Jorgan orders Hops into the building as he swings again at the red orc!

He then steps closer to the door.

Kraygan sways in the saddle, dizzy from blood loss and heavy drinking earlier. The orc is too close for the lance, and the fire is too close to withdraw again. He reaches for another healing potion, and remembers too late that he drank the last one. His hand however, finds something else of great power - the keg.

"If I'm going down, then I'm going down WITH ALE IN ME BELLY!!"

Guzzling alchohol, he commands Haggis to ramming speed!

Seeing the lone orc, Van moves to flank and swing his hammer!

"Ye thinks we should charge the building to the north, try to hem them in, so we don't get surrounded?" Van hollers.

"What? No, let's get to the barrier and healing!" Wren looks at the civilian and hopes the man can hurry.

@ Kraygan- If I had to guesstimate I would say 10 for a very small keg

Jorgan misses the orc as he shifts into the building.

Getting a bit intoxicated Kragan ushers Haggis into the orc. The hefty Yak ends up trampling the lone orc, ending it's life as Vanderhoff moves towards the burned building to heal himself.

The orcs begin their descent!

Jorgan retreats into the building and uses the last of his magic to heal himself. He then pulls out the party wand.

Round 7

Wren looks agog as the dwarves retreat into the building rather than seeking the safety of the barricade and defenders of Trunau.

Wren runs back.

He looks to make sure the citizen moves along as well.

"Citizen, see if there any archers nearby. One or two might join me at the barricade," Wren asks.

Kraygan trots up to the doorway of the building where the rest of his clan is held up, and with a loud belch, declares, "We're winnin!"

He then notices the approach of more orcs and growls, "Someone heal me, I'm gonna charge. Right after another drink." He guzzles more ale and laughs like a maniac.

Move to door. Movement to drink and add a round to rage.
Rage - 3/6 used.
Keg - 4/10 used (assuming he drank some earlier).

Van steps into the doorway, grabs the wand for Jorgan, and heal Kraygan with it. "This outta help, cousin." He then holds the wand out, in case Jorgan wants to grab it back.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Jorgan and Vanderhoff heal their wounds once in the vicinity of the building as Wren runs to the barricade. The healers look wild-eyed at the elf as he rushes in at them. Hearing the battle through the smoky courtyard the healer understands and runs off to find some guards.

A couple other healers begin to tend to Wren's wounds, quickly stanching any bleeding that the elf may have.

Torgan steps back, drops his maulaxe and grabs the wand of Cure Light Wounds from Vanderhoff. "We got incomin'" states the dwarf plainly as he summons a blast of healing energy into his system.

He holds the wand out for Vanderhoff to take it back. "Get back in t' th'building. Maybe we can bottleneck 'em." Torgan advises in Dwarvish to his brethren.

Torgan attempts to bottleneck the small hut as he heals a small portion of his wounds.

The orcs cautiously move forward as a couple of them stop to grab some more loot from the rubble while the rest of their group is preoccupied.

The red orc swings his spiked chain at Kraygan

"Move o'er and gimme shome room fer me lance!" Kraygan calls out to Torgan. Since the keg is still in hand he automatically takes another swift drink. Spitting foam he calls back to Vanderhoff. "More healin!"

Jorgan taps the healing wand against Hops' bloody gash, slightly easing his friend's pain.

As the orc charges at Kraygan he is able to set his lance in the creature's path injuring it.

Haggis rears back just as the Orc moves out of the Yak's path. Unfortunately the orc moved into Kraygan's lance path and loses the majority of it's teeth and skull as it falls to the ground in a heap.

Wren stares at the orcs swarming the dwarves position...a position wisely vacated by the smart, brilliant, and pointied.

They are all going to die. All of them.
Why didn't they listen to me?

Wren's jaw sets angrily.

This isn't on you...this is what happens when you take drunks into battle...it addles the wits.

Wren swallows to retreat behind the barricade, looking for help that is not sure will come.

One step...then another...towards safely. Towards healing. Into Trunau with the other defenders.

And then he turns back again towards the dwarfscrum and the oncoming orc rush, a look of grim self-loathing on his face.

Fine. I shall end myself here...for this. For them.

Wren twists his cold iron ring with his left hand, begging for remembrance of things past.

Vanderhoff grabs the wand being passed around like a relay baton, then taps Kraygan with it.

Aaaaaand finals are over. Sorry for the delay.

Torgan picks up his maulaxe from the ground and hefts it at the yellow-garbed orc.

Maulaxe: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 2 = 9

Since it's a pretty certain thing the orcs will attack, here is an AoO from Kraygan's lance on any that provoke from him.

