"Do you suppose that's all of them?" he asks, nervously staring at the many bloody injuries they have sustained. He sighs, looking over his shoulder at Ton'iel, thinking that they are going to have to pay for special services to cure the grizzled elf's blindness.

I have no problem with you grouping enemies together. That could speed up combat a bit if we go then they go.

As silence descends on the room Wulf takes a knee and attempts to catch his breath. His head spinning from all the action and the stench.

Then he remembers."Ton?! Ton are you ok?" He shouts turning to look outside of the room. Seeing his friend bumble about he sighs. "That was something." He says to himself. Pulling himself up he nods looking around the room. "Good job everyone, it was hard fought but we all did our part. I'd say that was all of them, I don't know if anyone would be hiding after that but we should sweep the place. Their leader is dead." He looks to Jolga. "Do what you must, it will only send another message to those that would want to hurt us." He then limps over to Ton, his own wounds getting the better of him as he moves. "I've got ya Ton let me guide you."

Garfaulk sighed, looking over Crescendo as the sparks startd to fade from it, revealing the damage. "Oy. That'll take bout an hour to fix. Havent had a weapon misfire like tha since I interrogated that ratfolk a while back, Whiskifish or whatever his name was. Poor gal" It would seem odd for a moment, as Whiskifiss was a boy-but then it would be obvious the dwarf meant his weapon as he put poor crescendo away, not wanting to risk her taking any more damage. Giving Slagbreather a quick lookover, he made sure to load her with a regular shot.

In addition, she has her gear: 2 potions, 3 wands, 2 gas grenades, 4 doses of soothe, and a cloak.

In the corner of the room, thrown unceremoniously in a pile, is a suit of studded leather, a fine looking crossbow, and a shortsword.

"Come on Ton! get it together, yer a tougher, elf than tha! Probly the toughest elf I know-you have a bad leg and ya tough it out to the point where yer faster than me! Yer not gonna let a little thing like not bein able ter see get ya down!" He barked, trying to shock Ton back into his senses. Will use my last bardic inspiration for the day to inspire some courage in my elven friend

From his back, Garfaulk pulls one of his fire lances, Iovry, and puts the long gun into the hands of his blinded ally. His toned softened "Now look-er, feel. Tha's the trigger ere. Use this like a cane ter feel round. Don't want ya bumpin into walls, hilarious as tha would be. And careful-she's loaded. With a javelin. Once we get outta ere, we'll get you to Dinvaya, she's got magical hands." He grined slyly "Or maybe we could buy ya a pair o eyes from tha fella we saw on the street, he seemed like reliable chap"

Garfaulk chuckles, patting Ton on the shoulder. "Sorry lad, not tha kind of dwarf" before starting to look around with Jolga, nodding "Great. Course, at his size, he could be anywhere..."

As wulf teases him and punches his shoulder, Garfaulk laughs loudly, though if anyone looked closely, they might notice a bit of a blush under that tight beard of his [b]"The lass damn near blew me up with a grenade of scrapmetal, got me to shut up fer more than five minutes -even if it was from lockjaw- then looked after me fer a day while I recovered. If tha's not a lass after my own heart, I dunno who is" The dwarf then smiles a mischievous grin "No ratfolk over ere-any luck on yer end Ton? See em round anywhere?"

Suddenly, it clicks in his head. "Hold up lads-wasn't there one tank with all them zombies in it tha didnt explode full of undead? The one with the rope around it? Bet tha's so ya cant see the non-undead ratman inside it!" Garfaulk rushes back into the room where they fought the zombies stepping over the rotting corpses of zombies and the two drillbots, looking for an access panel like when they found LaRa, really wanting the first thing Whiskifiss saw to be his own grinning dwarven mug.


Garfaulk merely has to unwrap the ropes from around the canister and pop open the door, and an exhausted ratman falls out on onto the floor, his fur blood-marked and sticking up in all directions. He groans and rubs his eyes, before slowly opening them to see Garfaulk's smiling face peering down on him.

"Gods... Is this Hell?"

Ton raises the middle finger of his left hand vaguely in the direction of Charles' voice while the other deftly rolls a cigarette. A moment later, trembling slightly less now, he is sat in a haze of smoke, his nerves calming somewhat.

The dwarf jeered at the ratfolk "What're we doing here? Were the f&*~in cavalry! Ere ta save yer arse-tha shooting ya business is ol hat. What a few powder burns during an interrogation between chums?" He stepped away from him rp let someone take a look at his wounds, doubting the ratfolk would let him that close. "As for why ere, outside o Torch, well, let's just say we've got some business ter take care of. And part of tha is savin you. Yer lucky day, eh?"

Looking back into the other room, Garfaulk noticed the angle of the wall and remembered the scrap of paper in his pocket. "Say, income know if this place has another floor? Like a cellar?"


"I don't think so, no... At least, I never saw one... Fellas, I am very grateful for you helping me out. My sister will be very grateful too. Did she send you here in the first place? Just the kind of thing she would do... Listen, have you seen my gear? I can't leave without my crossbow."

Zeke surreptitiously looks over Ton'iel while administering the remove curse scroll, making sure that his injuries are not debilitating. "It's not that bad, Mr. Wexley. This scroll we found will make your eyes whole again. Just relax and I'll fix you up!"

If that works then great, but if not then I can wait until tomorrow when Jolga can cast Remove Blindness. If Ton's misery is prohibitive to moving things on, I'll either keep quiet or get him to pull himself together by the way, I don't want to be a hindrance to the flow :)

Ouch, Wulf. If you guys weren't friends this is where the GM would step in and say to be nice to each other, and it really makes me wonder if I need to scale up my battles a bit.

To Ton's relief, the scroll Zeke casts does indeed lift the blindness from his eyes.

Recognizing what was happening, not sure if Ton had seen him, he grabs the gear and hustles back to the ratman. "Yup Hammer, we got it earlier-thought it mighta been magical. Ere ya go lad. Aye, yer sister sent us, I dont think she's familiar with wha happened back in Torch-probably best ter keep quiet bout tha whole business. He pats him on the back roughly, then looks about, making sure no one else was coming there way while Whiskifiss got ready to go. Then he turns to Wulf, raising an eyebrow "Secondry? wha was Primry?"

I think he meant more we could handle ourselves in a small scrap if need be. Like how they didnt "need" me when I was out.
