Elgan Dreadwood |

As the warrior drinks a potion and Pip heals himself, Elgan casts an enhancement that he hasn't had the chance to cast with all of the excitement so far.
Casting Bulls Str:Mass on all three of us, and stoneskin on myself. :)
"Ay dere! I cain't let yew have all deh fun! Wait fer me!" Elgan says, or starts to say, it sort of turns into the screech of a hunting bird halfway through.
The shifted druid easily catches up to the others as they pass through the hatch. Elgan-hawk does a mid-air pirouette and ends up above his friends, hopefully ready for anything.

Emrael Bladewalker |

Emrael draws the animated door away from the opening.
"Go on through!"
Single attack, two-handed, power attack: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (16) + 20 = 36
Damage: 1d8 + 23 ⇒ (6) + 23 = 29
Confirmation: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (15) + 20 = 35
Damage: 1d8 + 23 ⇒ (5) + 23 = 28

Elgan Dreadwood |

Elgan screeches a spell. It's not powerful, but the ball of fire the druid-hawk spits is large enough to get the 'doors' attention.
Cast old standby, Produce Flame. Gives me a tiny extra attac for a few rounds. :)
Aim: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20
Fire dmg: 1d6 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

Pip slings his trusty lightning gun from its shoulder holster and aims at the burning door
"Maybe a bit of juice to get things going"
He fires a bolt straight at it, the looping stream dancing crazily through the air
Lightning DC 15 1/2 dam: 5d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 3, 4, 3) = 18

Emrael Bladewalker |

Two-handed, power attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11

Emrael Bladewalker |

Emreal presses the attack. Ignore any extra attacks... Do we have haste running? I think not.
Attack #1: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 20 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 23 ⇒ (6) + 23 = 29

dungeonmaster heathy |

Self spoiler:
drenlza down 56 hp
door destroyed.
dybbuk down 138 hp
with two more mighty whacks the door falls down the holding bay to the other wall.
And,......it's their attack, but you don't seem to appreciate anything attacking you at the moment.
Group's move/attack/whatev's.
The door is no more.
The way is clear.

Elgan Dreadwood |

Elgan shimmers and lands on the wall/floor, holding tight to a beam. He peers at the burning fragments of the door critically.
"Dat tree had sum ser-ee-ous issues." Then he shrugs, turns back into a hawk, and flaps to the doorway and through it, spiraling high to clear tthe door, and guard it for his friends as they come through.

dungeonmaster heathy |

Elgan enters the room.
He sees Altai's summoned pilot angel on the control throne. From the buckets of blood all over the angel and the throne, and the mangled body of the angel, it must be dead. But then,.....it....seems to be moving.
The dead angel looks at Elgan and smiles, and starts to speak, spitting up gouts of blood.
"I'll.....swalla....yer......soul......." it laboriously moans out.
And as he enters the room, he sees Drelzna the vampiress with her heavy metal cover bastard sword, over by the "power source" of the ship.
Elgan has a standard attack action left if he wants it.

Elgan Dreadwood |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

"Swalla THIS!" Elgan hawk screeches (in avian, so he guessing the probably possessed deva doesn't understand him. But the spitball of fire that he hacks up and the flyby/claw slice he aims at the Vampetta speaks volumes.
Free action, spit fire a Produce flame, to hit: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (12) + 16 = 28
Dmg: 1d6 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

FTR, I cast haste at the start of this rumble. It has 15 rounds duration, I'm not sure if that has passed.
Pip sights his undead-slaying arrow Goldenfry at the vampiress' head
"Second times the charm maggot bait"
He lets fly, a stream of undead bane arrows following Goldenfry towards Igglwivsdottir
Attack 1 Goldenfry (manyshot also)1d20 + 21 ⇒ (14) + 21 = 351d8 + 100 + 19 ⇒ (7) + 100 + 19 = 126

Additional damage for Manyshot (if ATK 1 hits): 1d8 + 2d6 + 19 ⇒ (7) + (6, 4) + 19 = 36

Emrael Bladewalker |

Emrael flies in and follows the golden arrow toward the vampiress, planning to make as small pieces as she can before the woman turns to mist. She stays out of reach of the now-dead angel.
Expending a point from her arcane pool, Emrael invests her katana with energy and spring attacks.
Knowledge (planes) check to select an energy she is not immune to: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (14) + 25 = 39
Katana, two-handed power attack, poolstrike: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 20 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 23 + 6d6 ⇒ (2) + 23 + (2, 2, 2, 1, 3, 4) = 39
*sad face*
These dead creatures have hurt me badly. Do either of you some protection against their touch?
She is using her Web of Steel feat with her ghost touch weapon, so her AC is 42 atm.

dungeonmaster heathy |

They're resistant to cold and electricity.....fire oughtta do.
Emrael slashes at it, but can't seem to get a solid blow in. Didn't beat "flat footed" armor class.
It's not turning into gaseous form though.....just spasming in mid air; she's able to spring back to behind the coffin.
Mid combat, the ship rights itsself.
The deck is now the floor again.
Everybody seems to be flying, and as such, nothing really causes them to fall or be smacked about.
The floor is the floor again.
