Unable to get comfortable in the sweatbox, Morgan grimaces in pain while he fumes about the situation he has found himself in. Being on this ship was getting to him more and more. Pluggs and Scourge didn't care about keeping a healthy crew, but just wanted to execute their own vicious pleasures. And while the Captain seemed to be the voice of reason so far, Morgan wasn't sure whether the man cared what happened to his crew or not. Laying his head against the metal of the box, the world started to feel like a daze as he thought on the way things were going on this ship.

Renzuran sips his rum tonight, not wishing to compound the fatigue he had already built up from the day's activities.

Afterwards he turns in to get some rest for what is likely to be another hard day on the rigging.

Recover from fatigue.

Its late at night when Morgan is released from the sweat box. Sandara, kroop, Grok and, the Captain are all there to great him as he steps out. With a nod from the Captain Sandara starts healing Morgan back to full health. 'There's a ship ahead of us and I want it taken. Get below deck and sleep well for tomorrow will be a busy day." With that the captain walks off.

"The plan is to have the crew hit hard tomorrow evening so you have some time but, be ready when the time comes." Sandara whispers.

"Tell your friends to stop by tomorrow to get all there gear back. Can't have any of you at less then full strength.' Gork states as she waves dragging Kroop off for some drinks.

The next day Every one is working hard and the distance between the ships is becoming less and less. Please state your actions to get ready.

Still upset at being thrown in the sweatbox, Morgan simply nods his head in confirmation before heading to his bunk to sleep. He wasn't really sure why the Captain had let him off with no further punishment, maybe he had realized that to sack a ship while a man laid in the sweatbox was foolish. Whatever the reason, Morgan would swallow his anger for now and follow the Captain's orders.

Sandara's healing allows him to have enough energy to wake early, before the rest of the crew. Moving to the bunk of each of his friends, he wakes them individually. Whispering Kroop's message to each of them, he will then go about his task of helping the Wormwood get closer to the other ship. Sometime during the day, he makes sure to stop by the Quartermaster's shop, picking up his items and putting them on. Still uncertain of the fate of Syl and Fipps, Morgan keeps his eyes open and sticks close to either Sandara of his friends when possible.

Glad to feel the weight of his armor and the familiar grip of his cutlass once more, Morgan slips his blade into its sheath as they prepare to attack. Before the attack commences, Morgan makes sure to steal a quick kiss from Sandara, saying with a mischevious grin, "Ta get a bit o' Besmara's luck."

Climbing up from below deck, Renzuran cracks his neck and looks to the horizon. The targeted ship is getting closer and if he's going to be ready to board with the others, he'll need his gear.

Stopping by the quartermaster's Darber is relieved to find that he is able to retrieve his weapons without incident. Crossbow, club, dagger, and of course the rapier...he unsheathes the blade and inspects the edge. Even after all this time in storage it still carries a wicked edge, and he smiles, that lopsided grin slightly unnerving to those who witness it.

He straps down his gear, grips his holy symbol in a moment of quiet prayer for the coming pillaging, and runs to take his position for the oncoming raid.

Okay, I finally managed to reconstruct my character after my idiotic accident. Sorry it took so long.. Trouble is, I couldn't for the life of me remember what my second trait was. Looking at the adopted trait and then the World traveler trait I found that it goes along very well with my backstory. Only problem is this would give me diplomacy as a class skill and increase it by one, giving me, after everything, a +7 diplomacy. Previously all of my checks were made at +3. Would you allow me to take the trait regardless or should I switch it with a different one?

Hardly sleeping the night before the battle, Servi wakes hardly cognizant of her surroundings. She steadies herself and maneuvers listlessly through the decks before finding the hold and creeping in. She creeps her way towards her familiar's tank, careful to not make any sounds, but as she finally reaches the tank she falls, crashing to the stained wooden floor and begins sobbing.

Stifling her cries, Servi reaches up and places her hand on the glass tank's facade. "They tell me I'm going to have to fight today. Hell, they even let me go back to Grok to get that stupid crossbow that captain... captain... blast it's only been a week and I can't even remember his name. It feels like it's been a month. That old pricey crossbow he gave me. He said it works underwater, but whatever. There's no way I'd be able to get you out of here, but I'll need your help. I'll need to survive today... so I can get revenge on the bastards who whipped me. They'll pay... they'll all pay."

