Actually, I think it's very amusing that you're trying to stand, all dramatic, and keep slipping on the grease, falling down. It's somewhat comedic. Since so far, we seem to be in a decent tactical position, it's rather amusing, not 'dire'. But yeah, you could move out and stand up in theory.

standing up is just a move action that you can take.
5' step is a thing you can do after standing up
you can still have a standard action at that point to slap a zombie, and you wouldn't even need a roll vs your Grease...

Fair enough, I'm not used to encountering a Grease spell, only using it on others... If I attack a zombie however, they will start attacking me back, since we're invisible to undead? OK, well I know what I'm going to do next action.

even intelligent undead need to make a save to notice us if we attack 'em.
Unintelligent undead will simply ignore us no matter what we do >:D
(remember, we have the Greater version, the regular version would end if we attacked the undead... indeed it'd already be over thanks to Basil, haha)

The grease strikes again

"Farewell.", Basil says softly, as she lines up a shot past the Zombies, aiming for Marrows Head.

Last round of Bane here, just hoping a Necromancer won't have much more HP left, if she survives, I'll look like a fool, but hey, it's worth trying.


With one glowing bullet flying from the gun of the android, the bullet lodges into the head of the Hobgoblin Necromancer. You hear a soft pop and a faint glow from the head. Without much fanfare she drops to the ground.

To make life easier the undead are no match for you with hide from undead so we can say you clear them out without issue

Yes, we will take as long as we need to here, but we need to keep looking for the prisoner too. Can you use the wands Thawm? More Grenades. Basil? Scroll of Technomancy? That's a spell? Once we're done here we need to go over our loots list again.

Once we clean out the zombies, Karmid will gather all the valuables nobody wants personally. Then leads the others back toward the main hallway and continues toward the unexplored regions of the facility.

Basil hovers near Marrow, not entirely convinced she won't raise and continue their battle. Eventually, when the others finished checking the room, she is content that the Hobgoblin is truly dead, and turns towards the exit:"On the plus side, if there were any more guards, they would probably have joined the battle. I think there should be little trouble awaiting us here. While the technological components of the lab ARE geared towards necromancy, I am sure an Alchemist would also find them useful. We should at least mention the location to our new friend with the Hawks - they may decide to run an expedition here and salvage what she deems valuable."

That works. I'm assuming the dino-summons is gone now too.


As the group moves to the west. Well over a dozen large glass tanks sit against he walls of this oval-shaped chamber. The tanks themselves are semiopaque with condensation, grit, and filth, but several of them seem to contain some sort of figure within. Each tank has a metal-rimmed door on its front allowing the contents to be accessed, and one tank to the north has been wrapped with several coils of rope.

In each of these tanks is a strange creature with parts of their brains removed and exposed to the elements. They twitch and push at the glass when they see you.

The one that is wrapped with rope seems to contain a ratfolk. His snout and body also wrapped up with rope. Its eyes open wide and you can hear it trying to make noise at all of you.

Aye, obviously our rat-man, but caution seems reasonable in such a lab.


The restrained rat-folk seems unharmed and is not giving off an evil aura.

He calms down, and just waits watching all of you. Keeping looking over at the gun.

"Well, we do most certainly. We had some plans for the array.", Basil comments, not letting the Ratfolk out of her vision even after clearing him from a medical perspective.

As the group collects themselves and moves back south. Most creatures seem to give you a wide berth. Your scrap-worth seems to have gotten around, even as quickly as you have taken out the smilers.

You all make your way to the Redtooth area. You spot a few snipers hidden in the roofs, but they either ignore you, or if you make eye contact they nod toward you.

You eventually make your way an area that is guarded by plenty of Ratfolk. Wiskifiss greets a few as you approach. He is directed, with all of you, into the Warren. After being escorted all the way in you are met with Redtooth, who quickly jumps down and embraces Wiskifiss, her brother.

"I am so happy you live. I feared they had changed their diet and eaten you!" She says over watering eyes.
"We can thank these tall folk. The smilers are likely gone for awhile. Hey! Chirpus where he should be?"
Redtooth nodes and Wiskifiss walks away into another hall.

Redtooth faces you, "Well thank you. This is much appreciated. I did work on spreading a rumor that we are going to attack the array in force tomorrow. Not sure if it took, but the words are out there. I also have an idea of where we can find explosives that are capable of taking out the array, and maybe more hellions if the word works. Are you still willing to blow up the array?"
