sounds good to me. So the standard action was to retrieve it; I would still need to stow it? Or is stowing it a move action, in which case I could have done it last round?

Peribras: Yes, stowing is a move action, and you can do that. Considering we are this far in, I will forgo the AOO's just to keep things simpler for now. I know its not exactly fair, but it is the best we can do right now without holding everything up trying to figure out who did what when, and how it cascades.

Dreggar finds and grabs a ruby, while Sarephta tries to poke the dastardly rogue again.. with equal success as last time.
Jhon looks for more rubies, but none seem to be in reach so he moves in to aid Daryus with boxing in the last remaining enemy.
Unfortunately, Daryus' hand is not guided as well this time, and his scimitar skitters off of the mans armor.

Under heavy pressure from three sides now, the thug steps in towards Daryus, and swings his sword.

Daryus takes his AoO (and probably misses, though the miss chance was good). Edit: might as well do my normal round too.

Then, he begins to cast another spell, taking precautions to protect himeself as he does.

He uses Spell Combat and defensive casts frigid touch, taking an additional -2 penalty to attack and adding +2 to his concentration. He then uses a swift action to activate Arcane Accuracy again, and then attacks with the scimitar.

Concentration check, DC 19: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31

A line of frost runs down the blade, and he swings again at the armored foe.

Scimitar attack: 1d20 + 8 - 2 - 2 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 8 - 2 - 2 + 4 = 11Scimitar damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12Cold damage: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 2, 6) = 1420% Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 54

Looks like another miss, but luckily the blade is still frosty.

Jhon can't see Davorin to see the frown on his face after the not-at-all veiled insult about his honor, "You know, you may not be able to see me, but I can hear you."

***OVERSEER ANNOUCEMENT***

Overseer thread

Without warning, loud slamming noises echo through the tavern, even over the fray of the combat within. Moments later, the front doors rupture in a shower of splinters. In full battle regalia, a contingent of Absalom’s First Guard rush into the room. Swinging heavy chains and nets, they beat into the brawlers en mass, dragging dozens to the floor. The remainder of the contestants break from their opponents, and the crowd devolves into a raging mob as all race frantically for the nearest exit to avoid arrest.

If you are no longer in the tavern, this is more for your awareness...

With the revision from missing Daryus' post and getting him and Davorin mixed up last turn, the damage sustained by the fighter was quite higher than I posted last.

The man falls under the mass onslaught from the group trying to get him to back off. Just as he succumbs to his wounds and Sarephta dismisses her cloud, The doors burst open and the town guard adds to the pandemonium with orders to decist and thumpings from their truncheons.

The crushing press of the roomful of fighters suddenly turns into a mob trying to break free for any exit available.

Mob Rules:
Individuals trapped within the mob can only take standard actions. Movement requires a successful Strength, Acrobatics, or Escape Artist check to force one’s way through the mob. Alternatively, individuals may attempt a Combat Maneuver check to swing at the crowd to try to disperse some of it. Dispersing the crowd clears a 5-foot square, which can prevent an ally from being trampled or blocked. However, if attacked, the mob fights back. Following any failed attempts to forcefully clear space, the attacking individual takes nonlethal damage each round (as if the mob were a swarm occupying the same space), until he is knocked unconscious or able to exit the room. A successful attempt to disperse the mob clears the 5-foot square for 1 round around that character.
DC's for movement:
Strength/Acrobatics/Escape Artist DC 16
Escape Artist DC 16
Mob CMD 23

We will continue in Initiative order, and after every round, I will roll for the damage to be applied to all characters still in the room (only exception would be a successful attempt to disperse the mob). Luckily, you are close to a main exit and can escape that way. Other options include some of the side rooms next to Dreggar and Jhon. Entering these room will provide some respite.

Peribras: In your last post on Thursday, you posted "Peribras follows along eying his wounds", but I do not believe you updated his location on the map. Hence the current location. If you are unable to move yourself, Just say the word and we will get you taken care of. As for this move, I will need one of the checks from the spoiler above and I can move your token if you tell me which direction you would like to go.

No worries. Glad we got everything cleared up! I have moved your token to reflect 20 ft movement towards the others.

I guess I'm a little confused, I thought the damage was only if we tried to CMB a space. Though honestly it's Tim Hithcock, so who knows what he really meant.

So it's just repeated checks to get out? Should we just roll until we succeed if we're nearly to the door? Might be faster.

It appears that I misinterpreted some of the materiel. The 3d6 is only if you attempt to clear the area, and not a given at the end of each round as I thought. No Non lethal damage for anyone. There is no punitive damage for each round, but there is a round limit that everyone must be out of the building by.. so lets to this. Everyone look at the map, and roll what you need to, to get out of the building, max of 4 attempts. If you choose to use the CMB check, you will then take the 3d6

Is there anyway to help Peribras? I'm pretty confident I can go out in the time limit, So I'm going to intimidate the mob to move away of the halfling. Can that lower a little Peribras DC?

After having some threats in return he moves out of the inn and watches to see if Peribras needs more help.

Now that no one is taking 3d6 dmg every turn, there is a very good chance for him to get out in time.. he only needs 2 successful rolls out of 4 chances. You are more than welcome to move to him and attempt a CMB check to clear out his space, but be warned that the 3d6 then comes back into play for you. As for the intimidation, I do not believe that to be an allowed check considering that they are already in a mad scramble of trying to escape from the guards.. there is not much you can do to intimidate someone already fleeing for their lives. At this point, you have a choice of either waiting until he rolls a pass or fail and acting then, or exiting the tavern with Sarephta using your current roll.