Just so we are clear, Servi you have your companion and everyone is at full health. Also, Servi thats fine stuff happens. Morgan because of the sweatbox your a little stiff but, the saves left you in good health so to speak. Nothing a little rum and a good fight can't cure.

After some time waiting Riaris Krine walks over to the group. Her mood foul and the words that came out of her mouth more so. "You good for nothing landy's haven't even gotten properly trained by me yet and your about to see your first pillaging. It would be best if you lot stayed out of the way. However, Cap-n wants you lot to hold the Aft deck and sterncastle of there ship. that much should be simple enough for you lot." A few moments pass and she speaks up again "Ah and don't let anyone escape the ship. We be aiming to take that ship for ourselves and will need all the crew we can get from whats left after the fight. I'll leave how you do it to you. more deaths means less profit for all. WE CLEAR!!!"

Now would be the time for any questions. About the fight about to happen.

Renzuran leans back against a railing and merely listens to the group ask their queries. As for him, he was indifferent. A ship needed taking, aft deck and sterncastle were to be held, keep the deaths to a minimum, don't let anyone escape; seemed simple enough. Who they were boarding was almost irrelevant in his mind. Pillaging was a sacred duty in and of itself.

No-Eyes thought about the coming fight. He had no dispute with other sailors, but if he had to fight for his shipmates, he would do it.

Any last things you wish to pick up?

Krine starts to walk off turning to Morgan "You'll have to go by one from Grok. With that she stalks off, her conversation finished with you all and finds another group to pass orders to. The other officers are very active as they wait for the other vessel to finally come within range. The crew is ready with all manor of boarding equipment. Peppery can be seen on the forecastle, standing there ready to act.

In time the vessel now identifiable as a rahadoumi vessel closes to within a close firing range. At exactly that moment the ship cannon go off and the opposing ship's crew open fire as well. A moment later, Peppery goes into a fury of casting and the rahadoumi ship is covered no in a blanket of fog. As the ships move closer and closer together, the rahadoumi vessel sails out of one cloud only to be trapped in another.

The ships finally come near enough that the pirates begin hooking the two vessels together. As the ships come together pirates swarm over the rails onto the other ship, Captain Harrigan at the front, all of them disappearing into the fog.

There are 6 rahadoumi sailors between the aft deck and sterncastle. Two with swords on both stairs up blocking a clear path, two with muskets on the sterncastle, one with a holy symbol and one hands free. The last two are on the Aft deck.

The fog is very thick. So concealment against those adjacent to you. Full Concealment (effectively invisible) against those further away. Same effect as a fog cloud spell. The ship will move in and out of the fog, so I'll let you know when it lifts and when it returns. To the crew that join from my other game round 3 will bee when your set free into the chaos. Hopping on the deck of the enemy ship, Servi can't help but stare around fascinated at the broiling chaos surrounding her. The screams of cries of bloodied, murdered men fills the air, the fog seeming almost a contradiction as it stands resolute and constant in the storm of violence.

"Okay, Servi, focus, you can do this. Concentrate. First priority; disable enemy healers."

Servi spies the enemy holding the religious icon in a defensive stance and Servi moves forward to try and disable him before he can do any damage. For less than a moment a red flag pops up in her mind that almost makes her falter, "Rahadoumi, but a cleric..." She regains her composure however and continues her attack, reaching out to the mind of the enemy cleric willing exhaustion and tiredness, trying to force the man into a willful sleep like so many of her previous patrons before him. Seeing Morgan charge into the vessel, Renzuran figures that he's less likely to get overwhelmed if he sticks close to somebody else. Club in hand, he follows after the fighter to the stairs, not bothering to purchase a sap from Grok as he lacks experience with the weapon.

While Morgan attacks the Rahadoumi swordsman directly, Darber sidles up from another direction and calls upon one of Besmara's gifts: a hand charged with chaotic energy that can curse his foe with misfortune.

As Morgan rushes up the Rahadoumi swordsman swings his sword in greeting. "Attack this ship will you. You bloody Pirates are going to pay dearly." However both men's weapons clash together both having done no damage to the other. The claric of the group raises his holy symbol and starts to chant however, Servi's hex reaches him first and he falls to the floor deep asleep. As Servi's target slumps down the man nest to her turns and with a few waves of his hand a needle strikes her dealing 5 points of damage.

