The panic lasted one minute, no need for another save.
The paralysis gets a second fort save after one minute (so just before the panic expires), fort save DC12. If that fails, the paralysis will last another ten minutes, then fade on its own.
So as Jibril is retrieving the body, make the second save, and a few seconds later, the panic will end.

Mentioned it in Fabian's game, but I'll be going on vacation starting tomorrow until Feb 7th. I probably won't have internet access for most if not all of the trip, so I may not get any chance to post. Please skip me or bot me as necessary.

Jibril Johan Sameh |

I'm getting some weird stuff. My posts are getting published before I press submit post. May cause some confusion.

Jibril Johan Sameh |

I've been having an argument with my character. He wants to take the most likely tile and got to the trap challenge. I want to fight a giant lobster.

Alvar "Rex" Zosimus |

I mean, if you reeeally want to, Rex can martial flexibility for Aquatic Combatant...But it seems like the kind of thing we'd need the whole party for...Somehow I don't think Quinn or Duncan are getting in that hole... ;)

Alvar "Rex" Zosimus |

@GM: I am not familiar with doing initiative this way for PbP. Should I got ahead and post my 2nd round actions, since I go before the creature? Or wait for all the first round actions to complete? WIthin a round, do you want people to post in order or just whenever then you put it in order?

Angie H |

Hey guys - I want to do a check in about the game. How's everybody feeling about it? Feeling the lack of a 5th player? I may have a lead on somebody to join, but if you guys feel good as a group as-is, then I don't need to invite them in. As always, if you have any comments, concerns etc, let me know either here or via PM

Alvar "Rex" Zosimus |

I don't see the harm in adding a fifth person, if you have someone ready and willing. Then Rex won't be the newbie anymore!

Jibril Johan Sameh |

Our roleplaying strength seems to come from our unpredictability - I say play what you're into. If you want to go utility then a cleric would be great (healing and stronger for the Death Door which I'd love to get to before the tattoo fades).

Quinn Starling |

Welcome! Looking forward to playing with you. I'm with Jibril, play what you like. Unless it's an unchained rogue, a summoner, a brawler, or a ranger - then don't play that :) But the rest of the character world is your oyster.

Alvar "Rex" Zosimus |

Welcome!
I've never heard of a party refusing a cleric, but like the others said it's better to play you want. I don't think you'll be stepping on toes if you go arcane or divine, unless you took a heavy focus on summoning.

Dizzy Dizhildi Boneheart |

Thanks for welcoming me to the game! What websites are you guys using for dwarven and elven translators? I love the flavour of those!

Jibril Johan Sameh |

I've been making up the elven while borrowing heavily from latin and arabic.

Dizzy Dizhildi Boneheart |

Wow! Tolkien would be impressed.:)

Alvar "Rex" Zosimus |

Yeah, Jibril has me beat. lol. I usually use one of the first couple on Google. If it doesn't give me want I want, I shift the words a little. If that doesn't work I make up bs that sounds dwarfy.

Also:
Immediately seeing an opportunity to stay away from fighting, even if it was all make-believe of sorts, he commented, "Rex, why yes, we may be looking for another member. But we are very particular about this. Do you have a drinking problem?"tag?
he quickly added, "What about funny accents? Communication is paramount in this team so we must understand each other. You don't talk funny, do you?"
-.-
*whap*

Purplefixer |

I rolled along with Quinn in the obstacle challenge and made it through the first part without hardly trying. Then immediately triggered the first blow and made my save, triggered the second blow and failed and ran away... You weren't the only one, sweetheart! Khaddar couldn't have made it either. That's what I get for not taking Deflect Arrows. XD
And I'm so glad I wasn't there for the Ice Door. Khaddar's 20' speed would have killed everyone...

Angie H |

Wow! Glad to see that you're alive! Sorry to hear about the disc - back problems are no fun. We would have appreciated a head's-up.
Khaddar is in respite at the moment, and we've just found a 5th player. We'll see how the traps challenge goes, then when that's done we can work on a way to dig Khaddar out of the deep freeze.

Alvar "Rex" Zosimus |

Thank you, Rex, for laughing at poopy Duncan. You are my spiritual successor.
Hi internet stranger. Yes, Rex was definitely built to fill the big guy who stands in front and punches people gap...and ouch. Slipped discs are no joke.

Jibril Johan Sameh |

PURPLEFIXER! YOU"RE ALIVE!!! I'm sorry to hear about your pretty heavy woes - but glad to hear from you.

Alvar "Rex" Zosimus |

Waiting to hear the Detect Magic result. But if there are still no clues at that point, Rex might suggest everybody leave the room and he will tug one of the chains.

If you don't mind the risk to your character then I say go for it. Sometimes you gotta' pull the mysterious lever.

I mean I don't really want to, I just didn't have better ideas, lol. I say try this rope thing first.

Angie H |

HERE are the rules for gaze attacks. Basically, anybody looking its way needs to make a save each round. Then, he gets to choose somebody to attack. I didn't understand that properly, so you all got a freebie attack so far.
If you want to attack without becoming vulnerable, you can 1) avert eyes (50% chance to not have to save but it gets concealment) or 2) close eyes/blindfold, (no need to save, but it gets total concealment).
So everybody looking its way will need to make a save, DC 15, OR state they're averting their eyes and roll d100 (1-50 means no need to save), OR look away entirely.
Clear?

Alvar "Rex" Zosimus |

Tossing out an "I'm still here" message, since there is not too much for me to post in Gameplay (internal monologues of what a cool statue I must be, since I was frozen in the middle of kicking someone into a pit?)
