Something violent happened here and it has continued past these doors with the brown panel. Do we have a magic key to open these doors? If not, I could smash it.

What did I get myself into here? I'm not afraid to face any foe, but there is so much that I do not understand down here. I'd rather just face opponents and fight.

The screen flashes warning signs in Androffan. But it's garbled and the flashing lights are often nonsensical.

Having made herself vulnerable in a particularly non-Kellid way to a non-Kellid, Askra resumes her hard exterior. She stalks over to Kaad and gives him a nod.

Linguistically the clear directive doesn't match the other writting. It was written by someone else. Furthermore, your Engineering happens to be better than that persons, for now. The directive may be altered.

The warriors and extra-planar cat ready themselves before the bloodied door... Meanwhile Fijit taps away on a screen, the brown card in her little pocket.

I don't think anyone has managed to really link the card colors to doors yet, if that is the case. I feel like we've been swiping the things at random so far. Would that be an INT check or Knwledge Engineering?

The brown card is swiped an the door slides open.

Bloodstains mar the floor and walls of this hallway, while scorch marks and smears of ash on the walls evidence some sort of altercation having taken place in this area relatively recently. Four tangled mounds of metal and other materials lie further up the hall, surrounded by strange colored stains.

There are two doors at the end of the hallway.

Relas and Kaad slowly make their way through the damaged hallway. Some of the blood on the floor is still moist. Halfway through the hallway the light panels from above flicker to life. The hallway grows bright, but no creatures are present.

Relas' ear perk up. He hears something coming from the room straight ahead. Behind the doorway where the blood leads, he hears a sound like a feint slither, and the cling of glass bumping together.

She blushes at the thought and shrugs, trying to throw off the feeling of embarrassment. She follows behind Relas, keeping a hand out on it's back, just above powerful hind legs. I don't like this... What do you think happened? she whispers to him.

Upon hearing the sounds coming from the room ahead, Relas stops in his tracks. He gives the rest of the group a meaningful look and inclines his head back toward the door.

Palomia creeps along behind the others, doing a pretty good job of staying quiet. However, she's distracted by the sight of the blood trail on the floor and can't seem to keep her focus on watching out for trouble.

When Relas stops and indicates the door ahead of them, she stops as well. "There must be something behind that door," she whispers. "Be careful!"

Behind the party and back in the main room a clatter of heavy footsteps breaks the hushed whispers. A man runs into the room breathing heavily and holding a sword. Fijit looks up from the screen in surprise. The two share an awkward glance, before the man turns towards the door panel and frantically starts pressing buttons.

"I'm trailing desert creatures. How do you shut this door, quickly!"

The man that stands before you is massive. Standing around 6'10" looking to weigh around 400lbs. You would expect someone that seems to be giving chase to be winded and breathing heavily, but he is not. As you look close you see his skin seems to crawl with activity. You think for a moment about what your seeing and pass it off as being an illusion or trick.

Palomia nearly jumps out of her skin at the sudden commotion back behind them. "Ye gods! What's going on back there?" she exclaims, forgetting that they're trying to be quiet. "And wait, where's Fijit?" Realizing that the gnome isn't with them, she turns and heads back through the doors they just came through. As she does, she stops in her tracks and gapes in amazement at the sight of the enormous man. "Fijiiiit, what's going on???"

Move action to move back to the main room.

With that, Relas carefully begins to back down the corridor towards the main room, keeping his eyes on the door ahead in case whatever is behind them has been alerted to their presence.

A booming voice that crackles with static comes from all around. The voice is monotone, loud, and in a strange language.

"ENDON MAIILI. SHKO JINAKU HEZIN."

Androffan:

"SECURITY OVERRIDE. DOOR FUNCTION DISABLED."

Just after Palomia crosses the threshold, the door behind her slams shut, and the panel turns white.

Fijit sees the panel on the door before her turn white as well, though it remains open.

Figit and BoB turn to the doorway, and beyond they see half a dozen sand-covered monsters racing towards them. The creatures have sharp quills covering bright yellow scales, and six stout legs. Their longs snots sniff the air and wheeze angrily as they approach.

Relas and Kaad dash to the door, but find it shut and unable to open!

Askra and Jean wait in the hallway, unsure of what to do.

The quilled yellow creatures wrap a heavy spiked tail around themselves, and approach BoB with strange movements.

BoB deftly dodges the attacks.

Felicia awakens in a tight tube from a dreamless sleep, unsure of how long it's been. It's pitch black all around her, except for a ring of lights hanging in front of her, with a clasp not unlike a collar.

BoB turns as the door opens and the monsters start to move about him. As the two tail attacks bounce off his nanite armor he pulls the massive blade from his back and starts his assault.

Deciding not to look a gift horse (or BoB, in this case) in the mouth, Palomia moves forward so that she can get a better view of the creatures in the hallway. Seeing that there are several, she intones a spell to try and slow them down.

Casting Grease to try and get the four creatures in the back, DC 14 Reflex save! Also, sorry for not posting yesterday, had a long day at work and then crashed once I got home...

Felicia pulls on the collar, which detaches from a small hook that disappears. A hologram image appears before her. It shows a collar unclasping, wrapping around her neck, and the pod door opening.

You're studied these sorts of things with Khonnir. BoB is an android. Like a human in many ways, but lacking much of their emotion. He's also like a construct, and can be affected as such in many ways.

math looks fine, is it injury or contact poison? If injury then he won't have to make the save if it doesn't overcome his DR.

BoB stands and as the attacks come from all angles. His nanites move and protect his body at the points of impact but one of the quils happens to damage the organic tissue and reveal his metalic body bellow. He doesn't flinch though and continues his asault.

It's a double move already, so I can try to open the door by next turn. In the meantime... BTW, I also moved Kaad closer to the door.

Wait, it might become more stuck. Let me take a look...