Renzuran seeing a moment of clarity among-st the chaos rushes the second stairway casting as he does. The soldier also swings at him in greeting but, his aim is off as the ships take a sudden jolt. Sandara, Grok and Cog take the opportunity to run into the captains quarters and down the stairs...

The two marksmen on the sterncastle picked there targets and with the sound of thunder there muskets go off. However, only one bullet is felt as it passes Morgans side. There coursing of the fog reminds the lot of you of Krine as they curse and yell.

The sudden jolt of the ship makes the sailor watching over the Rahadoumi prisoners stagger into bars of the cell and then onto his sword as three unknown persons approach. The man is with in reach but, these three are armed and look ready to kill when there eyes fall on the group. "Hello hello, what have we here..." Grok growls but, her growl starts to turn into a half smile. "Prisoners or mutiners? you think? She turns to Sandara and Cog "What do you two say we do with them?... As she looks around she catches 3 soldiers running up the steps. After them! can't let them excape! As she yells this they burst through the door and onto the main deck. All three make a mad dash for the side of the ship. Where two of them start to free the first of two long boats... The last man looks ready to fight off any aggressors and he moves his weapon as such.

Following Sasha to the main deck he sees her try to entangle the guarding solider. "Daz afine trick yo got der. Empressive, bud ize got atrick too."

As Eugweni speaks the air around him starts to move faster and faster, turning into a forceful wind. The wind circles him and he points at the soldiers by the long boat and the wind and cloud race towards the soldier.

"AAAGH!"

Renzuran cries out as the slug strikes him in the torso. Through sheer luck, it seemed to have glanced off of one of the studs in his leather armor and avoided doing internal damage, but it still hurt like hell.

Sucking in a breath through clenched teeth, he squinted toward the shooter and made a decision.

I'm a little unclear on my position at the moment, so one of two things is going to happen:

Assuming that I'm still fighting the swordsman on the stairs and he hasn't given up yet, I'm going to take another swing with the club.

-4 penalty for attempting to inflict nonlethal damage with a lethal weapon.
Attack: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (12) - 2 = 10
Damage (nonlethal): 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

If the swordsman gave up or is on the run, I'm going to cast lesser confusion on the marksman, assuming he is in range. If necessary, I will move closer to him to do so.

Move action to get within casting range (30 ft. range).
Cast lesser confusion (subject becomes confused for one round; DC 14 Will).

Looking that the Rahadoumi swordsman for an instant, he exclaims, " T'row ya blade down! Ye better be sure and NOT have a change o' heart matey, O' me and ol' Gertrude here will have ta pay ya a visit!" Morgan says this as he indicates the cutlass hanging from the scabbard at his hip. After the swordsman drops his blade, Morgan pushes past the rahadoumi, Moving closer to the nearest caster.

intimidate: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

If there is a clear path to one of the casters, then Morgan will move to confront a caster, if he will have to go through a rifleman first, we will move towards a rifleman instead. Intimidate is to convince the swordsman to be sincere in his surrender.

Hearing Morgans words the man drops his weapon and stays low. The Rahadoumi swordsman and Renzuran's continue there tug of war so to speak to gain the upper hand but, neither pulls ahead so far. The cleric backs up as Morgan starts to close in on the fellow. His wizard friend however casts magic missile as he gets up aiming for Morgan. Having become very aggression on there cleric the group of gunmen turn there focus on Morgan and hit the poor Man HARD. The after shock of the shot leaves little in the way of understanding that if those gun shot hit more things could, and may turn ugly fast if not handled.
16 damage Morgan

The men work on the long boats rapidly as a gust of wind knocks one backwords Tripping one up and pushing the other into the ropes of Sasha's spell tangling them both up for the moment... As the wind disperses so does one of the fog spells, at lest for know.
Boat freed 1/6

Seeing the man with a heart and sword about to be attacked from behind Eugeni quickly whips his arms around above him, bending at the waist so that his torso can follow the path his arms create. In response to his movements a small cloud begins to gather above his head. Yelling at the man being chased he throws the cloud at the pursuer. "Oye, awatch dat stern of urs der!"
