Ugun, half-orc witch
I am traveling for business tonight so will not be able to update until tomorrow night. As for pace I cannot predict how busy I will be from one week to another. I am interested in the game and will not abandon it but I cannot give you an ironclad guarantee of a pace. It will vary from day to day and week to week. If that is not sufficient for you, then you can leave the game and if enough people do so, that will be the end of the game. I can't make gurantees because my crystal ball is not working. So decide.
Man, too bad about your crystal ball. :)
Seriously, there's no need for anyone to get upset here. This is a game and we all want to have fun so please being offended is NOT allowed! :)
That being said, back when you posted recruitment for this game you said Oh and a post a day at a minimum is your commitment.
Crystal ball jokes aside, what's your best guess for the pace of the game now? And no one can hold your feet to the fire if you can't make your expected rate. We all understand about life (job, family, etc.) but I'd like to know how often you will be posting. Are you aiming for 1/day minimum or 3 times per week?
Ugun, half-orc witch
I wasn't offended...I was mad...lol. Asking me for a guarantee?! Lol...I am going to try and aim for the 1/day minimum post and will advise when I can't meet it. Best I can do.
That's better than I expected.
Count me in please.
Game on!

I'm going to respectfully bow out of this game.
GM: please place me as inactive at your earliest convenience.
You may of course do with Ugun as best fits your story.
You all have fun kicking some giant-butt. :)
Game on!

Well, for whatever reason, my work has decided that the d20pfsrd needs to be firewalled, so I can't go look up the rules for escaping a grapple. I don't suppose anyone would mind summarizing them for me? Otherwise I can't post an action until I get home tonight.
Morti Hearthstone
If you are grappled, you can attempt to break the grapple as a standard action by making a combat maneuver check (DC equal to your opponent’s CMD; this does not provoke an attack of opportunity) or Escape Artist check (with a DC equal to your opponent’s CMD). If you succeed, you break the grapple and can act normally.
Alternatively, if you succeed, you can become the grappler, grappling the other creature (meaning that the other creature cannot freely release the grapple without making a combat maneuver check, while you can).
Instead of attempting to break or reverse the grapple, you can take any action that doesn’t require two hands to perform, such as cast a spell or make an attack or full attack with a light or one-handed weapon against any creature within your reach, including the creature that is grappling you. See the grappled condition for additional details.
Also, I found this flowchart a life saver when my last group had a grapple-crazy monk in it.

Glad to hear you made it through the storm, GM! We don't know much about hurricanes up here in the Great Lakes, but that one seemed pretty high CR.
Sorry for slow posting, been unexpectedly busy on the road for work the past few days.

Been holding my breath and waiting to get chopped down over here! ....Not gonna complain too much, but thanks for the barb's apparent lapse of any ability to sense weakness. :)

Giant, any chance you'd be willing to let me retrain the Furious Focus feat into Cleave? It would require some member of the crew having the Cleave feat, since no one in the party has it, but it's a common enough feat it doesn't seem that unlikely.

Yeah, sure. Also fix your character sheet - +12 hit, 1d10+10 (+12/1d10+13 single attack or charge); with power attack, +10 hit, 1d10+16 (+10/1d10+19 single attack or charge). Also I have you with 2 skill points to spend.
Barundar Hammerfist
Giant, my HeroLab has me with the correct number of skill points; 11 adventuring skill points (2 Climb, 4 Intimidate, 2 K:Dungeoneering, 2 Survival, 1 Swim) and 10 background skill points (1 Handle Animal, 4 K:Engineering, 4 K:History, 1 Linguistics)
I think I've got my character sheet fixed the way you're talking about, but would you look and make sure? Thanks!
Morti Hearthstone
Updated, sorry for delay -- had limited computer access to fuss with the actua sheet yesterday.

Gear-wise -- at least the CLW and lesser resto wands were bought for group healing, right? Am I the only one left who can use those?
Falric has CLW on his bard spell list so he can use those wands as well as the wand of invisibility, so how about this and we stash the rest to sell when we get back to civilization?
Falric: Belt of Dex +2, Wand of Invisibility and Wand of CLW (3 charges), and 4 acid flasks and alchemist fires.
Elisen: Wand of Cat's Grace and Mage armor and Cause Fear scrolls
Bar: Potion of Cure Serious Wounds, (2) potion of cure light, +1 longbow
Morti: Remove fear scroll, Wand of CLW, potion hide from undead, scroll of spear of purity, potion of resist energy, elixir of swimming

I think initiative is back to the wisp.
I checked a couple of our GM's other games, and it doesn't look like he's updated those either. I DMed him just now; hope everything's okay.
Barundar Hammerfist
I'd be alright with continuing. Thanks for PMing me about this! I had the game hidden so it wouldn't keep showing up on my active games. I'll take that off until the others have answered you.
Elisen Renard
I think I am going to go ahead and let this game go. I’ve sort of lost Eli’s character over time.
Good luck to the rest of you and hope things are going well for everyone!
Falric Dawnstriker
I would be interested in continuing. Guess it's up to Morti.
Morti Hearthstone
Hey, I'm here, and would be interested in trying to build up momentum again!
Sorry for radio silence, I've been alternating between traveling and being buried in work for a month, and mostly not checking in on the forums; didn't give any notice of absence in this game b/c didn't think anybody'd be seeing it.
Morti Hearthstone
Unless Falric has already bungee jumped off the bridge, I have questions!
Where are the stairs down? Are they in the greenhouse room, or do we have to go through the dragonfly room to get to the stairs? I'm worried about all jumping down the rope in one place and being pinned down, unable to flank, etc -- if the stairs are direct (no dragonfly), at least one of us should go that way.
I assume this thing has decent reach --I'm thinking I can use Aggrimosh to enlarge person Bar, so he gets boosted reach and damage; I can change my selfish-teamwork feat to Escape Route to maneuver around you guys without AOOs....and Falric can just skip in close. ;) Or I can stand back a bit and domain-haste you?
Falric Dawnstriker
I have not jumped yet. Ok, this is what I understood. On the map in this room with Ewigga (not on the bridge), there is a door north that leads to stairs leading down to the dragonfly room. What is past that room we have no idea, but it is my contention that past that room will eventually lead to the door on the ground floor (80' down) on the eastern side of the greenhouse. So sending someone alone that way is a no-no.
Enlarge and Haste sound like good options.
Morti Hearthstone
Oh yeah, right! Been a while, and I've forgotten all the neat stuff we can do. Maybe the hammer's enlarge is better used on me so I can get more than 5ft reach, then.
Speaking of, I've got a bane ability for 5 round/day -- the tendriculos is fey-type, right? know(nature) to identify: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Falric Dawnstriker
Darn, forgot about that and my current Str loss. It does not affect me in combat but with skills, yeah. Guess I'm going to need one of you strong dwarves to help me down.
