Xix shrugs and tags along as Draka gives her the silent treatment. She looks back and forth between her and Zane. "Does that mean she likes me?" She asks with a smile.

This rectangular chamber has various illuminated panels and monitors along its walls. Some show what looks like the schematics of the entire structure, while others seem to show the interior of the planet. In the latter images, squads of robots skitter along the technology-studded walls of a massive tunnel. A circular platform stands in the center of the room, projecting a hologram of a tall figure clad in white robes. The figure gestures at the various screens, seemingly attempting to direct the robots in their tasks.

The hologram turns and speaks in common. “Oh, thank the First Cause! I thought I was going to be stuck with these lunatics forever. You are here to help, yes?”

Abe couldn't have put it better himself. He keeps his weapon steady on the hologram, remembering the one that chased them from a distant complex not so long ago. They could be feisty.

”Eltreth, huh? Any relation to a jerk named Osteth?” Dash prods, wondering who’s really on the side of order vs chaos.

He checks his mental list...

He waits for Dash's questions to be answered before asking a question of his own.

Coach is baiting the guy. Coach knows this thing is our big enemy. He's gonna find out what is important for the hologram guy to get done and then do the opposite.

What's a good way to help? The Zane is good at destroying things.

Zane walks over to the joystick that should help control the droids he's been directed to "guide".
He looks at the stuff. Not wanting to understand how it works.
Not certain that the robot's will respond.
He then moves toward the big monitor Eltreth is working on.
Without warning, there's a huge Ultrathin Longsword called Boingo in Zane's hands and going straight into the computer. Zane aims for the guts of the console. Satisfied only if he gets maximum sparks and damage.

He doesn't want to mess with the droids. He wants to mess with the thing Elreth is working on. That's the prize.

Abe, Vetch and Zane begin to work the controls. Though for each one they reach out and grab at their hands seem to pass right through. The computer terminals and controls are all holograms. Eltreth smiles as he disappears into his platform out of sight. The entire room fills with electricity as sharp arcs fling to every corner. Dash is just happy he didn't go in as it surely would have fried each of his boards.

Only after disengaging himself does he have regrets about anything, and notices a cool helmet and some old batteries. He tosses the helmet to Abe, and the batteries to Dash.

”Abe, maybe this sovereign helm will make you happy. And Dash, maybe these batteries will keep you from being lonely at night.”

He stands, wobbles a moment, and suggests a quick rest before proceeding. ”I’d like to, you know, clean up a little and get my hair to stop from standing on end.”

If possible, he’ll take ten minutes, spend a resolve, and restore his stamina.

Dash shakes his head at his burnt crew. "I wish I could say I told you so, but you numbskulls were too quick to leap into his trap."

He catches the helm tossed by Abe and passes the batteries over to the mechanic. "Oh.. hmm. Yes. I think this is the perfect tool for a perfect brain." He slides it over his head.

To the crew, "So we can assume whatever Eltreth said, the truth is probably the opposite. The next trap will likely be an ambush by more of those f*#%ing cultists. And since there's only one door left, I suggest everyone grab a grenade or two, and we bomb out the mad motherf*#%ers."

The group wobbles around, stunned from the electrical surges as Vetch's fur stands nearly on end. You toss around a few of the upgrades laying around the room.

Like Abe, Vetch takes 10 minutes to patch himself up. When others are ready, he'll hide back and ready to assault the room, pistol in hand.

Xix snaps her fingers across a portion of Vetch's fur that sizzle and smokes. "Smoking." She fans herself, giggling. Drawing grenades the group lines the remaining doorway.

The northern door of this chamber opens onto a raised platform that overlooks various panels alight and abuzz with digital activity. Screens flicker with schematics of the many pieces of technology that control the kishalee megastructure, while others show views of legions of small robots repairing and maintaining massive mechanisms. The shadows here move strangely, seemingly having a life of their own. A circular dais occupies a second raised platform in the eastern end of the room.

Standing in the chamber, ready for a fight are several more cultists as well as a shifting and incorporeal shade. As the door opens the shade already has a finger raised as a blackened ray leaps out at Zane.

