Perfire Ridal |

Perfire cautiously moves in to the tower. Having difficulty spotting the goblin guard in the dark corner he again draws upon the power of his blood and floats a torch towards where he thinks the creature is hiding.
Just a little more mage hand action
'I think more are on their way' Perfire says with concern.

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

Wymond shouts in equal amounts anger and pain as the horsechopper tears a gash in his chain shirt.
"BLOODY 'ELL! This was my father's shirt, ya wee wretch!" he says as he closes with the goblin, batting the horsechopper out of the way with his own axe and raising it for another overhead chop.

Greataxe Damage: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Distracted by his injury, the axe clangs harmlessly into the floor. Wymond lets out a string of farmboy profanity.

Zaia Acayan |

Leaving her lit torch on the ground for now, Zaia moved up cautiously to the opening of the cavern (15 ft) where the goblin was fighting with two of her companions. Using the two lights around the goblin to try to pinpoint it, she took aim and fired her sling at the howling goblin.

GM Tarondor |

Although the goblin ducks Wymond's big axe, Zaia's aim is spot-on and her sling stone hits the little pest right between the eyes, making him fall back against the wall before regaining his senses.

You folks may want some more torches.
Yirrik lunges at the goblin, driving him back, but failing to harm him. The goblin drops the horsechopper, pulls out a long knife and stabs at Wymond. "Goblins smash and goblins bite! Goblins kill and goblins fight!"

Perfire Ridal |

Perfire sees Wymond strike down the goblin and blinks for a moment. Then, hearing the movement in the darkness he points his finger at the torch next to Zaia and it lifts from the floor. Perfire breathes heavily as even this small amount of arcane energy courses through him. The halfling directs the torch into the darkness, attempting to find the source of the noise.
'I definitely think something else is coming.' He says with dread in his voice.

mage hand, again. Nice hit Wymond

Zaia Acayan |

I'm going with Wymond kills the goblin holding the horsechopper and we're momentarily out of combat... If it's miraculously still up ... then Zaia will attempt this as soon as she is able to.
Upon the final strike to the goblin by Wymond's hand, Zaia moves back and calls the injured, closer to her.
"I will channel some healing to those wounded, but I'm unable to exclude both goblin dog and goblin from its effect, so draw closer to me, please."
If possible, Zaia will position herself appropriately and channel in 30 ft radius burst, hoping to exclude one fallen enemy from the benefit of the channels.
Zaia moves back and lifting the iron symbol around her neck, calls upon Desna's divine grace and then a second time.

5 hp returned to Wymond and Yirrik. Yirrk's back to full hp and Wymond's still down 5 hp.
Reaching out to Wymond, Zaia touches the paladin and a bright, warm healing light flares into life and moves from her hand into his body.
CLW on Wymond: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 (Loses Bless to spontaneously cast CLW. Wymond back to full HP.)
"My healing magic is not limitless, so do not rush headlong into danger. Be more mindful from now on, please," she quietly cautioned her male companions, before collecting her torch and moving back to the group.

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

Wymond takes a deep breath as Zaia's power heals him, shouldering his axe briefly to give her a firm hug.
"Thank ye kindly, Zaia. That's twice over I owe ye my life. I won't waste this, I swear!"
Triath dashes into the tower after them, his trotters clacking on the stone floor.

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

Wymond motions for the others to enter the tower.
"This is a much better tactical position than the entrance, where they had the high ground. We can funnel them through this door, where Yirrick can flank 'em on one side and me on the other. That oughta even the odds."

Yirrik Roone |

Yirrik grins with appreciation as Wymond dispatches the goblin, slapping his friend on the shoulder, "Well struck, Wy!"
He follows Zaia's direction and sighs as her healing magic tingle through him, sealing his injury.
He nods to Perfire then Wymond, "Yes, let's hole up here, let the little buggers get a piece of their own medicine."
He then takes up position to one side of the open door...

Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

Wymond is in position by the door and sighs.
"Little bastards are smarter than we thought. We need some way to lure 'me or goad 'em into makin' a move on us."
He rubs his round chin and thinks.
"Yirrik, you ever thrown rocks at hornet nests?"

Yirrik Roone |

Yirrik looks to his friend, a smile on his lips, "On occasion..."
He leans close to the edge of the door and calls out, "Goblins cower and goblins stink! Goblins prance and goblins fink!"
He then flattens himself against the wall and waits...

Perfire Ridal |

Perfire catches onto the plan and thinks while Yirrik sings his line.
'Goblins weak and goblins small! Longshanks come and kill them all!'
He returns to being ready to ambush any that come in to view.

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

Wymond smiles at the idea and joins in.
"Goblins run and goblins hide! Goblins wet their pants at night!"

