Logan Tanessen |

Logan scratched his ear as he thought before adding, "Perhaps some sort of ward against evil would be effective?"
Logan is referring to protection from evil which I expect a number of us can cast.

Canacha Bais |

"Whats this ghost salt stuff? You said i can coat my bullets in it? That certainly sounds promising..."
She paused with a frown for a moment.
"Its not made from positive energies or anything? Im afraid if my hands are all swollen and numb from my allergies I wont be able to fire my gun anyhow."

Jack Duncloak |

"I've got some gold from our last venture I can donate to the cause," Jack tells the others.
Just realized I never finalized with Mirabella about the ring of protection +2. Did you want to keep it or can Jack claim it?

![]() |

"Don't you worry miss there is no positive energy to harm you involved. It's a gritty alchemical powder which is made from exotic minerals and mixed with an infusion crafted from the ectoplasmic remains of destroyed ghosts." Reginald responds to Canahc pulling a jar down form one of the shelves and shows her the material in question. "This is the stuff, a single dose of this will cover about ten pieces of ammunition. Simply rub the items in question in this and place it over a hot fire for a moment and they are good to go, sadly they only last for a single weapon hit as the material is absorbed by the ghost."

Canacha Bais |

" Well to be honest, i dont recover a lot of bullets anyhow, they are usually done when they smash into things. How much for this? How did you make it? Could be useful to have about you know."
She began suddenly almost overly cheerful. Learning new things was one of her favorite things.

![]() |

"As I said miss, it's an exotic mineral that is a bit similar to rock salt infused with the remains of a destroyed incorpereal undead. There are different ways of doing it, but mostly you can boil the salt and the infusion together untill all the liquid is gone, let it cool down and grind the product like in the jar I showed you before. If you want to know more there are some books for creating weaponry against the undead upstairs in the library." Reginald responds

Bicks Velin |

"I think Canacha and I can work out a recipe. There are plants in the areas that grow over old burial mounds once turned to ash and powdered properly that may work if Canacha can work the metal alloys into an infusible form.

Canacha Bais |

Her eyes positively lit up.
"There are books upstairs about it? Can i read them? Can i take notes? You are the best! Let's go Bicksy! We have learnin to do!"
She turned and started to hurry away then suddenly spun about all grins, even showing a tiny bit of fang.
"How much for the vial you have now. We are going to become ghostbusters for sure, but you know, we have time for that."

![]() |

"Hmm I don't know, I suppose there are about 10 doses in this jar, but about the price ask the clerics, we inquisitors can take from it whenever we need it. I'm sure the clerics upstairs can schedule you a time to read in the library for a minor donation to the temple." He says with a smile at the young dhampir's enthusiastic reaction to him mentioning books, while he pads the heavy book hanging from his belt.

Lena Silas |

Lena smiles at Canacha's excitement of learning something. "Thank you for your time. We appreciate it. She's going to be busy for weeks. May the Rose bless your day." Lena will head out after Canacha.

Logan Tanessen |

Logan nodded as he followed the others out, it seemed that they would be much better prepared this time for dealing with the haunted building.

![]() |

The cleric at the store upstairs shows you they got about;
1d10 ⇒ 9 bottles of holy water for sale,
1d6 ⇒ 4 doses of ghost salt,
and a single +1 ghost touch dagger, along with basic spell casting component used by the clerics and they have access to scrolls from the cleric spell list level 1 and 2.

Mirabella Lindenbrook |

If we can afford it, having a permanent ghost touch magic weapon is probably not a bad investment. I doubt these will be the last incorporeal enemies we encounter. I’ll be happy to chip in...and perhaps we might be afforded a slight discount, if we promise to wield it in ways Shelyn would condone. I am a regular patreon of this temple, if that matters. Mirabella says as they inspect the items.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

Canacha Bais |

"Yeah how much for the Dagger, the water and the ghost salt all together? As Mirabella said shes a Shelynite and If it helps Im a Bais, daughter of Gerald and Amalia Bais."
She added name dropping parts of her famous family. She didnt honestly expect it to help, but maybe they had heard of her parents. They were kinda famous in Ustalav at least.
diplomancy aid another Mirabella: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

![]() |

"I'm sorry miss we can't really afford any kind of discount to non members of the temple, all the profit we earn goes towards helping the poor and homeless in the city to get proper clothing and something to eat." The cleric responds not really biting on Mirabella's attempt to save some coin with the situation the city is in right now.

![]() |

Remember the Ghost touch weapon will cost 8310 gp, the holy water will gost 225 and the ghost salt 800 for a total of 9335 gp if you want to buy everything.

Canacha Bais |

She scrunched her nose up a tiny bit at the price. She had more coin than what she had offered but not that much coin. Still with enough holy water they should be fine.
"Yeah good call Bicks, that dagger sounds cool, but we have our own helping out the city to do and that would take all the coin we have i think."

