. . . As for crunch, give me a 25 point buy – I will target dumped stats, so do so at your own risk. . . . Two traits, one drawback if you want it, but expect to be kicked in the teeth with it on occasion.
Just repeating a small bit from the first recruitment post that may have been forgotten. Items of particular interest are bolded. I chose my words carefully. I just don't want people to think I'm being a jerk later. I take drawbacks and dumped stats seriously. Consider yourselves forewarned, and with enough time to make changes you feel are needed.

I have been running a dozen characters through my head. Here is the current roster from what I can see. This is from Dolarre's list, so if I missed someone, blame him.
I might throw one into the mix, just have not had much time over the past week.
EDIT - I think I am going to have to skip this one. I had a great halfling swashbuckler, but you have so many melee types, that I would just be piling on. Unfortunately I cannot think of great divine or arcane characters right now and don't have the time in the morning to get one together.
Good luck all.

Rasim Kader |

Out of curiosity, why did you put two question marks next to my alignment?
If it's because I have a level in monk, I was formerly lawful and then lost my lawful alignment. So I can no longer take levels in monk, as per the class.
A monk who becomes nonlawful cannot gain new levels as a monk but retains all monk abilities.

As a Monk you generally have to be lawful. I put the question mark there as I was unsure whether it was an error on the character sheet. Same reason with the Necromancer, which is a class I am unfamiliar with, and Robert who has a male name and avatar, but which I thought said Female on his sheet.

A necromancer is a wizard specializing in the school of necromancy. Like an illusionist, or an evoker, or a conjurer, transmuter, enchanter, abjurer, and diviner.

I have also seen somewhere a 3rd party class called a necromancer. I always list it as Wizard(necromancer) or Wizard(divine school). Makes it easier for me, although I have seen many people refer to Wizard(conjurer) as just conjurer.

Sun sets as the applicants nurse the last dregs of their drinks. The Blue Macaw is crowded. The area near the door especially so. Half jokes are muttered between the pattons, but few people laugh no matter how clever the jest. As the last light slips from the sky and the evening is illuminated solely by the moon and stars a familiar gong goes off.
The contents of the Macaw vomit forth into the streets and spills in clumps into the courtyard coverered in dark stains from the 'test' earlier. The platform is filled, and this time ringed with armed men and but two of the Pharasmans. With out preamble, Davean read out numbers. 4 full teams are called out, including one containing the three called heretics earlier. The high priest spits their numbers with contempt, but he and they say nothing further about the incidents earlier.
The last team is next. He calls the numbers . . .
42
777
120
885
678
And 64
You will make up the last expedition. Meet here at first light for your instructions. May Pharasma judge you as you deserve.

Fantastic group of characters guys. I'm truly sorry I couldnt take everyone. We now must wait for the adventure to be released. For those who haven't interacted introduce yourselves to your new party members. Come up with an adventuring party name even if its as pedestrian as 'team 5'. Any items you consumed during recruitment are replaced free of charge. I will open the gameplay thread momentarily. Please only post there in character. The discussion thread for any ooc conversation. This looks like its going to be a blast.

Byron Swiftwater |

Byron approaches his newly assembled team.
"They say we need a team name. May I make a suggestion?" He says very casually. "I once read in one of my mothers journals that a creature lives around here in the sand, a small beetle called a scarab. They are strong and tough, but they are also one of the few insects in the whole world that sticks together like a family."
With that he steps aside and waits for other suggestions.

Zanac |

Zanac looks up in glee as he hears his number called. Of course he'd planned on sneaking in even if he hadn't been chosen Not really xD but now he wouldn't have to dodge the authorities. Zanac placed a hand over the golden clasp on his cloak. Just wait until I tell you about this one, Charlin. You'll probably call me a liar. Putting that thought aside for a minute Zanac steps forward to great his other teammates, giving them his usual, confident grin.
"Team name? Hrm...just because you're small doesn't mean the rest of us wish to be associated with such a tiny creature." Zanac says with a wink towards the gnome. "Just playing. However I would suggest something that fits us more. Many of us aren't exactly local so attaching our group to a local insect might not be quite as...effective as we wish."

