"Beard of Utgard Loki, dwarf!" the northman booms; "do you even get out of bed in the morning ere you go to saucing yourself?!?!"
He flexes his massive biceps; "wee my ass!!! I could rip a gorgon's horns slap the f&!$ off his head!!!"

Altai nods at the big northerner's story. "Let's get this wheel back on your carriage. If we get a pulley rigged in those tall branches, you and Stig can pull the wagon up high enough to put the heel back on. That way, everyone should be happy."
Aduro speaks; "who's up for a climb?"
skills or strength rolls or whatever; gotta go to sleep; mayhap let somebody else pop off a bit too if they want.

Beldan Vale |

"So, Ottar, how did a big old Frutzii end up peddling rodent skins in the jungle?"
Beldan sidles close to Altai. “Psst, hey Altai, how do you know he’s, you know,” the thief makes a sort of effeminate hand gesture, “Fruitsy? Better not say it too loud though, he said he likes women, he might be in denial … ”

Strength: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
<Stig half-heatedly yanks the wagon up.>

A-J top; 1-16 side;
the trail is 20 feet wide, d-g; 1-15 and continues on off the map.
The horses are g-h 3-6.
Bel's up a tree 30 feet up, at h10, seeing that the pulley works;
stiggy's heaving at i8,
ottars at h7; both of them are heaving the rope.
f-g 11-13 is the wagon.
guys at e11, f11 under the wagon, d9, and Aduro's at j9 giving ottar encouragement.
There's a massive earthshaking rumbling that can be felt;
I need a position for Altai, Gittik, Oso, Pip and Elgan.
and.....I just got called in; be gone for like....5-6 hours prolly. If anyone has any conversational additions/questions for the npc's feel free to let me know.

dungeonmaster heathy |

Elgan's in D6.
The ground shakes like all mad hell.
It erupts under Altai, under the horses; a mouth big enough to swallow the wagon;
(Altai is in D7 now. Reflex save d.c. 20 or he's prone in D7 now.)
the mouth is attached to some gigantic shark mated to an armadillo; a bullette; the biggest bullette anyone has ever seen or even heard of.
The bullette is in e-h 3-6 now; it's eaten 3 of the draft horses. The third one makes a beeline south back to Cauldron.
Initiative.
Beat a 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

Beldan Vale |

Beldan rapid loads his crossbow, gripping the broad tree limb with his knees, and takes a couple of pot-shots down at the land shark, hoping he is catching it off guard.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (11) + 14 = 25 damage:1d8 ⇒ 7
Attack 2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 damage:1d8 ⇒ 4
If sneak attack applies: 5d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3, 1, 5) = 19, 5d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 3, 6, 4) = 19

Altai Iscarni |

After one look at the rampaging monster, Altai decides to get the hell out of harm's way. With a quick gesture, he disappears and then pops back into existence a little further down the road.
I'm using my Dimensional step special ability to get out from underneath the bulette. My new position is E13, where I use my standard action to stand up.

Oso Legumbe |

Oso runs forwards next to Gittik, then he carefully watches the beast as he calls on Kelanen's magical aid.
Casting on the defensive 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28, casting Bestow Curse
"Lose your speed, lose your power, do not fight, flee or die. You have some horses let that be enough."
Melee touch 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21, -6 to Dexterity, that may mean Stig can also act before the beast...should be easier to hit folks. Oso is at D7.

Elgan Dreadwood |

Caught by surprise, Elgan instinctively shifts into a Dire Wolf as the ginormous creature explodes out of the ground. As it crashes back onto the earth, the Druid is already flailing away at it, his adrenaline assisted by the timely aid of the diminutive bard's song of speed.
Bite/Paw/Paw/Hasted Bite. Includes bonuses from bard inspire courage:
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 181d8 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 171d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 191d6 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 131d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 131d6 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 131d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 331d8 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
Edit- Looks like maybe that last bite got in? ;)

Altai's able to "bamf" away, no problemmo.
I figured out the bulette's square of approach before you guys posted positions........I saw Altai there and said, "oh no...."

Aye....the cumbersome beast now lurches about like a puppy that's been huffing airplane glue....cursed by the bladegod now that he is.

dungeonmaster heathy |

Pip runs up with Oso, strumming furiously
"Shark, shark, shark attack!
This shark is like a maniac!"Casting Haste on the crew then resuming my +2 inspiring courage thingie ..
vumvum......
vumvumvumvum.......*scratches fingernails down a blackboard*

Rage on! 5's step to F7, knives flashing: RH Attack 1: 10+20+2(bard)+1(Haste)=AC 33, damage 2+9+2(bard)=13,

LH Attack 2: 10+18+2(bard)+1(Haste)=AC 30, damage 1+4+2=7+5 electricity.
The 5' step is to avoid Cleaving - this way, nobody's next to anyone else. And, damn, that bulette is big! And, um, it is its turn. :/

dungeonmaster heathy |

The massive bullette retorts; attacking with two massive claws and a bite. The bite hits for 34 in damage; one of the claws does 36 for a total of 70 h.p. in damage to the berserking hobnizgobliz.
Stiggy's up.
The guy under the wagon thinks better of it; rolls out on the other side. Four of the guys seem to be retreating south; pulling crossbows; they've gotten far far away.
Ottar says, "bump this! Let's go get that bastard, Stiggy!"
He lets go the rope; it's real heavy now;
five foots it to i6 pulling his greataxe and laying into the bulette...
14 h.p. in damage to the gargantuan thing.
Stiggy's up, everybody's up; Stiggy's first but I don't see the point of waiting on protocol if somebody else has a move ready....huzzah!!!
