Hearing the conversation between Hedran and Father Nolan, Rate shrugs, "I meant no offense asking about the graves. I just figure once your dead, your dead. Why keep something that you can let someone else use. But I don't want to be disrespectful if it's that important." He nods towards Bear, "Besides, Bear and I don't need a lot of stuff anyway. For what it's worth father, thanks again, the ice armor you made Bear is better than any I could make for him."
now
Seeing the large piles of grass shambling forward, Ratel starts to consider what he should do.

Grenwold and Fenton assist Hedran with the replacement of the lids. ”Happy to do that, I don’t think they’d want us to go without if we truly could use the items, but it isn’t like this stuff helps us enormously. I’m glad we checked though, Hedran. It was a good idea.”

”It’s a form of respect. Since they chose to be interred here with their gear, I would respect their last wishes. The Chernasardo Rangers are heroes of the land, afterall.” Father Noelan answers. "I do not know how you handle this among your people,” He looks meaningfully at Ratel, ”But for us it is not an uncommon custom. Nessen was also buried with his gear. And besides – another Chernasardo Ranger already told you how he wanted the matter to be handled, so I’d defer to him, since its his people you’re talking about.”
Father Noelan nods approvingly as Hedran puts the sarcophagi lids back where they used to be.”Rest well, Dargrit Foehewer and Ekaterin Fletcher.” He intones. As they leave the place, he closes the vault door, removes the keys, passing them to Cirieo, then helps Cirieo pile rocks on the vault door to hide it once more from cursory inspection.
Now
The Shambling mound raises its vines, as if surprised at being talked to. ” Իհարկե, բայց սոված եմ: Կերակրիր ինձ! Մոտ 10 օր սննդամթերք, ես առանձնապես չեմ վերաբերվում թե թարմ է, թե չոր: Ես հեշտ եմ:”
Sure, but I’m hungry. Feed me! About 10 days of meats, I’m not particular about whether it’s fresh or dried. I’m easy.
Feed him?
GM Mort
Grenwold pours a whole lot of jerky out of the bag of holding for the shambling mound, and it dances a happy dance, waving its vines to the beat of some unknown music as it happily munches the jerky by the bushes and the party passes by it without incident.
Lose 10 trail rations worth of food
GM Mort
After leaving the shambling mound behind, it is getting dark, so the party decides to set up camp for the night. The rain and winds are now starting to abate.
Four rather wet, damp wolves that smell like wet dog visit the camp at night and whine at Nigel.
The weather was horrible… We tried hiding under the trees but still got wet. Urgh. We found a grove of cherry trees, around a pond with lots of animals, but there were things that looked half bird half bear that didn’t look too friendly, so we didn’t get any closer.

Nigel helps to reseal the tombs.
Whilst piling things up, he nods to Cirieo and Father Noelan.
"Ve have found a lot of zings - surely ze tvo of you could use some of zem? Take a look, and let us knov. At ze very least, you should each take a Cloak of Resistance +1, and Cirieo, you should take ze +1 Chain Shirt...?"
I figure that if we *ask* them if there is anything that they want, they can tell us ;-)
With the Wolves:
Nigel greets them warmly.
Using his new gloves, he runs his hands over them, leaving them dry, and well-groomed.
Prestidigitation is awesome ;-)
He then turns to the others.
"Ze volves found a cherry tree grove, guarded by ovlbears - perhaps ve should take a look at zat at some point?"
Where on the map?
Now:
Nigel blearily stands up, drawing his MW Cold Iron Lantern Staff, and lets everyone know everything he knows about giant roaches.

Already Stated G on exploration map. As for what Father Noelan and Cirieo want, I'll get back to you later on it.

Cirieo picks out a cloak of resistance, the korrigan club, the bolt of magical beast slaying from the party stash, while Father Noelan takes the lesser rod of extend metamagic, mentioning, "Thanks. This would make it a LOT easier to keep ice armor up. Especially since I'm not feeling up to scratch these days."
Father Noelan also takes a cloak of resistance and Robert's old bow, and the cracked dusty rose prism ioun stone, though he still keeps Raincaller with him. There are reasons.
Ratel Dier
Waking bleary eyed, Ratel rolls out of his bedroll, grasping his shield as he stands up. Nudging Bear, "Come on Bear, there are giant bugs." He and Bear then move outside of the brush he was sleeping in.

Misthome - Morning - Day 23
The last night was an extremely hectic one. Torrential downpour has caused quite some inconvenience to the residents of Misthome. Veld’s house has sprung a leak due to a falling rock knocking off part of roof and destroying her dining table. The underground river where Victor was mining his clay pit has flooded over and everyone has been busy the building sandbags to reduce floodwater damage to the adjoining caverns, after everyone was evacuated from the clay pits after the underground river waters started rising. Everyone (including the leshies) has spent the night indoors due to the horrible weather, and are trying to stay warm and dry by the fireside. The morning dawns foggy, as a result of the heavy rains.

Pink lines denote the sandbag barrier erected to contain the flood. Red lines, the barricades.
You are Handiss – second in command of the children in stone. You are currently having a meeting with Ighiz and Slate about the food supply as the troglodyte granary (K8)has now been flooded by the underground river. Bosks and Jez are upset and worried that the edibles such as mushrooms, meat and vegetables there have all been ruined. There may not be enough food soon…unless you could ask the humans for food.

