Lem attempts to point out some finer points of court to Captain Seferi.
Know(nobility): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
"A woman appearing before the court might be tempted to curtsy, but dressed in military uniform as you are, it is more appropriate to salute and bow to the Princess when you are introduced. Address her as Royal Highness, but don't worry about detailed protocol. She, at least, will forgive mistakes so long as you show respect and speak the truth. Don't expect the same from most of these people, though."
Lem watches her make a few practice bows and points out where to put her feet.
"You'll do great! just be yourself"

Hakon will try chatting up the unfriendly Mr. Rell. "I find your part of the world just lovely. So warm!"
diplomacy: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Quinn manages to learn that the crafty [b]princess[b] is way to used to diplomacy that you will influence her. You will learn that she is interested in gaining Inka Heldotor trust. neutral
Hakon manages to make Theon Helpful.
Quinn manages to learn that Captain Seferi is a corsair and got her entrance her in shadowy ways. For the crafty halfling it is clear that the captain needs some help. He might guide her by pointing out some finer parts of coach Seferi with a DC 15 Knowledge (nobility) check or Sense Motive check on Eutropia; they can also lend Seferi better
clothing or help her find a suitable gift to offer. Helpful
Alain learns that Inka respects only one thing... strength. Big man.. show your muscles. You can can amuse her with tales of your heroic
exploits or impress her with a DC 15 Strength checkNeutral

Quinn continues his conversation with the princess, moving on from the support of women's rights to pointing out how Inka is impressed by Alain's physique and that Alain would be happy to put on a show for both Inka and the princess.
inspired diplomacy: 1d20 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (9) + 5 + (3) = 17

Quinn learns that mere words have no influence on the princess.
But Hakon manages to find his words interest the smirking man.

Hakon continues with a funny story about the history of the Ulfen, hoping to turn Rell friendly.
knowledge(history): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Skald Pregen |
I haven't tried but I could. I'm untrained in oratory. I will give myself guidance for this one since I have been getting so lucky so far.
Next Hakon meanders over to Menander and begins a discourse on Taldorian social structure.
perform(oratory)+guidance: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 1 = 11
Eh. Is this check DC 16 also? I can cast timely inspiration to get +1 after the fact if 12 is enough.
Pirate Pregen |
Quinn will politely extricate himself from conversation with the Princess and speak with DOMINICUS REL instead, trying to suss out the best approach for the man.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Skald Pregen |
Do they each need to be Friendly? If so we still need to influence:
PRINCESS EUTROPIA - neutral, need to influence Rell to influence her?
DOMINICUS RELL - neutral, diplomacy
SOLMON MENANDER - neutral, perform (oratory)
I will do Menander once more and an AA roll for whomever is influencing Rell. Casting guidance on anyone who wants it also. Not sure what else I can do.
Hakon tries one more time to capture Menander's attention.
perform(oratory)+guidance: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 2 + 1 = 14
diplomacy AA: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Let's get this finished strong!

Lem also talks with Rell, hoping to help Quinn impress the man by chiming in with the occasional pun.
Diplomacy(aid): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

With that Solomon Menander starts to smile at the uncouth Half-orc with honeyed words and seeing the court shift in your direction also Rell smiles and nods at you.
As Princess Eutropia calls court to session, she has a surprise in store. After allowing Remaio to make a flowery preamble and confirming with Remaio that the PCs retrieved most of the proof, she asks the PCs to present it instead of Remaio.
Every piece of evidence gained and every friend made may help in this.
Choose one to present the case and that one has to make a diplomacy, perfom oratory or profession barrister.
Skald Pregen |
My best modifier among those is +2. Looks like Quinn or Lem is our best bet. I will cast guidance on whomever makes the main check. Also can cast Timely Inspiration for +1 to the check after the fact if needed.
Hakon urges his more diplomatic associates to stand up on behalf of Remaio and present all the evidence they have found exonerating Honaria.
diplomacy AA: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Pirate Pregen |
Quinn will present the case, showing off all the pieces they have collected that prove that Honaria is innocent of the crimes she was accused of.
inspired diplomacy: 1d20 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (9) + 5 + (1) = 15

Coupled with evidence from the grove, the bassilica, the found blade, the found documents about Honaria from the homestead and the found ribbons and laurels Wich grant 2 bonus each and some support from the gained allies in the court you are able to clear Honaria´s name and Romaio get´s the full support of the court.
In the end, she asks everyone to kneel down and knights you.
Rise, knights of Taldor!
Romaio is also extremly grateful and offers you to buy the special items at a hefty discount.
Also each of you is approached by an agent of the pathfinder society and recruited as a field agent.
