Nyakala:

As your spell forces its way into the eastern korreds mind you understand some of its thoughts... Guard duty... punishment for getting outta hand... need a good fight to prove I should be drinking with the others!

Elyas prepares to summon an ally, while Annelise moves forward and conjures a web between a building that looks like a stable and the front door to the keep. I nudged the web sideway 5ft so that it would come into contact with 2 solid surfaces, otherwise the spell fails.

As the assault on the gap in the wall lands solidly on the two guard korred's, they cry out in pain and confusion. The ones wrapped in a web cryout in dismay at their sudden change in circumstances.

Lyndis concentrates and as her spell finishes, a cackle of hyenas appear on the battlefield. Two of them get their jaws wrapped around the korreds legs, one one manages to pull one down. Purple took 3 damage, blue took 1 damage and is prone.

Carthas, and Elyas swing at the korred in the groups midst. Carthas blade slides off the creatures armour, while Elyas blade bites shallowly into it.

Charles lands another blow on the korreds closing in on him and Kalleb, but it seems to do less that it should.

Annelise Caster Level Check: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Annelise and Nyakala cast magics upon the korreds, who seem to have it roll off them to no effect. From what I saw blindness is affected by SR, so I rolled the caster check.

The wolverine and magical weapon continue to accost the korred to little effect.

Lorne looks on the situation, seeing his allies becoming injured, and makes a sign of Erastil while chanting a blessing. The magic washes over everyone, sharpening their reflexes and bolstering their courage. Lorne casts Bless, +1 to hit and against saves vs fear effects. It hits everyone.

Unable to back away safely, Lirosa drops her bow and wields her long sword in two hands, while Taidel does the same. Both trying to bring down the beast before them but knowing their strikes will not hurt is as much as they should.

The korred in the middle of the group cackles with laughter muttering obscenities in sylvan and seemingly overjoyed as it strikes at Elyas again. The korred rams its club into Elyas again, and this time you can hear ribs cracking and popping from the blow. Elyas takes 10 damage, I believe 8 is WP.

It's fine, I should have picked more spells that would be useful in a situation like this. I was already planning on taking Relentless Casting for my next phrenic amplification, which should help with spell resistance in the future.

Without many other options, Nyakala continues howling at the nearest korred and attempting to probe its mind. This time she at least manages to pierce the fey's resistance to her magic.

The fire elemental rips into one of the creatures, devastating it with fire and doing its best to burn the thing to ash. Annelise moves forward a bit to keep the fight in view but at a safe distance. She draws on her magic again, targeting one of the uninjured korreds for maximmmum impact, trying to blind it.

Thanks for the clarification. 100% the sort of thing a dyslexic gets wrong.

Should be fighting more defensively, sloppy you know better. Charles berates his sloppy style but pushes back adjusting slightly to not get hit again. His smile stays even if bloody now.

Annelise' fire elemental rips into the korred, while her spell hits another. The korred howls and swipes at his eyes, which are now cloudy.

Charles sticks his blade into the already injured korred, drawing a spray of blood.

Carthas steps back and strikes, but his spear bounces off his enemy.

Taidel and Jenniffer rush forward to help the flank, while Lirosa moves over to Lorne, who starts looking at her injuries.

Kalleb, screams and flees. The korreds beside him too distracted to take notice as they reel from the incoming attacks.

The blinded korred seems to jibber for a bit before letting out a piercing laugh at his situation. Hopeless and forlorn the laugh penetrates into your souls. Taidel freezes, though the rest of you are fine.

During the moment the laughter pierces the air, three korreds let out a shallower laugh and disappear into the stones. One appears outside the wall, one appears in a web, and the other is no where to be seen.

With few other options, the korred beside Charles attacks him again though Charles defends himself this time. The Korred moves a bit as he swings.

:: Lamashan 31 - Early Afternoon - Fort Ristin::

Nyakala screams again, and the korred drops to the ground ears bleeding.

The badger, sword, and Charles all strike at the korred by Charles and miss.

There is a flurry of activity as people move around, running to check those who are severely injured or panicked. The korred begin to morph through the rocks fleeing, while the one by Charles carefully backs away.

With that the courtyard grows quiet, with only yourselves left. After a moment you can hear the soft sounds of grazing from the stables at the south end, the stench of a tannery in the north west tower, and the sweet smell of roast meat coming from the main hall doors.

"Maybe we could rest a bit and then tryout the entrance on the upper level of the collapsed tower. I don't fancy stumbling into that again." Lirosa says in a far to chipper voice.

I have the korreds placed on the map where they fled to. With 2 players needing to be botted and all the summons I figured a quick end to the combat was the best call here. Also give you a chance to rest after all that.
