The group heals up, and Dreggar peers down the tunnel ahead. From this vantage point, he can't see anything. As you move down the tunnel, the floor slopes steeply, and Dreggar notices that the floor is unnaturally slippery.

Dreggar: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Sarephta: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

As they slide towards the opening, a blinding flash of light engulfs the 4 hapless adventurers with a blinding, glittering dust right before they hit the bottom. The dust blinds both Darkpaw and Dreggar.

Fall dmg: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1) = 7

All around you, you hear the sounds of pathfinders climbing and falling down adjacent chutes, as well as the sounds of major combat coming from ahead. As you pick yourselves up and pull yourselves together, you realize that you are in a giant arena.. hundreds of other combatants fight for their lives all around you against elemental creatures of every shape and size. You draw your weapons and run headlong into battle as two large earth elementals detach themselves from the mob and charge your direction. Fortunately for you, these elementals are cut down by an intercepting group that shot out of a tunnel nearby. In its place rises a huge water elemental!!

That was a mighty quick transition - you called for healing - can those that didn't heal due to not being able to get in a post for healing, heal?

Do we have an amount of time between previous scene and this scene for buffs?

Davorin looks at the monstrosity, not sure what to do with the latest fight. He sighs loudly, "Well, I suppose this isn't getting any better any time soon."

He steps forward slightly to meet the large creature, "I sure wish I could speak Aquan"

Davorin: That was a quick transition, but one that was necessary. Shifty's post above was the code word for an advance and I had to do what was necessary. If you haven't, please post a retcon of any healing you would have done prior to dropping down the tunnel. You are meant to drop into the middle of combat and immediately engage the circles of elementals, so no buffing rounds.

Lets see if I can describe this a bit better.
The colossal heaving mass of combatants surges around you, as wave after wave of contestants battle untold scores of elementals of every size and shape. These elementals are lined up shoulder to shoulder in concentric rings, a podium just barely visible behind them. As you enter the fray, the first wave of elementals around the ring begins to break apart as the separate groups break through the circle to engage the second rank.

Water elementals:
Some DR, Immunity to bleed, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, and stunning.
Not subject to critical hits or flanking. Does not take additional damage from precision-based attacks, such as sneak attack.
Elementals do not eat, breathe, or sleep.

Daryus casts shield and preps his sword, while Davorin successfully knows his target.

Sarephta channels out a healing spell.

***OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT***

Overseer thread

A lone Pathfinder suddenly breaks through the gaping wall of elementals and runs towards the Emissary’s platform, leading the charge. It is Jin-Goro of the Exchange faction!

Cheers erupt from fellow Pathfinders as they rally to keep the gap open whilst the brave and desperate lone figure races forward.

Jin-Goro reaches to touch the platform, but as he does, the Emissary bursts into a maddening laugh, and with a wave of his hand, the platform erupts into a shower of smoke, sparks, and cherry blossoms. Before your eyes, eight monks dressed in the robes of their sifu appear, standing in a circular formation atop the platform. With a calm grace, each one assumes a combat stance. Behind the wall of qinggong disciples, the Sifu again calmly seats himself. He closes his eyes, folds his legs, and sits in the lotus position, awaiting the victors.

This is it - the finale!

I think someone moved Jackie Chan by accident; I think he was adjacent to me and Davorin must be adjacent to him to attack with his falcata. So I moved him back and then moved me to flank with Davorin.
If I was wrong, please change his place and my actions acordingly

Jhon circles around the monk to flank with his friend as he continues attacking, but his rapier allways strikes a few inches away of were the monk really is. Sooner or later your potion will not protect you, and you'll feel the taste of my rapier threatens Jhon to the monk, clearly frustrated by the magic that protects him.

Jhon presses the attack, but is unable to distinguish the real monk.

Good point on the reach I forgot about that for you.
Personally I am not sure that the ray attacks give AOO's separate from the spellcasting AOO due to the duration being instaneous. The spell description does say "like", but that doesn't mean "same as". The description also says both rays go off simultaneously. I will split the odds with you, and err on your side as much as I can: One AOO for the spell casting, and one AOO for the rays.
Unfortunately, The first AOO doesn't meet AC, and the second AOO doesn't meet miss percentage.

Jhon finally manages to land a blow, drawing his rapier back with the tip bloody!

Edit: Peribras: I missed the fact that you were rolling a 1d2 not a 1d100.. Your last sling hit!

Jhon: Thank you for understanding, and I was trying to cut some slack with that 50 hitting. :-)

Davorin manages to land a spectacular blow on the monk, making him cry out as the blade bites deep.

Dreggar, Peribras, and Sarephta do not fare so well though, as they are all unable to mark their target!

The monk shudders, almost dropping to a knee under the effects of both the damage and an unseen force that seems to be draining his power. He comes back into focus.. just in time to pass out at your feet!!

I will give you a round to recover and reset yourselves before the next monk comes in. Also, with the code grey conditions set, I expect the game to wrap up before I can get my next post in. More to come, but post any healing or preparations for the next round. Darkpaw is back in the game as well. Initiative order and tracker are in the spoiler. If Shifty hasn't called the game, please make a post for this as well!

Just in case!:
As the party takes a well earned moment to catch their breath, they look around. The few remaining monks left standing are all looking worn and tired. It seems that they may be connected somehow.. loosing individual strength as their numbers fall to the overwhelming odds before them. Suddenly, another monk moves out from the dust and engages you!