Revelations: Ascetic Armor (Su): You can use meditative techniques that temporarily cause attacks to bounce off your skin, as long as you aren’t wearing armor or carrying a medium or heavy load. These techniques grant you a +4 armor bonus to AC. At 7th level, and every 4 levels thereafter, this bonus increases by 2. At 13th level, the techniques also grant DR 5/unarmed strikes or natural attacks. You can gain the benefits of ascetic armor for 1 hour per day per oracle level. The hours do not need to be consecutive, but you must spend them in 1-hour increments. (It’s on.)
Fleet (Ex): You gain a +10-foot enhancement bonus to your base land speed. You lose this extra speed if you wear any armor or carry a medium or heavy load. At 7th level, and every 6 levels thereafter, this bonus increases by 10 feet. Oracles with the lame oracle curse can’t select this revelation.
Martial Disciple (Su): Through meditation and study of monastic forms of combat, you have learned a lethal form of unarmed combat. You gain Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat, even if you do not meet the prerequisites. You gain the unarmed strike damage of a monk of your oracle level. If you also have monk levels, those levels stack for the purpose of determining your unarmed strike damage.
Lorethiel, the guard on morning shift comes rushing in, triggering the shrieker mushrooms to start shrieking, while yelling,”I see 3 large shapes in the fog but can’t make out what they are!”
What does the party do? Slide 1
GM Mort
The armory is downstairs - you can run down to get it, but its probably going to be 5 rounds to get there. Or you can go to Handiss's room, and grab whatever's in there, in which it's 4 rounds to get there and back.
GM Mort
Handiss - your personal stash only has javelins and not longbows ^^
Also, you could get some troglodytes to help bring stuff, but you'd need to yell orders in draconic
The other troglodytes look at Handiss, puzzled. "Hvað ertu að segja, stjóri?"
What are you saying, boss?
"Hedran"
In draconic, "Get this man a ranged weapon a bow if you can find one."
"Take my javilins for now."
Handiss keeps one javelin for himself.
GM Mort
But you don’t have a bow boss. You said the bows didn’t have enough weight. Only javelins. We’ll bring those javelins.
” En þú hefur ekki boga stjóri. Þú sagðir að boga hafi ekki næga þyngd. Aðeins javelins. Við munum koma með þessi javelín.“Then Sessrok runs off to yell to other trogs to get the javelins.
Check Handiss’s inventory – he already has 3 javelins.
It will take 1 round for the javelins to get delivered by trog delivery - do you wish to wait, or head outside
Ratel Dier
doesn't Azriel bunk above ground, I assume he left his weapons in his home.
Hearing that there are potential invaders, Azriel begins to move toward his cottage, to fetch his bow.
GM Mort
He would, but they needed every hand to build the sandbag wall so everyone's now just drying out at the camp fire after their exertions.
GM Mort
Campfire is in the caverns, below ground, if that helps but it's the upper caverns.
"Hedran"
Handiss is giving over 2 of his javelin to Edran. He is then sending the other trog to get more weapons. Some to get javelins and another to track down a bow.
Handiss will move toward the threat.
In draconic, "Find me when you are equipped."
Grenwold Houtvester
As Ighiz: to Handiss (Hedran)
In draconic: "Handiss, við verðum að ræða við mýktina meira mat fyrir fólk okkar. Sumir af birgðum okkar eru úti. Ég verð líka að tala við einn af hinum snjallu um að koma í veg fyrir þessa flóð - kannski geta þeir stjórnað storminum betur en þeir hafa notað skurður eða eitthvað annað. Við myndum ekki vera í þessu ástandi ef við höfðum ekki aukið hellinn fyrir þá, þannig að við verðum að vinna saman að því að leysa vandamálið.
Hvað er það núna? Annað skrímsli? Við ættum að hugsa um leið til að fela helli okkar."
What is it now? Another monster? We should think of a way to disguise our cave.
Ighiz moves into the hall and casts bless, hoping to catch most of the friendlies.
As Skinder
Skinder gestures to the leshies to retreat deeper into the caves, and moves herself to the edge, peering around the corner to see what she can. "Shoo, shoo! Get to safety." She has tried to keep watch over them in the last few weeks and days when she can, ever since the incident with the owlbear.
GM Mort
Skinder peeks around the corner and thinks that in the fog, those shapes look like more owlbears! They'll take about 3 rounds to arrive to the barricade.
Of course now it's got an ankle breaker ditch and all, which will slow them some
The leshies don't understand what Skinder is saying, but get her shooing gestures and move deeper into the cave.
Out there, the owlbears move closer.
Party up for 2nd round, Veld has her first and second round actions
GM Mort
No one is outside, but she sees in the fog 3 owl bears, getting closer. They'll reach the barricade in two rounds time.
Ratel Dier
Azriel rushes to his domain and grabs his quiver, holding his bow, shortspear and Javalins. He then begins to move to higher ground.
does our palisade have a walkway built yet?
GM Mort
Earlier
The troglodytes return from Handiss stores and give him 5 javelins. "Það er allt sem þú hefur, stjóri." Those sent to track down a bow have not come back yet.
That's all you have boss
The remaining troglodytes also follow Handiss.

A cylindrical mass of roots hangs from the exact center of this room. The roots have been braided together to form a cradle holding a giant glowing violet crystal as big as a human head.Sparkling veins of crystal line the walls. Fernir is also snoozing on the floor, being warmer then outside.
Lorethiel follows Azriel to the walkway.
Yes, next to the walls on walkway.
The owlbears move closer. ETA - 1 round to barricade
Ighizz and Skinder - round 2 actions and round 3, everyone else, round 3 actions.
