cut them down until it seems like the walls of the very fortress itself are crying bloody tears that fall in streams and pool below.
You hack and blast your way through those remaining in the courtyard, taking bloody wounds of your own that are patched up by the icy touch of the Snow Seers as they pass you in the tumult.
As the day draws to a close, General Malesinder launches her dragonkin against Spurhorn’s defenders in a final effort to capture the aerie. A lethal dance of wing and claw plays out in the skies above. Drakes and dragonkin slash and tear at each other’s wings to knock their foes from the skies.
Mortally wounded dragons fall to their deaths, their shattered bodies lying broken and
bleeding upon Spurhorn’s battlements.
In the skies above Spurhorn, a severely wounded silver Dragon Legion dragonkin named Shatha, lacking both rider and saddle, struggles valiantly to fight off a group of Drakelands dragonkin. A gold enemy dragonkin blasts Shatha with its fiery breath weapon, while a blue one barrels into him, driving him to the ground in Spurhorn’s northwest courtyard.
Injured and helpess, the drakes and dragonkin close in for the kill. You have seen many of the brave Dragon Legion fall today, but at least this time you are close enough to help.

Elleross Oronar |

Weary beyond words Elleross hobbles after the others, struggling to reach the fallen dragonkin, so many had died today he was adamant this one would not.
As Corrleon rushes toward them Elleross moves the other way trying to get into a better position.
Calling upon his last reserves of power he calms his mind and begins to weave a spell, his hands trace arcs of electricity in the air as he builds the spells power, magnifying its potential and as the streams of energy ripple down his arms he suddenly pulls his hands apart sharply and a massive bolt of lightning suddenly arcs between the drakes.

"I don't have a lot left! But we have to try." He pushes himself forward muscles burning and joints aching, he sprints in the snow forward to get close enough to try and help.