Yay! Lunch break and Grats on finals being over. That is always a good feeling. :)

Torgan grasps his maulaxe firmly as he hurls it at the oncoming orc. The axe flips end of end and actaully slams into the orc's legs causing it to stumble in the rubble.

The orcs descend on the dwarves at the door as Kraygan lashes out with his lance. The tip catches the green orc in the shoulder, dislocating it.

The yellow orc whips his spiked chain at Torgan.

Torgan grabs his waraxe with both hands and brings it down on the yellow-garbed orc, hoping to end his miserable life.

Round 9, Part 1

Wren releases the re-built magical energies saved in his ring, channeling the power through arcane words and gestures...another few crushed rose petals falling from his fingers.

Cast Sleep DC 14 Will. Looks like I can get Red, Pink, & Light blue in one burst.

Wren still has stnd and move actions left...will depend on saves from Sleep.

Vanderhoff drops his hammer, snatches his great axe from his back, and swings hard at the orc to his north.

Looks like I might be able to squeeze in there.

Jorgan tells Hops to stay back as he steps up and swings his axe with his dwarven brethren!

Jorgan embeds his axe into the green orc's neck while Torgan's waraxe splits open the orc's leather armor, though dealing it no harm

Vanderhoff slams his hammer into the door, nearly taking the frame of the door with it.

Wren's spell completes as a small group of the orcs begin to get a little tired.

Two of the orcs shake their heads as if clearing them as the light blue orc falls face first onto the ground, snoring loudly.

With orcs, living and dead, crowding around them, Kraygan finds no room left to maneuver on Haggis. Throwing down his lance, he whips out his waraxe and chops at the nearest ugly green face.

Wren grits his teeth as only one of the orcs fall to his magics. They must have their dark god's own luck.

Wren fires an arrow at hotpink orc.

Hahaha I have no clue. I forgot what the save was. Looked it up again and though oh man a -1. All three are going to fail this easy!

Throwing his lance to the ground, Kraygan flies into a fury! Haggis slams into the orc's knee, completely crushing it allowing Kraygan to finish it off with his axe.

Wren fires a quick arrow at the pink orc. An arrow grazes into it's lower side. Looking to the elf the orc takes off after him as the remaining orcs lash out at the dwarves.

Seeing his cousin, Vanderhoff grabs the wand from Jorgan, steps into the scrum, between two orcs, and taps Torgan with it. Does Jorgan still have the wand?

@Van: You had the wand last. You likely dropped it to wield your greataxe, so you'd spend a move action to retrieve it from the ground, provoking from two of the orcs.

No, Jorgan grabbed it back to heal Hops I think. Unless we're using the two different wants at once but I thought we were just using the new one. Although Jorgan probably had to use a move action to stow it last round, which I didn't think about mentioning but doesn't affect his actions in any way.

I though Jorgan took it back, and couldn't remember if he wielded a 2H weapon. If it works, Van will wait until Kraygan, then move over and cast.

Van was the last to have the wand to heal Kraygan. His next action he did not move but drew his greataxe so used move action to stow wand and draw greataxe. Seeing as the wand was not at the ready I will use you spell action.

Jorgan swings his hefty axe at the orc through the rubble. He is able to land a solid blow acriss the orc's chest. Haggis and Kraygan finish off the orc in a drunken blinding rampage.

Vanderhoff attempts to defensively heal Torgan without drawing the ire of the Orcs. He doesn't seem to be able to focus enough and loses his thoughts.

Sounds good.

Torgan lashes out with his maulaxe. His vision wavers becoming black. His axe is able to catch the Orc in the leg just as Torgan falls unconscious to the ground. His bleeding seems to subside quickly as he lays there.

Wren is able to fire another arrow into the Orc on the move. The Orc falters but seems too enraged. Crush SMALL ELF! it roars across the field as it givs chase once again.

The orcs swing their spiked chains at Vanderhoff and Kraygan as the pink orc lashes out with his orc doubleaxe.

Wren moves away, using the barrier as cover to fire again at the orc.

Rage drops Kraygan's AC down to 17, so he gets hit. It can't do enough damage to outright drop him, so I'll make another round of attacks.

"TORGAAAAANNN!" Kraygan calls out as his cousin falls. He then takes a viscous wound himself that leaves him reeling in the saddle.

"AAARGHH! Berzsh' Khazshudh GASHUUUKKKHH!" He cries an incoherent drunken dwarven tirade, raises his keg in defiance, and swings his axe as Haggis thrashes about with his horns.