Logan Tanessen |

Logan looked at Bick's swords and while they weren't his preferred weapon he remarked, "I could probably do something with that..."

![]() |

As you wish, that will be 825 gold pieces." she says as she starts find the bottles of holy water and small containers with ghost salt. "Do you know how to use the ghost salt?" she asks while placing everything on the counter.

Logan Tanessen |

Logan smiled, he knew this one, and replied, "You rub it on a weapon and thrust it in a flame or so I heard..."

Canacha Bais |

She moved her hand quickly down to one of her coin purses and glanced inside it pulling out quite the sum of gold to pay for all the things.
"Do active church persongoers of the faith get like discounts. My soul if i have on i think is a free agent. You guys sure do have lots of pretty things. Think it over? Kay thanks."
She said in a whirlwing of smiles (the fangless kind) pats and head nods. She began to whistle an eerie tune and made her way for the exit a big old silly grin on her face. She was going to shoot so many ghosts now.

![]() |

Does anyone need anything els or are you going to rest up before going back down the Lucky Bones?"

Jack Duncloak |

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. A lack of focus IRL plus ghost-fighting shopping not being a strong point for Jack. Someone let me know what he owes as his share of the purchases and I'll remove that amount from his finances.
@Mirabella: I don't think you ever replied about whether you want to keep the ring of protection +2 or if Jack can take it. (If you did...I missed it.) Let me know your decision.

Jack Duncloak |

Resting sounds good.
Jack will cast his one cure light wounds spell on Bicks to get our hit point hero back closer to full.
cure light wounds (Bicks): 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Logan Tanessen |

Agreed that resting sounds like a good idea.

Canacha Bais |

Back to the old base to rest up to finish clearing up the new base *nods nods*
Back at the base before she went to take her new blanch of shoot ghosts full of holes she gathered the others with a sort of tentitive frown.
"Okay, so I know someone has to gamble with the halfling if she reappears, and evidently those other ones have a really bad touch. I would say just let me get hit by them to absorb all their addictions but i dont think thats quite how it works. So what are we going to do about it? I mean we cant just like run where they cant reach us, ghosts are well ghosts right?"
She was fiddling with her abbacus clearly doing all sorts of mental math.
"Im not so worried about the addiction part, i mean im already a bit weird and stuff plus i have a pretty good sense of self. I mean My willpower is pretty set in stone but it just seems really bad right? "
Mwa ha ha, Jack jack your part of the expense comes in having to carry it all back and deal with Canacha being a silly flirt *nods*

Mirabella Lindenbrook |

@Jack - go ahead and use the ring. Unlike Jack, Mirabella is rarely if ever in melee and has other means of avoiding attacks.

![]() |

When you are ready you can return to the door where you turned around and prepare to go into the room. The halfling ghost has not respawned yet.

Bicks Velin |

Bicks cast Burst of Radiance (DC 16) to the two farthest away.
Damage: 4d4 ⇒ (2, 3, 3, 3) = 11
Duration Blind on a Failed save: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Incorporeal chance: 1d100 ⇒ 30 I usually do high is good for the defender but it is the GMs call.

![]() |

It's about the same I useally do low is good for the players and high is good for me, but as long as you tell me how you do the roll I'm fine with either.
Are you not supposed to roll 5d4 at this level?
Reflex Green: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Fail
Reflex Yellow: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
The ghost closest to Bicks takes the blunt of the burst of light and starts flailing around with it's arms. The ghost in the corner was still standing with it's back towards Bicks and wasn't affected by the radiance.

Logan Tanessen |

2nd: Mirror Image, Mirror Image, Bladed Dash
Before stepping into the room Logan had reluctantly accepted one of the spiritbane spikes from Bicks. The logic of it was clear his own weapon was largely useless and unfortunately he'd never learned any force
spells, so this was it.
With a grimace he jammed the spike into his hand and gasped as it suddenly extended and somehow became insubstantial like it was made of glass.
Damage from the spike: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Logan was now armed but he was not keen to be touched... So with a word of power his outline burled and he was surrounded by four identical copies of himself!
Mirror Image: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

The Wretchghost clsoest to the group unhingeds it's jaws and emits a tormented howl that chills you all to the bone. Will DC16, it's sonic, mind-affecting fear effect.
The other ghost close to you move up and attempts to touch Jack.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9
Jack: Fortitude DC16 or become addicted. You take the damage from the addicted drug (1d4 con and 1d4 wis damage), without getting the benefits, but you can know attack the affect the ghosts as if they weren't invorporeal

She called out to the ghost attacking Jack. She took aim and licking her lips fired hoping those ghost touch bullets actually worked.