Perfire Ridal |

I never moved from my ambush position, except to lean out and float a torch down toward the noise at the very end of combat.

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

Fix'd! I moved Wymond's marker to where he actually is...and Triath away from the door so he can hide for now and isn't made into bacon by the goblins.

Zaia Acayan |

Zaia listened as each male took a turn at goading the now quiet goblins into revealing themselves or approaching. With a torch in one hand and her sling in the other, there wasn't much she could do since the males were pressed around the entrance to the tower.
She held her place, taking a defensive stance if fighting broke out and whispered to all three males, "How about tossing a stone/rock up the tunnel to see if they attack?"

GM Tarondor |

Actually, two can't. Although you wouldn't suffer the cover penalty unless your target was under cover, your problem is that you can't see your target at all and thus can't aim at them. You need to get some light to where they are.
Since the goblins can simply toss aside or put out fires, you may find it difficult to engage in archery here. You may need to get up close and personal with the foe.
Feel free to re-do your orders.

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

Seeing his arrow evidently missing by a wide margin, Wymond unstrings his bow and takes out another torch, lighting it and then throwing it in the direction the arrows came from. If he was going to go toe to toe with these wretches, he'd need to see where he was going.

Perfire Ridal |

The torch I said I floated down that way doesn't seem to have gotten placed down there. I didn't want to move the covered areas but I can if you would prefer that.

Yirrik Roone |

If perfire's torch lit up that area...are the goblins visible? If so, use my previous attack, otherwise....
Yirrik grabs an alchemist's fire from the Pathfinder's sack and chucks it down the corridor...
I'll just use my previous roll, if that's ok?

GM Tarondor |

Okay. I did miss Perfire's action, so we'll back things up to that point, because it would affect not only what you can see, but where the enemy chooses to stand. Note that mage hand can only move an object 15' per round and only up to 25' from Perfire, so the goblins can see it coming and get out of the way.
Note also that while the area between the two torches is in shadow, you'd see anything blocking the light, so you're pretty sure no goblins are hiding there.

Perfire Ridal |

'I'll spot them!' Perfire shouts after the hail of arrows ends briefly. The halfling bolts forward and directs another torch into the dark with his finger as he dashes across the open space.
Am I correct in assuming that the fuzzy-ish green spot on the other side of the wall from me is rubble and not big enough to provide cover?

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

"I'll cover you!" Wymond says as he dashes out the door after Perfire, before continuing towards the area illuminated by the torches.

Yirrik Roone |

Just a slight modification to Yirrik's previous action...
Yirrik shakes his head as Wymond dashes forward, then takes off after his friend. Once there he tosses the alchemist fire into the nearby darkness.
Alchemist fire into the darkness to the right of our icons...

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

"Yirrik! Good to see you. Now, where are these buggers?" Wymond says, turning between the areas before them with his axe before him. At least they wouldn't shoot him in the back.

Zaia Acayan |

Using her own lit torch to see in the darker places of the tower, Zaia picked up the dropped torch and then moved to just inside the entrance to the tower, keeping out of the general view of the goblins and waited for her companions to give her the all clear before moving out/following them deeper into the ruins. She quietly called to Wymond's pig, "Come, Triath. As soon as it's safe, we will move and follow the others." She tossed one of the torches out into the tunnel for added light and kept her eyes and ears open - looking about the tower and its threshold (She's still holding onto her torch, but trying not to draw attention to herself.).
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Moved Zaia's and Triath's tokens on the map.

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

Triath nods and lets out an approving snort as he trots after Zaia.
Thank you, Zaia!

GM Tarondor |

I'm just a bit confused about Yirrik's move. Are you throwing the alchemist's fire to the south of your original position (south of where Perfire's token is now) or to the south of your final position (south of where your own tokens are now)?
Perfire: No, that's a wall.
Wymond can move up to the goblin and attack. Yirrik is out of actions.
Yirrik and Wymond run to where goblin archer is readying to flee further back into the darkness.

Wymond Dwerryhouse |

"I got the little devil!" Wymond says, barging past Yirrik towards the goblin archer.
Sorry for moving your marker there, Yirrik.
He takes a swing at the goblin before it can retreat further.

GM Tarondor |

Yirrik throws the alchemist's fire into the hallway where it shatters and burns merrily but quickly, revealing a short passageway with a few dark exits.
In front of him, Wymond makes a furious assault on the lone goblin archer who laughs madly and runs back into the eastern darkness.

'Are you alright?' He asks the paladin, eyeing the fresh wound on his leg.

Zaia Acayan |

Zaia with torch in hand moves carefully/cautiously out of the tower (moves 10ft), calling quietly to Triath to closely follow behind her. She moves to stand flat against the wall (?), away from any stray goblin arrows that might come at her from the darkness.