Orcen Faust |

The Absalom native is rather pleased that his number was chosen - then again, it was a lucky number. He'd have been more surprise if he hadn't been picked.
Still, the choice of companions leaves something to be desired. A strange little gnome and his odd servant, an untrustworthy looking catfolk, a boisterous dwarf, an Osiriani youth with a shaved head, and a half-elf who seemed slightly out of it. He did hope that they could work together.
"This is certainly a ragged bunch of tomb raiders," He comments, before pausing and laughing a little. "Well, The Ragged Raiders suits us just fine, I think."

Graxzos Khar-Bulkhet |

Graxzos slaps Orcen on the back. "Yeah! You and me, princess! And these other weirdos, I guess." He runs an appraising eye over the rest of the team, then turns to Salomae.
"Sorry it didn't work out this time, girlie. Best of luck with the next lottery." He grins wolfishly. "And hey--if I survive this, mayhap I'll bring ya a little somethin' from the tombs! To remember our time together and whatnot."
Turning back to the group, he catches the end of the group name discussion. "A name, eh? Hey, I think I got a good one!" His eyes are shining slightly, either from inspiration or, perhaps, from ale. "We can be the...uh...the Brave Long Vultures as Whispered to by Things from Beyond!" He looks around, grinning proudly. "Think that gives us an air of class and mystique, eh?"
Group Name Generator: 4d100 ⇒ (16, 89, 50, 92) = 247
Heehee, sorry, I've just always wanted to try the Gamemastery guide name generator...it seems guaranteed to produce hilarity. :P Thanks for taking us on, Dolarre, and thanks to everyone who joined in--way too many great characters here!

The gnome laughs."Your right, guess I got too sentimental." He looked at the group, a mish-mash of culture and genealogy. "I guess we are no beetle after all, more like a Chimera."

Satinder "Tinder" Phandros |

We've got a busy night tonight so I won't have time for a proper post until the morning, but I just wanted to jump on real fast (despite my wife's complaints, hah!) to say thank you for choosing me and I can't wait to get into the thick of this game with all of you. However, don't you dare choose a team name without me. I love the idea of using the name generator from the GM guide, much hilarity to be had there. Until tomorrow, thanks again!

Zanac |

Zanac chuckled. "Aye, that'd be quite a bite more accurate." he says as he looks over the group of, for lack of a better term, misfits. Not a one in the group knew each other before arriving but it seemed that fate had brought them together for some reason or another. But for better or for worse this was the team, so he figured they should probably try and make the best of it.
Zanac wiped an imaginary speck of dirt off his golden cloak clasp and turned towards the gathering team. "Well, the team name can be handled later. First, we should probably properly introduce ourselves so we can start learning about our team before we start naming our team. My name is Zanac, and I'm a wondering museum curator. I've made it a personal mission of mine to explore as many ruins as I can in order to preserve as many pieces of the past as possible. Obviously I've picked up some...skills in my travels, but mostly out of necessity, dealing with tomb robbers and the occasional undead wondering around." Zanac smiles at the group, showing some of his teeth. "Who wants to go next?"
Bluff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 Attempting to hide being a "ninja" for as long as possible. It's not something you exactly tell everyone, ya know?
Also, this website doesn't like me. It's been double posting crap and now I think I have a buffered 1d20 that will roll a 13 on my next roll...actually lemme get rid of that if i can
Random Buffer Clearing: 1d20 ⇒ 5
Edit:nvm.../confused :'(. Anyways would people like to move this into "gameplay?"

Salomae Amsel |
Salomae smiles with a mixture of happiness and regret. Though she had hoped her own number would be called, she's pleased that some of her newfound acquaintances made the cut.
"It seems as if fate has something else in store for me. Good luck in there and stay alive, or else I'll have to come save you again," she says with a wink before departing.
Good luck and have fun guys! It was a blast.
