I'd guess about lvl 15-16 like most APs. Incidentally I'm now thinking an investigator might make a better chassis for the barrister I was hoping to make in Hell's Rebels.
They don't really get going till lvl 4 but they are the quintessential skill monkey.

The new Ultimate Intrigue book has my favorite Investigator Archetype -- the Cipher -- who develop the ability to become so unremarkable that people forget they exist, including during combat. It's like a Grey Man from WoT. Pretty cool.
I also really like the Vigilante class, it's perfect for the Hell's Rebels.
Niles, did you need/want more players for that campaign? I have a recommendation if you do.

            Hey guys,
Perhaps I made my decision to run Hell's Rebels a bit prematurely. I'm not opposed to the idea at this point, but I would want to run it using the 5E rules. At this point I dislike the Pathfinder ruleset so much I can't see starting another AP using it. I definitely plan on another campaign after this one, and you guys are most certainly invited to play in it. I just don't wanna do Pathfinder rules anymore.

Fair enough Niles. I do share reservations about pathfinder's complexity although I'm not super keen to learn another system even if it is simple :)

It's essentially a d20 system but its really stripped down. There's ALOT more room for "The GM says it works this way" versus "Let's find this obscure rule and then argue about its meaning"
It also doesn't punish someone nearly as badly for wanting to play out of the box characters like Pathfinder does.

Silas will use saving finale to help Jaxom if needed.

Actually scratch that, Silas is too far from Jaxom to use saving finale :[
Buuut the lich might be too far from Jaxom to use suffocation. It's a close range spell and Jaxom is 12-13 squares away which is probably too far!

Oh, the lich would move to cast the spell...he didn't use his move action. totally spaced on that, I'll retcon.

Thinking waaaay back, there was a prisoner who was killed in the jail by magic. It seemed to be a suffocation death. Did Drazmorg do that?

Who would be interested in doing a 5E campaign with me? And if so, would you rather do a Paizo AP or a WotC AP? or something else?
I own most of the Paizo AP's in some form...I also have Out of the Abyss WotC AP. I'd be willing to buy whatever you guys wanted to play.

I'm currently already in a way of the wicked, and having fun being an evil sorcerer. Who's based on a character from a M&M 2 LP.
My PC intends to con Asmodeus and the group, by leave via a planar portal.
As is, my list is kind of full, which are mainly AP.
Although i've got a feeling that in the relative nearby future one of my games might run aground.

I'll have a look at what this 5E is like.
I've seen an example of a 3rd party scenario, the Assimilation Strain.
Dmg wise it's just half of the D*, apart from that, no knowledge.
Also, i'm thinking of running a 3rd party 1 shot scenario/module, normally run on a con, once i'm finished running Crypt of the Everflame.
It's basically in Tian Xia/Kaiden, where 5 PCs (pre-gen are included for this to be balanced, instead of custom crazyness) come together and have to survive a horror scenario against an ancient evil.

Right now, its just moving but you can assume its opening. It's massive, this is the description...
A ten-foot-tall dais rises from the center of the room, supporting a concentric mini-ziggurat of layered, rune-covered gear—even those with no magic can feel the supernatural energy pulsing from the thing.
The entire Ziggurat is concentric rune covered gears.

@Jaxom The Lesser Sealstone is actually an Azlanti artifact...its not really part of the Seal of Tar Baphon outside of having a similar name. I do find it odd that the writers of this series of modules placed something named the Lesser Sealstone in an adventure and then a Seal of Tar Baphon in the next adventure and wrote in 0 connection between the two.
Also @Jaxom and Luc I understand completely. I too was hesitant to abandon Pathfinder...but my problems with 3.X are myriad and even though I thought it was LEAGUES better than AD&D I always chafed at several aspects of the system.
I'll be honest with you guys...if you can get a handle on Pathfinder then 5E is a cakewalk. It requires much less system mastery.
@Hecktor That is a cool picture. I've actually had an idea of beginning a campaign where everyone found pictures on the internet for their character and then built the mechanics of the character to match the picture.

            A question here.
We had Death Ward casted upon us.
The subject is granted a save to negate such effects even if one is not normally allowed.
-------------
The subject is immune to energy drain and any negative energy effects
Drazmorg casted enervation on me for those 2 negative levels.
Effect: ray of negative energy
------------
You point your finger and fire a black ray of negative energy that suppresses the life force of any living creature it strikes
Wouldn't this mean i didn't suffer those 2 negative levels?
Or get a save to attempt to negate it? :o

re:Death Ward Yes, if it was still active. It is a min/level spell cast from a Scroll BEFORE the Vade fight. Which was like 30 mins before this fight started.
It's not still active.