Dash tosses and old battery into the room. Spinning in place the battery's chemicals cause a violent chain reaction as the sides bulge and explode.

Vetch's spell brings one of the cultists as well as one of the shades to a low crawl. Abe goes to toss a grenade into the room and ends up fumbling it. Dropping it at his feet Abe kicks the grenade further away from him.

Bouncing off the wall the grenade explodes. Waiting to hear on what type of grenade it is first as it will matter on some of the enemies. Messalina fires dry ice built up in her system into one of the cultist's face. he screams, clawing at it, pulling away small bits of skin.

The spawn easily pass through the walls as they materialize beside you in the hallway. A pair of wispy hands claw out at Messalina.

This spell allows you a degree of control over an undead creature. If the target is intelligent, it perceives your words and actions favorably (treat its attitude as friendly). It will not attack you while the spell lasts. You can give the target suggestions, but you must succeed at an opposed Charisma check to convince it to do anything it wouldn’t ordinarily do. (Retries are not allowed.) An intelligent commanded undead never obeys suicidal or obviously harmful suggestions, but it might be convinced that something very dangerous is worth doing.

An unintelligent undead creature gets no saving throw against this spell. When you control a mindless being, you can communicate only basic commands, such as “Come here,” “Go there,” “Fight,” “Stand still,” and so on. Unintelligent undead won’t resist suicidal or obviously harmful orders.

Any act by you or your apparent allies that threatens the commanded undead (regardless of its Intelligence) breaks the spell. You command the undead creature by voice and it understands you, no matter what language you speak.

DC 18 will save. No save if the creature is unintelligent, like Zane. Also, seems like starfinder likes to boost monster saves to stupid levels. Makes spells almost pointless. As a comparison, Dash is a caster and has a will save of +6... wtf.

Yea the monster's saves and to hits seem high each time. Even if up to the highest armors it only seems to bring it just below a 50/50.

Xix watches in amazement she pulls out a small pistol and fires it at the cultists.

The bullet pierces the suit of the lead cultist and Xix frowns, staring at her pistol. Q-O get in there." Out of the room that Xix came from stomps a medium bipedal drone, carrying a tactical swoophammer. It stomps past into the room next to Draka. This by far seems to excite the ysoki even more.

Dash turns and gains complete control over one of the undead shade spawns as it seems to hover in the air.

Seeing that Draka and the strange robot-a-tron have the cultists bottlenecked.
His third eye looks to the left and sees enemies moving through the walls.

Zane pivots and shoots a bolt into the oncoming spawn that looks to hurt Vetch or Abe.
Bubba: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33 laser on Orange Spawn. minus 4 if I don't cover.

I also forgot to take my viscious damage last time. Here's the total hurt. only shooting once due to miss chance and unknown cover.

One of the spawns passes through the wall, following Dash's commands without question. Feeling the overwhelming surge coming from Vetch the orange-hued shade passes through the wall and reaches into Vetch's chest.

Draka seems to have a lot of difficulty hitting the cultists as her hammer bounces off of the thicker armor. Concern comes over her face as her hands shake from exhaustion. "What happening?" Zane fires another powerful shot into the weakened cultists who only seems to get glee from the pain as several of his fingers are scorched free from his body.

Eltreth’s image manifests on the holographic dais as you battle Malice and her forces. "Remember your duty to the Devourer!" He frets. Malice only seems to glower at the holographic imagery. She holds her hand up where a dark, spinning disk made of pure force hums. She throws it at Draka.

He brandishes it against the terribly haggard Cultist in blue. Swinging down with all his might.

Seeing that he obliterated the cultist into a pile of bone and sinew, he asks Draka to now spring to action.

Draka's hands continue to shake, infuriating the vesk even more as she hurls the weapon to the ground, ready to go in with her claws before The Zane steps in front of her and completely slices right through the cultists head. He has definitely gone to the blood gate.

Malice conjures up a second disc made of up dark energy around her and let's it fly.

The Zane quickly raises his sword, blocking the forcedisk as it clatters against the blade. Spatters of dark energy fling around it before dissipating.
