Drelzna's probably dead, or whatever a dead vampire means, because she's acutally been dead for centuries.
She reanimates anyway, spitting up black blood.
She looks really horrid now.
She touches Emrael with her wicked sword, and Em takes
7d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2) = 19 in dybbuk pain touch.
"Do I possess Drelzna or the sword?!? Guess wisely or die, elven whore!!!" says the body of Drelzna.
self spoiler
The angel goes after Pip, flapping feebly on mangled wings.
7d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 2, 1, 1, 2, 4) = 14 as Pip feels the pain touch of the dybbuk......
group's attack!!!!!

I guess! Lol
Pip growls as the dybbuk's touch hits him
"Buckle up bonehead, because you are about to go for a ride"
A stream of undead bane arrows go towards the animated corpse
Attack 1 (manyshot also):1d20 + 22 ⇒ (2) + 22 = 241d8 + 2d6 + 19 ⇒ (8) + (6, 4) + 19 = 37
Attack 2: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (13) + 22 = 351d8 + 2d6 + 19 ⇒ (4) + (6, 4) + 19 = 33
Attack 3: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (4) + 22 = 261d8 + 2d6 + 19 ⇒ (8) + (3, 3) + 19 = 33
Attack 4: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (7) + 22 = 291d8 + 2d6 + 19 ⇒ (7) + (3, 4) + 19 = 33
Additional damage for Manyshot (if ATK 1 hits): 1d8 + 2d6 + 19 ⇒ (1) + (2, 4) + 19 = 26

self spoiler:
drelzna dead
dead angel wasted
dybbuk in angel wasted
dybbuk in drelzna at max
Pip hits with two arrows, but it proves "fatal" whatever that means.......the dybbuk comes steaming out of the angel's mouth, destroyed and now random ectoplasm to disperse into the cosmos, as the dead angel slumps to the ground.
It's Elgan and Emrael and Zippy's turn (as Pip can now walk the deck surely), and all that remains is whatever vulgar entity now animates the Vampire Princess and her evil blade.

Emrael Bladewalker |

You know, Emrael still has mirror image rolling. We haven't been accounting for that in the last couple of rounds' damage. Can we retcon that?
It's all good, Pip. I've built a glass cannon and they haven't missed her yet, so I'm grasping at straws. I don't have improved sunder because I don't use that tactic...
Emrael shifts to the side, setting up a spring attack that ends with her standing next to Elgan. "I need some healing, friend, have you any you can offer?"
Attack: 1d20 + 23 - 3 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 23 - 3 - 4 + 1 = 35 Spring Attack, Combat Expertise, Fighting Defensively, Haste
Damage: 1d8 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18
AC 42, Touch AC 31

Emrael Bladewalker |

Confirmation: 1d20 + 17 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 17 + 7 = 37 Includes penalties from before and Critical Perfection
If the crit confirms, she spends two arcane pool points to increase the crit multiplier via Perfect Strike ability
Damage: 2d8 + 28 ⇒ (2, 3) + 28 = 33

Emrael Bladewalker |

Spring attack says you make a movement and attack during the move - and the target does not get an AoO. It's cheesy, but she's shifting five feet to the side - still in range for the melee attack - and then moving back to where Elgan is. So... to J48, attack, then to M52?
As for the retcon, that's probably too generous - I know how many points she took since popping up that spell - three shots for 19 each.
7 images, Emrael is #1: 1d7 ⇒ 1
7 images, Emrael is #1: 1d7 ⇒ 3
6 images, Emrael is #1: 1d6 ⇒ 1
SO glad I bothered to say something! Freakin...

Elgan Dreadwood |

Elgan drops to the deck, landing lightly on his once-more-elf-shaped toes.
"Shuwuh t'ing dere chere'! Wun healing cummin raight up!" He says, snagging a wand from somewhere on his dragonskin armor and tapping Em lightly with it.
Cure Crit: 4d8 + 16 ⇒ (5, 7, 6, 3) + 16 = 37
Elgan observes the healing on the warrior, and shakes his head.
"Dat won' dew chere'. Stay close, Ah'll fix yeh up. Jus' whut deh heck iz a Dybbuk anyhoos?!?"
Seriously, why have I not heard of these beasties before?

Elgan Dreadwood |

Nice, well, not really, but you get my point. :) I read that article, and looked it up on the Paizo site.
As Elgan has NO chance of figuring that out on his own (i don't think he has a single point in K: Religion) his original question still stands. :)

Elgan Dreadwood |

Elgan Taps Em with the wand one more time, even as he watches the strange haunting before him with a hawk-like gaze.
Cure Crit on Em: 4d8 + 16 ⇒ (1, 5, 8, 8) + 16 = 38
Those two should have you almost full now, yes? Healed for 65 total if can still add right.
"Hm, now dat's intrestin'. All I gots teh say iz, if'n yer in deh sword, yer tawkin' an awful lot fer an in-ani-mate object!"
And he throws another handful of flame at the animated vampiress,...
To hit (Touch att): 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 40
Flame dmg: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
I failed to notice the +5 max on the '+1 per level' to dmg earlier. :P
Wow. Wait, I just threatened a crit with a fire touch attack. Shame it's only a 1d6, ;P
Attempt to confirm, 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 30
Additional fire dmg: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Elgan Dreadwood |

Elgan tosses another handful of flame, and then shifts into a BIG dire Lion, roaring as he bites & swipes At the animated corpse with his elemental backed natural attacks,...
Fire to hit: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22
Fire dmg: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Single bite attack as dire beast, (figure that he can't make a full attack): 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 40

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

Pip views the wreckage and smiles grimly
"Well, you can always tell when the Regulators throw a party "
He turns to his summoned pal
"Zip, ole buddy I think now it is safe to hit the trail. Until the next time"
Zippy gives him the hang ten waggle
" You got it Halfpint"
Zippy fades into a sparkling cloud and disappears
Pip gazes around
"Anyone seen Altai? Or that old monk and that surly Orc dude?"

Emrael Bladewalker |

Pip ambles over to the vampires corpse and takes a look at her ring
"Shiney"
I'd like to claim the protection ring if no one wants. I have a +2 one now someone can have if i get the +4. iirc they don't stack
They do not stack. Emrael has a +3 of that particular item. You can have the +4 or we could both get a +1 boost. AC is not really my problem against most foes, though, so feel free to claim that ring. I'm wondering about the slippers if no one wants them. The rest is all market goods to me.
"Bravo, friends. Even missing half our number, we defeated a legendary foe. Twice. Sadly, I am not sure what became of our fellows."
